Since it was during a holiday, I didn't want to bother them too much, but I didn't receive any updates for nearly three weeks. When I finally called to check the status, the owner told me they couldn't repair it. While I understand that not every repair is possible, I would have preferred to be informed sooner so I could retrieve my laptop. Later that same day, the owner called back and said they might be able to source a donor laptop to swap parts and asked for an additional two weeks. I agreed to give them more time. However, after the promised 2 weeks, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. The owner didn't have an update and asked me to call back the next day. When I did, the owner became upset, claiming he had told me to call back at noon, which he ABSOLUTELY had not. Why does it take a day just to check the status anyways? BTW I called at 11:50 am! Are you F ing kidding me you are upset for 10 minutues (which I was not even aware of) after a month of no response? His reaction was VERY unprofessional. He then calls me for the first time at 12:00 pm to tell me they still couldn't fix the laptop. I picked up my laptop and took it to an old friend who used to do repair work. Even though he's semi-retired and farther away, he diagnosed the issue correctly and had the laptop running again within three days. This may have been an isolated experience, but I highly recommend you avoid this place. I won't be returning!

I was driving and noticed my IPhone was dying and went to grab my magnetic charger, but it wasn't…read morethere. I thought I left it at home and was about to drive home on my lunch break to get it then realized I could just buy another one. Looked up local cell phone stores in the area and IQ appeared. They're located in the small shopping center across from Cypress College on the west side of Valley View, north of Public Storage. I called before I got there and asked if they had a magnetic charger and the owner said yes for $20. Showed up and the store is small and clean. There was one guy ahead of me and the owner acknowledged me and said he'd be with me in a few moments. I was fine. The magnetic charger I have is a lightning charger that connects to a USB-C cord, while the one the shop had was an apple approved cord that was connected directly to the magnetic charger. I connected it to a Sharge power bank and it worked, but slowly charged. My phone is older so it does heat up and I did ask how much it costs to replace my battery and he said $70, which Is $10 cheaper than the Apple store. Overall, great experience and if I'm in town and have time I'll get my battery replaced.

A battery is one thing, but a cracked screen with no haptic on my daily driver phone is a hard stop, so I figured I would give this place and try and see what the price and turnaround time would be... they had my phone ready in an hours time, and at a price that was more than fair for their time, expertise, and simply having the part ready and on-hand for installation. He ran a diagnostic test on my iPhone and found that one of my front camera lenses was broken (not found) AND that my battery's capacity is only at 65%. Did he tell me about this? No. I didn't find out until yesterday when I had to pay for a new battery. If Mohammad would've told me about the diagnosis my insurance would've replaced my iPhone with a newer one! I had one, my screen still shattered, and the company didn't truly stand behind their warranty. Definitely use a physical screen protector on top of your screen--even if you have a liquid one.
