Ivan was our hero! My elderly parents got a wrong key stuck in the ignition and were stranded on a hot Sunday. I called Ivan and within 30 minutes he was with my parents, got the wrong key out, was able to make copies of the right key and got the car started again. We can not thank Advanced County Locksmiths enough. On a Sunday in the middle of the COVID-19 restrictions we were locked out of our house and needed assistance. We called hoping for the best and within 15 minutes we had someone at our house. They practiced safety measures by wearing a mask and respecting social distancing measures. Recently bought a house and needed to have a custom door rekeyed quickly. In a panic, my wife locked herself out of the apartment with our niece. The entire maintenance staff for the apartment complex was off as it was Easter Sunday, and I was away. Very friendly guys. Service isn't the cheapest, but hey ... When you're locked out of the house, it's not too expensive (compared to other locksmiths). My husband and I just had the worst experience with this business! We were left speechless, really. We bought a new home in January and needed new locks installed. My husband reached out to this business because of the great reviews, but were sadly misled. And to think This is apparently a family business! When we visited the establishment, Ivan greeted us and showed us around the store. He showed us what seemed to be "quality" locks. We were told that if we purchased from them we would have a long term warranty with the locks in case anything happened to them. Well, $510.00 later, after install, the doorknobs became loose and shortly after that our front door locks jammed to the point we couldn't leave the house through the front door. Knowing what was promised to us at the time of purchase, we reached out to seek repairs. The nice promising , Ivan we met at the store during purchase had a different tune this time around! We were given the run around, told that all the locks needed were to be tightened and that we could do it ourselves, when my husband mentioned Ivan's worry free promise he completely lost it on the phone started yelling at us, refused to help us out at all! He said we were lying and that he didn't want to do the job. When I called back, he said "bottom line, I don't have time for a job like that" and asked if I wanted another locksmiths number. We experience a great deal of unprofessionalism and would not wish that experience for anyone - we feel robbed! if your looking for security of your home or security in you purchase, this is not the place to go! I was a longstanding customer with Advanced locksmith I have called twice for service I mostly speak with Ivan who's been here multiple times in the past I explained to him that my door handle is not in sync with my lock I ask how much wood it be for you to come out he tells me 125.00 plus parts I reminded him I usually pay 95.00 for a service call he said 95.00 is on the weekends for emergency service. 125.00 is for the weekdays from the hours of 9-5:00pm every time you call it's a new price nothing consistent. I've heard of a higher price for emergency calls never a higher price during normal business hours. read more

This place is great! Excellent costumer service! Here's what happened to me: I took my kids to Old Navy in Watchung & when we got back in my SUV to come home; my key wouldn't turn over in the ignition! Then it started storming, but that's another story. Anyway, I had to call a friend to come & rescue us in that mess. I called Multi Chevrolet the next day to get a new key made & they told me that I had to pay to get my car towed out of there (which was going to be impossible during regular business hours) to get it to their service station so the key could be reprogrammed to the car. I've lived in multiple states & never had to bring my 2005 Equinox in to have it "reprogrammed". I drive a lot so my key gets worn out. I was referred to Advanced by the tow company because I was strapped for cash so he said to do this first before I just throw away my money. I wasn't able to get a ride & get there until about 10 minutes before closing. And guess what?! Come to find out; there is no freaking chip in the damn key to begin with! I bought the SUV in 2006, used, in Phoenix, Arizona. This key thing happened to me about 4 years ago in Dallas & I had to get a "special" key made (with a chip in it). They have 24 hour emergency service & will come to you! My heroes! The guys in there were so friendly & helped me save bookoos of money! If that key didn't work they would have came to my car to replace the ignition & the money I paid for the key would have went towards that! I'm so happy I was referred to them! Save their # in your phone; you know, just in case. They do more than auto! Seriously, I've never been treated better by any other businesses in Jersey! I can't say how happy I am not having to rely on anyone for rides anywhere. read more

I ran into a huge problem yesterday 8/18/18 with my car I had gone to auto zone in Springfield New Jersey and I unfortunately got stuck there not being able turn my car on.
