After finally getting a quote by email after months, I had some questions about the quote and was ready to hire AHI, so I sent an email back with my questions. One of the questions was that I was unsure if I was supposed to sign the quote and send it back, since there wasn't the usual signature line or really anywhere to sign. After a few days and not getting a response, I called and left a message. I didn't get a call back. I called the next day and was able to reach someone, and I was told she sent the questions over to Steve, and he would be answering them but he's been out of the office getting more jobs. I didn't hear back, so I followed up with email again and another call. Since no one answered the phone, I left a message. After nearly 10 days and no response, I left one final voicemail and sent one final email and I never got a response. It was always difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. And on top of it, the one time I was able to reach someone by phone after I got my quote, I was able to ask the person who answered if I was supposed to sign the quote (since there was no place to sign) and send it back or if I needed to verbally agree and I would get a formal contract. I was told I had to visit the office between 8:30 and 4pm to review and sign the contract before work could start. Sorry, but I'm not taking time off work to sign a contract. In this day and age, you can't require working people to take time off work. Send a PDF via email so I can sign it, print it, scan it and send it back. Still never got a call back. ??? It's like the company doesn't exist anymore. Same experience as Rick P. Only thing I can say is that Steve is very knowledgeable and a very nice guy, just don't expect any work done, especially if you are talking to the lady in the office (when she is there and answering the phone...) read more

I purchased my home about two years ago knowing I was eventually going to replace the roof, siding, gutters, etc. I was very impressed with the knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism of Steve Graf who came out to my home to do the initial quote. I had previously been quoted a price from Home Depot and was just on the fence if I was going to use them for the job. At the end of the day my decision was based on the excellent customer service that I received from Steve, he answered all of my questions and assured me that I would be 100% satisfied with the home at the end of the project. I watched my home be transformed from something that was dated and ugly into the best looking house on the block. I couldn't be happier with the colors and how much nicer it looks. I met so many neighbors who thanked me for having the home updated. I had no idea that so many shared my dislike for the home in its previous state. The whole project was explained to me in detail and as we went through the process I knew I didn't have to worry. Advanced Home Improvements is a company that believes in assuring the needs of the customer are met. I am extremely happy that I made the decision to go with this company and highly recommend them to anyone looking to transform their home or just to have some small updates done. It all started with a knock on our door. The roofer asked to inspect our roof. There was a violent hail storm that caused damage to many roofs, he said. Having driven through that storm I was well aware of the potential damage. My car looks awful due to that storm. As expected, there was damage to our roof, gutters and siding. After picking out all the samples it was time to start the project. First the roof. The team arrived around 7 and worked till 6:30. They ripped off the existing two roofs and followed code when replacing the roof. They hauled away all the garbage and picked up every piece of garbage they could find. Then the siding. The siding took two days due to complications. Who knew we were missing several sheets of plywood under our siding. Our house had always been drafty. The siding company put on new plywood. Then they covered the house in Tyvek and then put up the siding. The house looked fantatic. Last was the gutters. A one day quick job. Robert from Advanced worked with us throughout the process. I had many questions and he answered them all. He was patient and informative. I highly recommend using Robert. We are at the end of the process (waiting for reimbursement from insurance), so I will update if anything changes. read more

The entire Advanced Home Improvements team is very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They worked directly with my insurance to completely replace the roofing and siding of my home. The roofing and siding teams arrived at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time to setup and talk to us about what the process for the day will be. The teams were quick and professional, and did a good job to ensure there was no debris or nails left in our lawn. The office team was very responsive anytime I called with questions or wanted additional details. The entire process from start to finish was handled professionally, and I was constantly updated with how the project was progressing and also if there were any delays. Our home had severe hail damage on May 2nd 2018. A year and a half later, we still have not had our work completed. Our salesperson Steve G was wonderful to start. Ensured me that he had my back and I wasn't going to have to worry about anything . He would be there at every step. My experience could not be further from that statement. I have basically been the contractor on this job - and frankly, I suck at it but am better than Steve. There was not one step of this job that was done correctly the first time. As an example, we have shutters on 3 sides of the house. The ones downstairs are longer than the ones upstairs. First, no shutters were ordered for the side. They said they didn't know we had shutters. Then, the wrong size was ordered even though I reminded them that they had done that incorrectly for the front. They delivered them months ago and they are still in their boxes. On 10/18/19 I was advised they would be at my home next week. Today is 11/13/19 and haven't heard a word. And now we have snow so this will likely go to 2 years. The shingles at the peak of my house are buckling and one of my light fixtures is falling off the side of the house. My shed was not properly reattached to the house despite the insurance company allotting additional funds for that purpose. I won't even go into my issue with windows. Too long. BBB gives them good ratings. Must be an old report as they are sub par at this point. I am reaching out to them next as their rating is why I choose this company. read more
