LG had this company come out to fix my 1.5 yr old refrigerator and this company is who they use in north nj. Kelly came out to fix it, didn't bother running a diagnostics on it and went ahead and replaced the compressor. Well it still didn't work after that. LG company told me to call him back the next day so I did. I proceeded to tell him that it never worked after he left and asked him if he ran any diagnostics on it. He became so RUDE!! Telling me how dare I question what he did! I said he didn't have to start getting so rude and proceeded to tell me that I was being rude!! And yelling at me while he was telling me. He said " you're questioning me on how to fix the refrigerator? CALL LG" and hung up. So now not only do I have a none working brand new refrigerator but I don't have anyone to put in a report to get this refrigerator replaced bc that's all he would've had to do or come back and fix it. He didn't even need to come back out to look at it again if he really didn't want to ( just put a report in that it's unfixable). I tried to call him back and he LET it go to voicemail so I said " all your reviews are true and you're a nasty a-hole just as all the reviews state". NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY!! And if LG says to use this guy, tell them to find another company to fix your appliance. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I used this company a few years ago to repair a dishwasher. They were very good. Last month I called for a freezer repair. I was quoted $90 for the service call. When the "technician" came I was told $600 for the new motor. I gave $400 towards the parts and service call. He slipped and said it was $125 for the service call. Now, one month later there is no response after 6 phone calls and voice mail messages. I called everyday this week. They are scammers, liars, shady and completely unreliable. The man who comes is a man named Wisdom .. he seems like a nice man . He asked to use the bathroom I said sure .. I asked if he needed anything drink etc .. he told me lg dryer has one year warranty when my husband came home I told him our 2 year old dryer already had a 650 .00 dollar repair . I wrote wisdom a check and would be back with the part in a few days. I called LG to clarify warranty information..they said yes they would cover it and to have Wisdom contact them for payment, the women even tried to call him but he woukd not answer so i called this man and he became so very belligerent! This company is a life saving company. My Condo is over 40 years old and the dish washer works but very noisy and shakes violently. The gentleman who came whose name was Wisdom explained to me about the wear and tear due to old age . I thought of replacing with a new one but he said I could still used it but it needs replacing few parts and adjustments and boy oh boy my dishwasher is back to life. Referral from LG on a warranty call for a washer. Tech called just prior to 12-5 window, twice in a row (see attached call log). I'm at work (but wife was home) so missed the call. When I called back, the tech was extremely rude, cancelled the appointment despite calling before the scheduled window, angrily lied about this being the second appointment I missed, and refused to schedule another an actual second appointment. I have been trying to get a hold of AAS for the past 8 days. They have their business line forwarded to a personal cell phone with a full mailbox so you can't get in touch with them. I went to their physical location and left a note on their door (house). They replaced the compressor (or so they say they did) 2 weeks ago and it broke again. I don't trust that they used the new part that LG provided OR that they even did a repair at all. They insisted after the work that they only take cash or check. I had an appointment on 1/11/19 with an open window between 9 and 12 awaiting for this company to come and service my dryer I received a phone call at 9:35 a.m. and missed the call and when I did return the call I was told that my appointment was canceled because I did not pick up the phone. When speaking to a male on the other end he was very rude and disrespectful and proceeded to hang the phone up on me. When I call back I asked a gentleman why did he hang the phone up on me he stated because he can. Worst repair company. Purchased a new stove from Best Buy and had the service scheduled through Advanced. They came out to look at it and decided they didn't repair LG appliances. Went to Best Buy to see if there was another company to repair the stove. Manger called Advanced to explain the situation and they agreed to fix it. He told me that the barrel was knocked off balance. After using it twice, I noticed it was 'walking' ie of balance. After a third attempt to schedule him back out, he became very aggressive. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!! DO NOT USE THEM EVER!!! My husband and I called LG and asked them to please go online and read the reviews, we filed a major complaint and begged LG NEVER to recommend their services to another consumer in the future and will also report to BBB. They should be closed and out of business! We have been out of a refrigerator for 1 whole week. We called on a Wednesday, spoke to Wisdom (what a name, what a joke) who was very happy to diagnose, take the service call and take our money, not keeping his word to phone us back when he said he would, left us high and dry over the Memorial day weekend THEN came out Tuesday (6 days later) to repair the fridge, but here were are, 7 days later and STILL the fridge is inoperable! He said he replaced the old compressor with a new compressor...?!?!?! We have been eating out for the past week, so frustrated obviously, we called to confront him with the matter, he said he would have to refund us the deposit! Do NOT USE Advanced App Services. Have a DCS stove under warranty, given AAS's name and number, they came out, did the initial review and determined the problem. Got Okay from DCS to do the repair and AAS never ordered the part and I have called them 20 times and got voice mail 18 times and spoke with Francis and Wisdom the other two times and was told they were waiting for the part and they were going to call back. Since never got call back I Called DCS and they called AAS and was told AAS had never ordered the part and couldn't do the work. This started in April and now September before AAS told me that they couldn't do the repair. read more

Technician was able to diagnose the problem almost as soon as I explained it to him. He showed me what what was wrong, and didn't waste any time at getting it fixed. He was a bit late, but he called ahead so I'll let it slide. Saved me from buying a new fridge, so I'm happy. I think my wife wanted a new fridge, though. read more

When they came for the initial visit to figure out the problem with my dishwasher, I was charged $80.00 & asked them specifically if that would be applied to the final bill when the parts came in & I was told YES, however when they came to fix it which took all of maybe 15 to 20 minutes, I was given a bill which included another $50.00 for labor & was told that they would not apply it. Any time I have had appliance repaired the service visit charge has always been applied to the final bill. After a heated discussion with the repair man whose English was not good I finally gave him a check but will never use them or refer them. Very BAD customer service. read more

DO NOT USE ADVANCED APPLIANCE SERVICES FOR ANYTHING. They were recommended to me by LG to repair my dryer and I received HORRIBLE and UNETHICAL service. My dryer was not functioning properly so I called Advanced to come to my house to check it out. The soonest appointment they offered was 3 weeks from the date I called. In order to check out my dryer, they charged me 96 dollars. Then I was told that the dryer needed a part in order to be fixed. I had to call repeatedly after 2 weeks of waiting for the part and when I finally spoke to someone, they told me that I needed to pay for the part before they would even come to my house to try to fix the dryer. When I told them that I had never heard of any business asking for such a thing, they hung up on me. I called another service company to come check out the dryer and when they did, they told me that no part was required and the air duct simply needed to be cleaned out. Advanced Appliance Services clearly has no real knowledge of what they claim to be experts in and they conduct business in an extremely unprofessional manner. read more
