Yesterday after testing the battery and determining that it was still healthy, one of their staff jumped my car, tested the alternator, and finally removed and replaced the battery terminal bolt that was causing the poor connection. Not only did this completely solve the problem I've been having with starting my car, they didn't even charge me! O'Reilly's saw me a few too many times yesterday. I don't mind using after market parts on my older…read morevehicles definitely when many are covered by a lifetime warranty. It's a no brainer for me. Everyone at this store was helpful both on the phone and in person. I called for an oil pressure sensor, the switch socket (ended up having to come back for this because the one I had prior to this did not fit correctly) and also had them test my alternator for a separate issue to see if I needed to have that traded out under my warranty. Thankfully they had everything I needed and my alternator was fine. I'll figure out the codes pulling up on my scanner regarding the alternator at a later time. The store is well organized. The team working there are all great. Trust, I spoke or interacted with several these past few days.
