The woman working there was extremely rude, dismissive, and clearly didn't want to help us. She denied our loan for a reason that no other ACE location has ever required (sharing a phone number), even though we had all the proper documents. To make it worse, she was selling those charity chocolate bars that are supposed to cost $1 each, but she literally marked out the "1" and wrote a "2" on the box. Pretty shady considering those are meant to raise money for kids, not for her personal tip jar. We ended up going to another ACE location nearby that processed everything correctly without issue. Avoid this one -- unprofessional and sketchy behavior.

Refinanced loan online could not read the fine print because it was too small. Thought it said…read moreregular payments of $194.59 every 2 weeks or 52 payments. When my next payment came around it was the same payment of $194.59 so thought I had clicked on regular payments. I continued to make my payments on time for 12 payments before I check to see what my balance was. When I checked my balance it said it had only gone down $500, when I had already paid in over $2,500 in payments. When I went into the store to talk to customer service the lady told me I had signed up for 52 payments of $194.59. which meant I was being charged over $6,000 in interest. This is a warning to make sure you read the fine print carefully before you sign.

I've been going to Central Finance since maybe…read morearound 2003, when it used to be on the other side of the shopping center and I've worked my way up to the max of $1,500 and made my payments and paid it off and hardly late but I always paid the fee if any. Usually around Xmas time I take out the max and around income tax I always paid it off, then in summer of 2023 I called to see if I can just borrow $500 and they put me on hold after taking my information and then another girl gets on and she says she the manager and very snotty she says they are unable to help me and I ask why and at that time I was in between jobs so I take it they ran my credit and was like okay I get it but why be snotty about it and I ask again who she was and she kept say I'm the manager and I finally ask for her name and she said Veronica and I just hung up and left it like that... Today I called because something unexpected happened and well I printed out my check stubs and was ready to give all my updated information, but when someone answers and I explain I'm needing to reopen a loan that I had for years and she tells me that I called less then 6 mos ago and if I'm sure if I want to try again and I told her yes then she puts me on hold then here comes the manager on the phone telling me I'm denied because my credit wasn't good and I told her yeah I know my credit isn't good but I always had called in the past and they would tell me to take in my pay stubs showing proof I'm still working and current utility bill proving where I live and with the same snotty attitude says they are finance with the bank and that's how they get their money. I didn't want to get into with her because she sounded the same snotty Veronica I spoke to months back, it's a shame that I've been doing business here for years and seen so many little girls come and go and wasn't hard for me to get money because I build my history with them but I guess that doesn't matter here but what's makes me angry that they are not professional at all about it and have a shitty attitude, well glad I was able to get help from another company that I build history the same time as I did with this company.
