He gives you understanding of the injury/insecurities within your body and what steps and healing modalities are required to heal and repair your body. He and his staff then administer the treatment(s) with care. The physical therapist assistances are also great!! One who stands out is Mirian. She is very kind and considerate. She takes time to communicate and engage with you so you are informed and cared for. I had my first physical therapy session here and really liked the therapist--they were helpful. Unfortunately, after that initial visit, I've had a very difficult time trying to schedule a follow-up appointment. I've been calling every day with no answer. I've also received text responses asking me to reply, but when I do, I don't get any follow-up. I've tried multiple times and still haven't been able to get scheduled. It's especially frustrating because I'm in significant pain every day and need ongoing treatment, but I can't continue care without being able to make an appointment. First, they never answer the phone. Found out the way they communicate is by text. I went here and didn't like the vibe. The guy that did my assessment was rude and his desk was dusty as hell. Thick like it hadn't been dusted for weeks, maybe months. That let me know they don't adequately clean around there. I was recommended here for physical therapy, because the first physical therapy I was recommended didn't take my insurance. The owner Mr. Matthew Perry is very professional. He knew exactly what was wrong with me. The only downside to this place is that, when you call them they don't answer their phone and once you hang up, you'll get a text message asking what was the purpose of your call. I wish, you could interact with real people instead of using text messages. Some therapists are friendly and some arent. They just just tell you to do certain sets of exercises then walk away. I wish they would stay with you, while you are doing your exercises. The receptionist is not friendly, her face expression always looks like she doesn't want to be there. This is my second time in physical therapy and so thankfully I had prior experience so a certain level of expectation. Broken or poorly maintained physical therapy equipment. Lacked a lot of physical therapy equipment used at my prior therapy location. Therapist was nice but I couldn't believe I drove this far to do some leg extensions, ride a broken down stationary bike and get on a treadmill overlooking some depressing apartments. I belong to a very nice athletic club much closer to my home and could have done "my therapy" in a much nicer environment. Front office staff seemed bored and unfriendly. The parking garage is a door ding waiting to happen. Didn't even want to leave my car in the garage. I will not be back. Owner - No need to leave your generic response. I'm not interested. read more

My review is coming after having a 2nd injury and being directed to a different physical therapy place. I had an injury which required surgery last Oct to my hand. Visited ADT from Nov through Aug twice weekly. My sessions lasted a total of 30 mins and 5-10 of that was "warm up". The balance of the session were pretty generic and personally I felt I wasn't getting much better. I will echo office personnel lacking personality, and towards the last months of my care there there was a lot of staff changes. Unfortunately (OR FORTUNATELY) I broke my wrist (same hand) in Aug and this time was referred to a different location. Now my eyes are opened!! 1st session met with my therapist who spent 30 minutes taking measurements of all my ranges - WHAT A NOTION!!! Since then - my sessions are an hour long, consist of warming up, ultrasound, 30 min deep tissue massage (to eliminate scar tissue from the previous injury and AVOID scar tissue from the new one) and the remaining 25 mins is rigorous and effective exercises that are added onto each week to advance my therapy. It's unfortunate you don't know the poor level of care you are receiving till you receive a great experience. Feel I wasted months of trying to get my hand use back only to have to start all over again. read more

Unorganized chaos and unfriendly. This was my husband first appointment to this facility and also his last we came 15mins early for his appointment and after filling out the paperwork and waiting an hour later the receptionist apologized and told us the physician had an emergency and we could either continue to wait to see if he returns or reschedule. Also the office is dirty everyone is exposed and close together for the rehabilitation. Please do better for the community. A clean and friendly staff is deserved by everyone. read more

