My weekend car was sent here for a PPF when I purchased it. They did an OK job, I just didn't like the gap on the install. Here are the things that went wrong:In 2023, I took my commuter car to get the headlights, hood, front quarter panels, A pillars and the front of the roof PPF'd. The PPF on the headlights started lifting the August of 2023. July 22, 2025 I took my car back to TST after a brief bumper rub with another vehicle. It was a hot day, so according to Paul, they just started to remove the PPF by hand without applying steam. They not only ripped the paint from the bumper, but Paul kept asking if my car has been re-sprayed. I repeatedly told him I bought the car brand new. After a several rounds of back and forth, they decided to be fair and took the car over to a small body shop where the conclusion was it was most likely due to the bumper rub. Paul also refused to pay for the damage while leaving minor scratches on the door. Attached is the picture. Now I will be paying $1,300 to get this paint damage repaired.

I stopped by…read moreto check my Audi as the engine light turned on, the older lady (not gonna mention names out of respect even though they don't deserve it) asked for my ID and hand me the device, literally less than 5 min later while in my car with the device connected and waiting for it to read an older man stepping out not even wearing a shirt indicating that he works there yelling at me that there're other people waiting for it, I asked for a couple of more minutes and never the less as soon as he walked in the lady is walking out with my ID screaming at me that they "know what I'm doing" and it's illegal to erase codes (I don't even know how to do it but I guess it's an on going thing) throwing my ID at me and very violently pulling and disconnecting the cord out of my vehicle that got wrapped around my leg and literally physically hurt me. I was in shock of course for a few seconds sitting in my car, then I called the headquarters main office to report the horrific incident. I got a call back a few hours later from a nice young man that apologized and explained that the lady just had a bad day as her cat died and that she will contact me to apologize. I'm still waiting on that call and of course no compensation was provided either. I'm So disappointed as it was my neighborhood auto parts store I was shopping at all the time and obviously will not go back there again and will probably just shop at Auto zone. I went to purchase black latex gloves, as you can see in pic below, the are priced $24.99. When it's time to purchase the gloves, the employee stated the gloves are $34.99. I explained to him every glove in that section is priced at $24.99. He wouldn't honor the displayed price and would rather keep $10 versus keeping a customer. Unbelievable! Since COVID, based on their price, these particular gloves jumped $20. I will be taking my business to Advanced Auto.

Once they got to the back wiper, they told me I had bought the incorrect type of wiper, so I needed to return them. So we go inside and the worker didn't know how to do a return either. I understand he may be new, but I would imagine training would include how to process a return. They ended up not having the rear wiper I needed and recommended I go to the Bolingbrook location or they could have it delivered to that store. At that point, I had been there for at least 20 minutes, so I decided to just go home. I just wish I had better assistance.

You don't want to go too cheap on your car if you use it everyday. I also bought the Duralast gold brake pads and rotors from here. Those will last you longer than the cheap ones. The service here is good. Everyone was friendly. They were able to remove and replace my car battery. I saw they can also test your battery and check your engine light.

On Friday Oct 11 I called and asked if they would turn 4 rotors for me on Sat. They told me yes. I brought the rotors in at 8am as they suggested. The gentlemen behind the counter told me NO. They would not be able to turn them. I explained to them I called earlier, was told they would and how I need them. When I returned later they were UGLY. "That will be $90." Inner surface not cleaned for a good seat on the lathe (produce runout), EVERY rotor had LOTS of rust remaining. I asked for a micrometer and measured them. The front were still .050 from min while the rears were .030 from min. WHY DID THEY WASTE MY TIME AND PRODUCE JUNK? Now I was faced with waiting for 2 more days until the rotors would be available. Guess they taught me never to have rotors turned. I went elsewhere to buy new rotors.
