Almost immediately after we got this set the washer has made a lot of noise during the spin cycle. It has gotten steadily worse to the point where it now sounds like it could come apart in our laundry room. I called their service provider a few months ago. His comment was they are loud and there probably isn't much can be done, but he would contact the manufacturer. Having not heard anything since I stopped into the store last week to inquire if they (B&B) could do anything for us. The young man asked what we would like to be done. I suggested they could give us a trade in on a top load set. His reply was we don't take trade ins or purchase anything back. I asked what he thought could be done and he suggested I call the manufacturer. When I asked if he had a phone number, he replied that he'd have to Google it just like I should do and turned away. We have felt a slip in customer service at this store for some time now, but this is the lowest I feel a business can go. Instead, the tech went to Home Depot on his own, bought a cap, put it on the end of a tube as a temporary "fix," and charged me $200 for it. I was never consulted or given N estimate. When I pushed back, they claimed it was "urgent," but it wasn't -- it was a slow trickle leak that had been going on for days and was being managed just fine in the meantime. I refused to pay for a fix and came back out and removed the cap. My tenant then did the exact same fix himself for a couple bucks in a couple of minutes. Then they quoted me $450 to actually fix the problem. I bought the part myself, and my tenant -- with zero appliance repair experience -- looked up a how-to video and installed it in under 20 minutes. On top of all that, I was charged $85 for a "diagnostic" before they gave me the diagnostic. I had to ask for them to tell me the part that was bad.

I contacted the only Jennair-certified repair service and they gave me a quote with the exact glass cooktop model I had, but which was on factory backorder. The only other glass cooktop model compatible with my stove was available to order (cheaper than the model above that was not available). I contacted them to verify they actually had a part they quoted me for, and they stated that they'd order it. I informed them it was on factory backorder. They stated that we should then order and wait. I requested a new quote with the part that was actually available but they refused to proceed. I then contacted another well-respected repair service via Yelp. They promptly called me and recommended that I do not proceed with repair which was in their opinion costly relative to the price of the stove. Not so in my opinion. I finally had a good fortune to contact Oleksandr. He gave me the best quote, confirmed that we are ordering the correct available part, and replaced it 4 days after I initially contacted him. It took him less to do the job, than it took me to figure out Zelle payment. Absolutely outstanding service!

He started going through it and instantly called out about 8-10 small fixes and 1 bigger one that could help it work. He also pointed out that we had the wrong connector cables (thanks wasted Amazon purchase). He had it for a couple of days, called me back with a quote and timeline to complete the work. When I came in to pick it up, he spent about an hour with me showing all the things we did but also all the functionality the player had that we didn't know about. He answered about 10 (what's this piece for) dumb without getting annoyed with me or kicking me out, which he was probably well within his rights to do at that point. I brought it home, hooked it up and it's been kicking butt for 2 days now. We can't stop playing music in the house and it's probably time for a used record store run. All in all, perfect service and communication. I cant speak for a couple negative reviews on here expect that this guy is old school.