RED FLAG Let me start off by saying, I haven't even been there yet but I will agree with a lot of people, the front office/ phone staff are AWFUL. It is very very concerning that there have been multiple complaints about the exact same thing. what's even more concerning is that the owner keeps commenting and apologizing yet it keeps happening? ZERO Stars for Front Desk, One Star for Useless Appt. After injuring my hip and jumping through months of hoops (my doctor couldn't see me until April, x-rays, an MRI), I finally landed a physical therapy appt. Yes!! May 8th, here I come!! I showed up so relieved and hopeful--and left frustrated and nearly in tears. The appointment? A joke. Mr. Perry asked to see two movements (one I could do; the other I fell sideways and he had to catch me). Then I lied down for a quick leg lift. "Tell me when it hurts." / "Already there." And that was it. No stretches. No exercises. No at-home plan. Not even a printout. Just: "Go to the front desk to schedule PT." Wait--wasn't I in PT already? Why not get started??? Bewildered, I went to the front desk. The next available was May 21. Huh?? In 13 more days?? Ooookay, giving the benefit of the doubt I asked, "Oh, so May 21 starts the real routine--2 to 3 times a week?" Nope. That was just the next available slot. After that? Nothing until June. My voice cracked as I relayed how long I'd waited, how much I needed it, and how much pain I was in every day. It was surreal -- in pain, in a physical therapy office, and being told to wait another 13 days. I asked, "How is physical therapy even possible at that rate? The doctor just said I'd need multiple sessions a week. How does May 8, then May 21, then June qualify as a treatment plan?" They couldn't care less. Just shrugged. Utterly indifferent. Meanwhile, looking behind the wall I see the therapy area looks like a ghost town--dark, no overhead lights, three empty tables, barely any equipment, and zero patients or therapists. No one at all. The whole place gave off a vibe of: "We're not really in the business of helping people." Also, pro tip: Don't bother calling. No one answers. It's all done by text, and if you ask for a call, you'll get radio silence. I walked out, emailed Mr. Perry to explain why I was canceling my 2nd appt, and now pay $125/session out-of-pocket somewhere else. I was desperate. Deep aching pain will do that. Lastly, yes--I'll be writing my insurance company too. They might not love paying for care, but I guarantee they really don't love paying for smoke and mirrors. read more

I really like this physically therapy center. First time doing water therapy and they have bikes, ellipticals even a treadmill in the water. It's heated so within 5 mins you're working up a sweat! It's been super helpful after knee surgery. I only wish they had more locations:) Def recommend!! read more

Came here for therapy. At my 1st appt I decided that 25 mins was long enough to wait so I wanted to reschedule (Their policy is that they charge you for an appt if you are 15 mins late). When I asked to reschedule I was told that 25 mins waiting was acceptable and that for the 1st appt everyone waits. What??!!?? The office manager, and front desk are HORRIBLE. The office manager specifically has an extremely nasty disposition, I had to call repeatedly to even get an initial appointment because they do not answer the phones. Then I had to call repeatedly to get copies of my records. Their voicemail directs you to text them which they will also ignore. You basically have to hound them to get answers about your treatment which is extremely frustrating especially when you're injured. No one should have to argue back and forth with office staff during e then to simply do their job and help you get the care you need. It's unfortunate that their front desk staff is so horrible because it really sets the tone for the patient's entire experience regardless of how great the physical therapists and/or treatment is. Additionally, their treatment beds smell like weed which is extremely irritating to my respiratory, neurological, and nasal systems. This office needs new personnel and professional training IMMEDIATELY. read more

The consistency of horrible reviews and your canned replies that don't even address the complaints make me very suspicious that you're qualified in this field. And do you care in the least that your staff is embarrissingly incompetent and careless in their patient interactions? While you repeatedly apologize for this, you also allow it to continue. I find it difficult to believe that any insurance company would recommend your "practice" to their insured customers. Perhaps you are merely in the business of receiving compensation from insurance companies without providing any actual treatment. After reading the pages of reviews posted here, clearly, providing proper and effective physical therapy is not within your field of expertise. My Insurance approved aquatic therapy with you guys therapy that I really need. You guys cancelled my therapies because the swimming pool is not working. Because is not working the heater you said. First you said it will be fixed in 1 week then you said in maybe 2 weeks last time you said now is going to close for the entire month and finally you said "I don't know when it will be open". I understand that you rent the swimming pool but you need to do a better contract with those people to push them to fix it in case this happens again. I hope you are not getting money from my insurance without giving me therapies but the most important thing besides money is my health. You interrupted my therapies and it is super difficult to communicate with you because nobody answers phone calls and your workers just send texts. Please fix this situation. read more

If I could give this place a negative millionth zero I would. First off, the office manager and the scheduler are the most unfriendly and incompident people there. Shout out to Mable and Jesse. Jesse, I have left 3 messages trying to get the ball rolling after my authorization and never seems to call back. Called today and Jesse isn't answering the phone so I spoke to the front desk and Mable said she was the office manager. Not the brightest person out there, she tells me that Jesse's notes say redirect me to another facility. I ask Mable why is that and her response is "that's what's in the notes" I can do nothing more. Wow, you really are good at reading and doing nothing. Congrats to you. I have been trying to reach this office because I needed to find a therapist in my area. After two weeks of no answer I tried my luck and headed over after work. When I walked in no one greeted me. People were sitting in desks with their AirPods in but still no acknowledgement. The girl with black hair at the front desk was sitting there painting her nails. Which is disgusting and highly unsanitary. A movie was playing in the background that they seemed to be paying more attention to. I don't normally leave reviews but if that's what they're doing instead of answering phones I would hate to see what they do when I'm a patient. Too convoluted of a story to tell, but the nutshell is: when I asked for a specific time I was told it was not available, then almost immediately told I could have the time slot... when I was confused by this and asked to clarify the timeslot's availability she said, "I'll just double book it". When I asked how that works when I get there, she lets out a big exasperated sigh like I just asked her a ridiculous question and then tells me that whoever gets there first will get the time and the other person will just have to wait. Are you kidding me? I said the fact that you thought this was ok to do, and without even explaining to me how this would work tells me I do not want to be at your clinic. STAY AWAY. read more

