Hygienist Lisa was awesome with a hyper, cabin-fevered kiddo, giving names and "kid-friendly" applications to the entire cleaning process (my fave: Mr. Thirsty for the mouth vac). When I first called, I was offered a virtual consultation the following day, which I completed thinking I would be able to schedule an in-office visit shortly after. However, I was told the next available appointment was about a month away. Although that was frustrating, I still scheduled it. Later, my sister received a follow-up text from the office about confirming an appointment. She also had reached out to inquire about Invisalign. But By that time they finally replied to her, she had already decided to move forward with another dental office, so she asked if I could take that available slot instead. The office replied saying that would be fine. However, when I was about five minutes away from the office, the receptionist, Hannah, called and said there had been some confusion and that I should keep my original appointment. That was extremely frustrating because I had already rearranged my schedule and was on my way. It didn't make sense that I was told I could come in if I ultimately couldn't be seen to conduct the appointment in its entirety. When I eventually had my appointment, the doctor and the back-of-house staff were very kind and professional. The visit itself was going well, and I told the doctor I wanted to move forward with Invisalign. I was then told it would take about four weeks for the trays to come in. I've had Invisalign before and know it often takes closer to two weeks, but I was still willing to proceed. The biggest issue came when discussing payment. I was given four payment options, and I asked if I could use my dental insurance and pay the remaining balance with my CareCredit card. I was told that wasn't possible. They mentioned they asked the doctor and apologized, but the answer remained no. I've never experienced a dental office being so restrictive about how a patient chooses to pay. It also makes the promotion offered very misleading considering that's not what's advertised. Overall, while the doctor and clinical staff were pleasant, the confusing scheduling, poor communication, and inflexible payment policies made the entire experience frustrating and ultimately felt like a waste of time. My son went to Dr Donnelly beginning 4th grade. He had a slight underbite so I had him see an…read moreorthodontist early so the bite could be corrected while he was growing. Dr. Donnelly had him begin a pre-treatment. This involved expander and face guard. While my son was using expander, the bracket broke. Instead of replacing, Dr. Donnelly says it was no longer needed. This could have been a coincidence but I felt Dr. Donnelly did not want to spare the $ of giving him a new one. Then next step was to have him wear a mouth guard. My son wore this everyday and night when possible for 3/4 years. It hardly moved anything. At each visit I would point out that this device was not working so perhaps he would be able to do something to help his upper teeth to move. After 3 years he didnt try any other type of procedure that might help the process along. We paid over $3000 dollars for pre-treatment and I feel he did not provide any services. All he did was have him continue to wear a mouth piece and gave us 5 minute office visits every 3 months just to tell us to keep wearing the mouth piece. I felt after a year or so of wearing the mouth guard he should have tried to do other orthodontic work to help the process. He is a scam artist and will try and charge top dollars while doing very little work. A good orthodontist would try and do what is necessary to correct the problem. He had him wearing this for 3/4 years and did nothing else. My son is now 13 going on 14 and still have an incorrect bite with no work done. He says now we should move to braces stage but says my son will need jaw surgery and wants to charge me over 10k for braces. Luckily I was able to find another orthodontist who is willing to do additional work to avoid surgery and will not charge anything extra. He is giving me one price and it includes braces and any other necessary process he needs to do to correct. Dr. Donnelly's office was also not helpful when the other place called for my sons records. I paid for these records and they should release them with my consent. However they make it difficult for you to obtain them. Anyone thinking of using Dr. Donnelly for ortho treatment please get a 2nd opinion so you can compare services and understand what you are paying for.

Now, all four top teeth have root canal issues, and the cost to fix this is over $20,000. On top of that, he used an intense light that left dark spots on my lips after drying the glue. It seems he did all this intentionally, with these problems only becoming apparent years later. I recorded all my visits and can provide proof if necessary. Dentist. Lindgren falsely claimed I cursed his staff, which is completely untrue. If I had, I would ask him to specify exactly what was said and to whom. I urge him to do the right thing. This behavior is unprofessional and immature. Dentist. John Lindgren and his wife, both highly educated and quick to defend themselves, seem skilled at deflecting criticism rather than addressing the real issues at hand. Despite their credentials, their behavior throughout my treatment was unprofessional and disrespectful.
