I had already booked a loaner vehicle, yet I was told I was "lucky" they had one available, making it feel like they were doing me a favor rather than providing a service I had arranged. Communication throughout the service process was practically nonexistent. When my vehicle was ready, I asked if they could please drop it off for me and gave them the address to my job. I was told around 8:30 a.m. that they could. At approximately 11:45 a.m., I was told someone was on their way. By 2:00 p.m., my vehicle was being dropped off at a completely different location than expected, with no proper communication about the situation. (I felt it was taking a little long so I tracked it.) To make matters worse, the porter was driving my vehicle with 0% fuel remaining. When I brought it to his attention, his response was, "The engine will be fine, it's a newer car." That response was completely unacceptable and showed a lack of care and professionalism toward someone else's property. Mistakes and delays can happen, but poor communication, a lack of courtesy, and a dismissive attitude on repeat are choices. I should not have to chase down updates, wonder where my vehicle is being taken, or feel uncomfortable bringing legitimate concerns to the attention of the staff. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. Romeo Ford needs to do a much better job with customer communication, professionalism, and basic customer care. I expected better and would think twice before returning.

Suburban Ford of Romeo - Acorns and Nuts Stuck in the intake, they removed these after they delivered the vehicle to me.

The mileage was higher than I'd like but the F150 Lariat was too good to pass up. I spoke with Mike and set up an appointment for a certain time and day and Jessica emailed me that the truck would be ready for my review and test drive upon my arrival. Wednesday rolled around and we left Waterford for Washington knowing we'd have a 45 minutes drive to the dealership. I brought my girlfriend along anticipating that she would drive my vehicle home after we made the deal on the truck. I had emailed Mike at 8am that morning that I would see him around 11:30am. When we arrived, we were guided to a waiting area and met by Mike who offered us coffee or water and asked if I had checked my text messages. I hadn't as I was in the process of tying down things at home before we left. Mike casually mentioned that the truck was sold the evening before and that he texted me of that fact. I would have expected a phone call and voicemail rather than the text at the very least. I asked why it was sold when it was on hold for me. He explained that used vehicles are not their "bread and butter" and are sold on a first come, first served basis. Mike was very nonchalant about the matter and changed the conversation to my price range and vehicle preferences. Was I open to look at other trucks - which I was at that point. He showed me four other possibilities but, oh! Unfortunately, although they all had "hold" on them had been sold. Classic "Bait and Switch!" He offered to look for other vehicles and call me when they showed up. I told him flatly to forget it and walked out. Now that's what I call customer service. Not!! Suburban anything will never see my business again.