When leaving a voicemail you will receive an automatic text response, requesting the same thing that was stated on the voicemail. How redundant. FOUR days later I received a text asking "How can I help you with scheduling an appointment". I guess this is the new look at how this company takes care of business. I have been calling their office to get an appointment for aqua therapy for two months and I have yet to hear from them. All I get is a text saying, "sorry we missed your call." I've also went once for physical therapy and all they did was massage my neck with a machine (it felt like they were trying to dig a hole in the ground and I have severe damage in my neck. Then, they finished off with a heated towel. I can do that at home. The staff is horrible and they are very rude. read more

The worse physical therapy I've ever been... they put you on a bike for 10 Minutes, then in a room to do your own exercises... your first time they treat you ok with appointment, but after a couple of weeks they have nothing so you're placed on the back of the waiting list while the new patients gets an appointment... I recently had knee surgery at California Hospital this facility did nothing for me to get better, my new Dr. switched me to Cedars Sinai PT which was just amazing. I've been going to Advanced Dynamic Therapies for about 3-4 months now. And let me just say, Danielle, Jessica, and Adrian are my favorite staff members there! All 3 are very kind, outgoing, thoughtful, understanding, and easy to talk to. I don't make the rules, but it's usually the same or different physical therapist helping you out at each visit. That being said, it's lovely being able to switch it up here and there. That way I get a chance to see one of the three, if not all, every once in awhile. Amazing place and wonderful staff! I was referred to them after an accident and my physical therapist Angie was absolutely amazing! She listen to all of my concerns every step of the way and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and confident in my abilities. She never dismissed my concerns and gave me tips on what I could do to relieve pain at home. My first day I couldn't move my arm away from a 90 degree angle at my chest, today I have full range of motion, flexibility, and strength. I know I couldn't have done it without her and her support. I came to this place for a consultation with a 9:45 am appointment. I got there early and also did my paperwork online which they did not have noted and tried to make me refill the paperwork until I told them I had already done it. I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes and then 40 minutes past my appointment time until I finally went to the window and asked them what the delay was. They told me consultations take this long and I told them that the consultation hasn't even started yet because I haven't seen a doctor I've been waiting in the lobby. I told them that it was taking too long and I'd comeback another time to which the front desk lady replied "just so you know it'll be the same thing next time" to which I replied "So what is the point of making an appointment at all??" and left. I found it very rude because they did not offer any help rescheduling or apologize for the inconvenience. One of the worst experiences I've had in a doctor's office. read more

This message is for Mr Perry. I was sent once in Long Beach where I completed my first sessions. the second time, I was sent to Inglewood. The Inglewood is an indoor place and clean. The instructor Miriam is very nice. Now the poeple in the office are the worst. I had this conversation with other patients and all had the same complaints. the office people dont pick up the phone. During my monthly bleeding, I like to call prior and look to reschedule those upcoming days. It does not matter how many times I ve called, upon how many days, left several messages on the appropriate extensions as well as other extensions in the hopes someone would get back to me. no one never did. the only time I got called back is when I forgot my wallet at the pool so the pool people had to contact them and one lady called me. i asked her why they never answer the phone. they said it's not true they always answer. I contested and said I left messages to reschedule many times. she said she listens to messages everyday and coldly says that she never heard my message. it's not one message that I left, but several. she's a pathological liar. someone needs to remove her. put her in a corner where she does not have to deal with the phone and put someone who has a conscience and who s professional. she is a liar and a bad element to the well being of the company or patients. she lies so naturally. My mother was sent here after getting a stroke...all they did for 3 months was make her sit and stand throughout all her visits there, which at the end of her visits it didn't help her at all, we had to wait to request more visits thankfully her dr sent her to another therapy place which has her doing way more they have her on machines and are teaching her how to walk something they should've done here but didn't...The dr at this place never helps always inside his office, the therapist have like 3 patience at once keep in mind you therapy is only 1hr breaks it down to 30-40 mins with patience since they are back and forth with the other ones... This woman work with heart you can see her working hard to help do the right thing . This is my second time coming to Advanced Dynamic Therapies. My first visit was for my neck and the staff is fantastic. I seriously love the people who work here and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They go above and beyond to ensure that the needs of the patient are met. My last visit for my shoulder injury and Annelle (sorry if I spelt her name wrong) has been amazing. She is such a sweet heart and she seriously cares so much about her patients. She gives the best massages and always makes sure that I am doing my exercises correctly so I can get better.
