The level of service I received was amazing. I came to buy windshield wipers and they were on sale. Woot woot. When I arrived, I was greeted by 2 really friendly employees who opened both doors for me. (A girl could get used to this) The manager helped me select wipers for my car, and another employee put them on for me. It was raining and I offered to wait until it died down so he wouldn't have to install them in the rain. He didn't want me to wait so he took care of it right away. I had time to spare, but was grateful. My process was seamless and the staff was beyond friendly. We met a regional manager out front who chatted me up while my wipers were installed. As if my experience wasn't enough, they had a special event going with a petting zoo, bounce house, local radio station and food. If I ever need auto parts, THIS is my place. Keep up the great work! The…read moreprocess of scheduling the appointment took about 35 minutes as nobody answered the phone and I had to repeatedly call back to schedule. Once I finally got the car in the communication was poor it seems the service advisor wanted to just state random things rather than actually discussing with the tech what was going on. I was told at one point the car wasn't even touched yet and told 35 minutes later the car was actually already complete. Now for the poor aspects. I came in for a safety recall on my sunroof and my sunroof had previously had a "close sunroof" error message. Mercedes refused to work on the recall and attempted to sell me on a $250 diag to see what the issue was so they could complete the recall. I of course declined and am in the process of working directly with the manufacturer on the issue. Now here is the real kicker i am not a mechanic nor a technician I have never owned a Mercedes in my life. It took me 30 seconds with a single Allen key to fix the issue with the sunroof after a quick google search. Not only did Mercedes not even attempt to do this INCREDIBLY SIMPLE fix they were going to allow the vehicle to continue to be unsafe on the road due to the fact they refused the recall. I work at a dealer which is why this was such a perturbing interaction our service department would never attempt to charge a dime if the fix was such a common and simple process especially if there was a safety recall involved. My service advisor needs to work on their communication skills as well you should have up to date info when speaking to a customer and not just assume. I cannot stress enough how predatory the practice they were attempting to pull is. I will come back and have my recall fixed but lord I would never in a million years take my car here for service if you can even call it that. I would heavily recommend independent shops like Rocco's and Solo MotorSports if you are trying to get good service and not just get bent for $$.

That being said, once I decided to take my career path toward the corporate world, you would think that I would not go back to Honda Carland or its Service Center, and you'd be wrong. Again, I know what quality is when it comes to having your Honda and Acura repaired, because of my experience. Yes, I do my own oil changes, but I still need to visit the dealer for my company car, where I could choose ANY Honda dealer in the Atlanta area. Knowing what I know, I willingly choose to have my car(s) serviced by the Service Center because I trust the technicians working there having worked with them in the past. No, I don't get preferential treatment. No, I don't get discounts. No, I wasn't asked to post this. I am not a shill for Honda Carland, and never will be. I get the feeling that the bad reviews here are people who take their cars to Pep Boys and expect dealership quality.
