In comes Dr. Funt and wah-lah! After carefully examining my face during my first consultation, Dr. Funt took her time to explain her findings (hormonal acne indeed). She designed a straight forward treatment plan and made sure to let me know that my skin was going to "purge" or get worse before it got better once I started my trentinoid treatment. She explained that it takes weeks to see noticiable results but to just stick to the treatment plan and promise that I would be very happy with the results in a few months. Three months in and wow! With Dr. Funt's treatment plan (that included both an oral medication and another topical cream I had never had prescribed before), and my dedication to stick to my treatment plan as directed, my skin is better than EVER!
