I contacted Curb Appeal in mid May about a sealcoating job for my residence, and Henry came over…read morethe next day in the rain. He gave me a price and I accepted it the following week. I accepted his price by email; and he indicated that he could start the middle of June. After I had waited a couple of weeks beyond his promised date of doing my driveway, I finally called him. He said something about me being a man of his word on the price. Even though he was higher than one company, I trusted, to my dismay, that he was a straight shooter. I asked him for a contract, and he never did send me one. I think that he had other jobs, probably paving ones that would give him more money, versus a sealcoating job. I called him another time and left a message of which it was not returned. He should at least have had the decency to tell me that he could not follow up on his promise. I finally resorted to calling other companies in late July and early August; but I feel that by waiting for Henry, I missed out on other companies scheduling my job this Summer. My wife and I finally had to sealcoat the driveway ourselves, and both of us are 77 years old! In closing, do not trust Henry on his being a "man of his word"! John C.

Henry met me on site, provided details of the work involved, answered questions, was flexible for what I wanted, at a reasonable price. Curb Appeal came through - workers were experienced, professional, explained the process, left the surrounding area neat, and finished work in two days. My new driveway is beautiful. I highly recommend Curb Appeal for any paving job you may need.

They finally showed to do the work on 11/5. It all looked pretty good. However, they neglected to use their backpack blowers to remove the water out of a few puddles in front of my garage. I know that these areas needed crack sealing too. When I called to let them know what was missed, I'm now being told they are shutting down operations for the season (11/7). They can't come back until the spring when they start up again. I could have easily used my own blower the day before to remove the water and dry the area, if they had mentioned that they couldn't handle a few puddles. Now these vulnerable areas will be even more damaged by the freezing and thawing during the winter. This is what I was trying to avoid to begin with. Not very happy.

We had the base coat done on our driveway last fall and all my friends thought it was the finish coat. Excellent work! They were on time to start the job and finished the job when they said they would. I would definitely recommend them to everyone! I've dealt with other paving companies and they do nothing but try and sell you additional services. Not this company. They ask what you want and are respectful and courteous through job completion. --joanne s.

More importantly Mike advertised himself as a licensed plumber and I later found out he was not. The N.H. attorney general brought him in a couple days ago for a disciplinary hearing and proposed a 4k dollar fine which he will surely have to pay. There was so many issues with the work Mike did I brought him to small claims court and won a judgment of $7,300.00 but that doesn't even begin to cover the cost to redo his amateurish and unlicensed work and thats if we even ever get paid .According to court records Mike has been sued 9 times over the last 10 years and he lost all but one law suit.He has been arrested for failure to pay and is constantly being brought back to court by others he owes money to just as we will have to do.While doing our job Mike said he couldnt come in a couple days because he didnt feel well and come to find out he was actually in court those days, its all public record.Mikes son works with him and again through court records we found out his son is a felon for more than one reason but the one that I found most concerning was for multiple drug charges and this is a kid that was going in and out of my bedroom. Mike and Darlene are con artists that need to be shut down. They are extremely rude, filthy unprofessional people. We read the revies and thought he would do a good job based on them but come to find out a lot of the positive reviews they have are from friends and family and the negative ones they get dont stay up long because Darlene being the master manipulator she is somehow gets them removed.Do yourself a favor and Check out Mike Troila and his family through the N.H. court records and save yourself time money and aggravation ,I sure wish I did prior to hiring him he turned my life upside down and now I will have to struggle to try to get my judgment from him for what I assume will be years to come based on the fact I havent seen a dime and apparently he isnt paying all the other people he owes either. I cant stress the fact enough this is all public record ,take the time and know who your hiring before you make a life changing mistake The pictures below are of some of the poor quality work Mike did as well as the inappropriate harassing texts his wife sent to us.
