Last night I was traveling back from NC to VA and after making a really sharp turn my car all of a…read moresudden wouldn't accelerate. It starting shaking and jerking and felt like it was going to die every time I stopped. When this started we were on a back country road in the middle of no where around 7pm. I prayed to make it back to the main highway. However we were 20 miles to the nearest auto anything. I decide to drive the 20 miles but extremely slow with hazard lights on. We make it to this Autozone and a young lady greets us immediately. I explain to her what happens and she does a check engine light read. The code reads I had a cylinder misfiring. As we are talking about what I need a gentlemen walks in and she greets him (he appears to be a regular). She asks him what he needs and I think he said he was looking for the same part that I needed for my car. She ask him to take a look at my car and he graciously did. As you can imagine I am super stressed about getting back to Va safely and thinking there is no where to get my car fixed this time of night and I'm in a town I know nothing about. The gentlemen takes one glance and says yes it more than likely is the ignition coil. He said wait a minute I might have 1. I told him well if it's not the right one not to worry about it I can get one out the store. He pulls one out and I ask does it fit for a Toyota. He gets this little grin on his face and turns it towards me and guess what it says-- Toyota. Now I don't know care what you want to call it, luck, fate or a blessing but I do believe all of us were meant to cross paths last night. He fixed my car on the spot. I asked to pay him but I could tell he didn't want anything. I wasn't going to leave without giving him something. I was so happy to get back on the road to home that I didn't catch either of their names. So to the lady who was working at about 7:30 pm on March 23 thank you for your help and asking the gentlemen to help. To the gentlemen who came in the store, your my "auto angel". thank you for taking the time to help a stressed stranger in need. My family made it home safely and my old betsy Toyota rode perfectly smoothly all the way home!!!

After running all over town I finally found new bolts. Found out they are selling the place so of course, they don't give a flip about their work. Avoid!!!

New to the area and took our vehicle here on a recommendation. We should have been more diligent,…read morebut it's hard starting over with a reliable mechanic. Wanted to love this place, but after taking in our vehicle with a sudden loss of brakes and paying $350+ for a brake line repair that supposedly "fixed" a corrosion issue, only to have to return within 6 weeks (so scary) with NO brakes and then be told after several hours-deep labor that they again found corrosion on another brake line and were now gonna order a "kit" online to replace the corroded brake line AFTER they had already spent hours trying to do a work-around, I can only find words to express our disappointment. Labor was reduced, but not enough to take ownership of their "miss" and even still with a cost of almost $1100 for the 2nd repair, as well as $350 for the 1st repair. So yeah, I question their competency, why the original mechanic didn't check BOTH brake lines and take notice of the corrosion prior to the brakes failing?! It only stands to reason that if one was corroded, perhaps check the other, right? And why did the 2nd repair have 3 hours labor in BEFORE noting the corrosion issue wasn't repairable without ordering the manufacturer's kit?! One of two things occurred... Either incompetentcy or we were gouged!! Not sure it much matters, because neither leaves a customer feeling warm and comfy or want to return.
