Chamberlin sent the Bill Donoghue, who arrived early, at 2:15 p.m, on 6/30/26. He stated that they could not install the generator at the North end of my house, because they could not tap into the basement propane pipe that extends the 54 feet from the South end of my house, where the propane meter is, to the North end of the house, where the 200 amp Transfer Switch would be located next to the circuit breaker box. He asserted that they would have to install it at the South end of the house and tap into the main line pipe coming off the propane meter. Then they would have to fish wire through the sheetrock-covered ceiling of the finished room at the South end of the basement and run it the rest of the way through the unfinished basement to the Transfer Switch. On 7/10/25 I received the email quote from Traci in their Sales & Marketing Department. My research for this project indicates that it is a competitive quote, so for now I'm giving them 3 stars since it took 10 days to get the quote. I plan on choosing a contractor on 9/3/26, and if Chamberlin is chosen and does an outstanding job, I'll update my rating to 5 stars."

I exhausted my intelligence of electrical circuitry and began looking for an electrician. I found Blanchette Electrical on Yelp and called them around 3:00 PM. I explained my analysis of the problem and they agreed to come and take a look. While trying to coordinate their schedule with that of my tenants Shawn suggested that they come over that evening just after 5:00 PM. That really helped us a lot. They arrived and fixed the problem which I would have never figured out. It was a bad recepticle. They fixed it so quickly I asked them to replace an outdoor plug which had become loose and did not look safe. They went over to Home Depot for the parts and had it repaired within an hour of showing up at the house. I thought the bill would be high having had them tackle additional work but it wasn't. I was very pleased with the work, the timeliness and the price of the job. Nice to meet good honest working people who I will turn to for all of my electrical needs. I recommend them highly.

Seth and his helper wired a 4 season sunroom, added a new panel to support that room plus some…read moreother outdoor wiring. The quote was good and they showed up when they said they would. Issue 1: Without asking anyone, Seth drilled through a brand new flat rubber (EPDM) roof to install conduit. My builder was onsite and after was not happy. Then he improperly installed the rubber cup (aka witches hat) to seal. This was outside exposed to rain and ice and obviously would have filled. I had to ask Seth to remove that conduit. Then asked my roofing contractor to come back and repair the roof properly. Issue 2: Seth left an open panel inside an unfinished area of the basement with 15' of wiring exiting the panel and laying on the floor. The wiring used to run my 240VAC irrigation pump. I had to remind him (see pic) about this the day before the final building inspection. He fixed it. Issue 3: Seth added the new outside panel, but never added the 240 VAC breakers for the pump! Seth says I asked to have the original line removed but did not want a new line to my pump...somehow. Did he ask? Does that make any sense? The pump saver is 12" from the panel. Today I asked Seth about the missing 240VAC circuit. Seth "is too busy". This last bit is why I am writing a review today. Root cause: Making assumptions without asking.

We had his team install several ceiling fans in brand new (no existing fixture) ceilings, as well as some recessed LED lighting in our kitchen. We also had them install a couple of extra fixtures in the house and replace an existing cheap dining room light. All of the work came out absolutely top notch. The ceiling fans (5 of them) are centered and balanced perfectly. The LEDs in the kitchen look fantastic, and they even expanded an existing switch box to add a new switch with a dimmer. The other lights came out great as well. Brian's team was extremely professional - the crew that came to my house was a great bunch of guys that explained to me what they were doing when I asked, cleaned up everything when they left, and even dealt with my overly curious dog being underfoot most of the day. I am definitely glad that I called Mason first - the job was done exactly the way we wanted it at a price that was extremely fair. A great company with a solid crew that did a spot-on job at the right price. Edit: Following up a year later, I'll take the high road. One good experience, one less than stellar.
