We contracted with this company to fabricate and install granite counter tops in 2 bath rooms and…read morethe bar and cabinets in the kitchen. The bath room and bar counter top installations went OK and the counter tops looked good. However, when the one piece counter top around the sink between the refrigerator and the range was placed on the cabinets, the installers cracked the granite in 4 places around the sink. The installers proceeded with the installation as if nothing had happened. When we discovered the extent of the damage, the owner said that the cracks could be repaired. Two attempts to repair the flawed counter tops by smearing epoxy over the damaged area left the cracks more visible than before with a hazy looking surface to the granite. In addition to the cracks, the joints in the splash guards were uneven and smeared with epoxy. When we asked that the counter top be replaced in one piece as before but without cracks, seams or joints, the company owner, Marcos Torres, said he would only replace the counter top as two pieces with joints or seams at the sink (which he said on more than one occasion would be more noticeable than the cracks). We knew that he was correct about the joints being more noticeable because the other joints (in splaxh guards) were very rough and unprofessional. When we said that replacing the counter top in two pieces was unacceptable, Torres said," See you in court." I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.

After several months of the owner or salesman refusing to provide us with a date they would…read morecomplete our unfinished job (less than one day's work), we were forced to sue Ceramic Tile & Natural Stone and Marcos Porras (the owner) for breach of contract. The court ruled in our favor and awarded us the full judgment we had requested. Don't believe me, look at the On-line Case Lookup on www.nmcourts.com and you'll see our lawsuit among the many others which have been filed against the business and individual owner. Because they still have not paid our judgment, we are now pursuing payment through New Mexico Construction Industries Division. If they don't pay (we are just one in a very long line of creditors), we will be pursuing having their license revoked. We don't want anyone else to go through the nightmare we had and will do whatever we can to make sure this company and its owner are unable to maintain or acquire any new licenses (he's had more than one company name and license already!). Despite what the business has reflected on the Yelp website, they are not rated "A" by the BBB and are not even accredited. We filed a complaint with the BBB and they were unable to resolve our issues with CTNS (due to lack of cooperation by the vendor). Look at the BBB website yourself... http://www.bbb.org/new-mexico/business-reviews/stone-setting/ceramic-tile-natural-stone-in-las-cruces-nm-46566. Again, don't take our word for it. We can only wish we were aware of all the previous judgments issued to vendors and former clients prior to signing our contract. Our recommendation is that any potential clients do not even both to visit the showroom. If it were possible we would not even give them a one-star rating. Do not be fooled by what appear to be good prices. Turn and run!

During my last call to Jasmin I was promised a call back in 24 hours and it has been 3 weeks. Same problem with Gabriel, promised a call back in 24 hours never called. I have left numerous messages. This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They need to avoid the Home Show from this point on with this type of horrible service. You all should be ashamed of yourselves!! I have all of my phone calls saved for proof. Avoid this business at all costs, imaging trying to get hold of them if you have an issue.....no thanks! I will ensure that I tell everyone I know how you treated my wife and I. I wasted nearly 3 months waiting for your incompetence, not sure how you can stay in business. I should have known I would have problems in the beginning when your employee didn't show up for work to open the store that first Saturday.

I went to Mesilla Valley design Center looking for countertops and cabinets for my kitchen. After…read morespeaking with Yasmin and Gabe I chose a beautiful blue cabinet with a grey/white granite countertop. Unfortunately you can't see the slab in person before purchasing, but Gabe reassured me that the slab I choose did not have any purple or red in it. I absolutely did not want purple or red in my granite. The cabinets were supposed to take 3 weeks to come in. They arrived late. I was at work the day they were installed. My fiancé had sent some pics throughout the day so I could see the progress. I came home excited to see my new cabinets. I was completely disappointed when I arrived. My beautiful blue cabinets were scratched and had areas of paint rubbed off. My new laminate floors had a HUGE scratch along 3 planks. Crooked doors, gaps and the sides of the counters were pine color instead of blue, and the appliances were not installed correctly. I contacted Gabe and he reassured me the issues would be taken care of. Then comes the granite install. To start the granite has purple specks in it. I was devastated when I say this. And since it was already ordered and paid for there was absolutely nothing I could do.(Make sure you find a place that will show you your slab in person before buying) They scratched up my cabinets even more while putting the granite on my island, they broke the granite behind the stove and didn't tell me. They twisted the front of the sink base when putting the granite on. I had Gabe and his installers out on several occasions to fix these issues, but it still isn't right. I've given up trying with them. Gabe seems nice, but his installers are terrible. They try and make quick, easy fixes, but it just ends up looking like crap. It got to the point that I didn't want them back in my house. Gabe offered to have them replace the broken granite, but I decided not to let them. I was also going to have them do my back splash, but that won't be happening either. I will saw that the did give me a credit for the cost to fix my floor. All in all I went 4 months without a kitchen and spent close to $10,000 to get a kitchen that makes me sad every time I walk in to it. I do not recommend them and have already warned a friend that is looking to remodel her kitchen to stay very far away from this company.
