The person who I talked to provided ample information about the type of computer equipment that I need to purchase. As most Best Buy stores, including the one closest to my home, are for the most part self-service, this store was a nice surprise (never been there) I am seriously thinking about making my purchases there. My first and last experience with this retailer was for the iPhone 6 release. I was told they would open at 8am, which they did. I arrived about 7am and to my delight I was the only person in line. The other workers started showing up around 7:30 and a few minutes later a lady walked up with her two kids. She was greeted at the door by a sales person and allowed in (I was quickly told that I would not be allowed in yet, even though I didn't ask or attempt to enter). My first reaction was that this was such a good thing that the store was allowing the mother to wait inside since it was a bit chilly and she had 2 small children with her. It wasn't long before I learned that the mother was a friend of the salesperson and was being allowed to get first dibs on the available phones. I wasn't too upset about this, but it definitely rubbed me the wrong way and gave me an uneasy feeling. By 8am there was a short line outside and we were greeted by, who I'm assuming was the manager, cheerfully proclaiming that they had iPhones in stock. We were all very excited until the lady continued. She stated that we would be *allowed* to purchase iPhone 6's that morning but only if we ALSO purchased $100 in additional accessories. I was appalled! I have possibly never felt more taken advantage of. I couldn't believe what they were trying to do was even legal! I'm proud to say that I stood on principle and walked away without purchasing an iPhone 6. As fortune would have it, I went to the corporate Verizon store in town and was able to get the phones I wanted without being cheated. I will NOT return to this store for any reason...
