Frank at the shop gave me some pointers on how to install them, since I'm a DIYer. His instructions were point on. The quality of these shutters was excellent! Better than I was expecting! From the very first phone call, JC was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They scheduled a free in-home consultation within a couple of days, and the consultant arrived right on time, listened carefully to what I wanted, and offered fantastic suggestions without any high-pressure sales tactics. He took precise measurements and helped me choose the perfect style, color, and finish that complements my décor perfectly. The installation crew was just as impressive. They showed up on the exact day promised, laid down drop cloths to protect my floors, and worked efficiently and neatly. The shutters were custom-made and fit every window like a glove--no gaps, no adjustments needed. The quality is outstanding: solid hardwood, smooth operation, and that classic, elegant look that instantly elevated the whole house. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail. They even adjusted the tilt rods exactly how I wanted them and made sure I knew how to clean and maintain everything properly. The pricing was fair and transparent--no hidden fees or surprises on the final bill. Honestly, it felt like a premium service at a very reasonable cost. I've already get compliments from everyone who visits, and the difference in light control, privacy, and insulation is night and day. I recommend Elite Decor to anyone looking for plantation shutters (or any window treatments, really). They're true professionals who take pride in their work, and it shows. If you're on the fence, go with them--you'll be as delighted as I am! Thank you for transforming my home!

Thanks to Diversified Aluminum Shutters, I can lock it all up easily in about 5 minutes. Upstairs shutters are locked from the inside. Downstairs shutters are locked with a key. So glad I don't even need a ladder. I dreaded the process of looking for installers. You never know what to expect from them. You never know who to trust. Thankfully one day, these guys showed up installing shutters in my neighborhood. But I hadn't found them personally. My neighbors from across the street did. The same good neighbors that helped me install some plywood when Irma was about to hit. Communication with DAS was always prompt whether I was dealing with Claudia or Marcella. They answered all of my questions when needed. Measurements of all my windows were taken twice. The first measurement was needed for the price quote. The second measurement was needed later on for confirmation for when they were about to receive the shutter parts. The price quote for parts and installation was very fair and reasonable. I paid 50% down and 50% upon completion. DAS also took care of the permit from the city since I chose this option. However, I was responsible obtaining a letter of approval from my HOA which was simple. On the day of installation, DAS showed up on time as planned. All shutters on all of my windows were installed by one guy which only took 2.5 hours. Unbelievable. I don't know how he did it all by himself. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience for hurricane shutter installation. I highly recommend these guys.

They even worked with me to install the doors I wanted, even though I did not purchase the doors from them. They installed all the windows and doors in one day. Three trucks and at least 6 employees. They sent back one installer the following day to install the window sills. I could not be happier. Other than some dust (expected) you would never even know they were here. They cleaned up every bit of scrap and removed the old windows, screens and frames. The employees could not have been nicer (even with my non-existent Spanish). I HIGHLY recommend this company if you are thinking about doing your doors and windows
