ZERO STARS!! I've been going to Central Finance since maybe around 2003, when it used to be on the other side of the shopping center and I've worked my way up to the max of $1,500 and made my payments and paid it off and hardly late but I always paid the fee if any. Usually around Xmas time I take out the max and around income tax I always paid it off, then in summer of 2023 I called to see if I can just borrow $500 and they put me on hold after taking my information and then another girl gets on and she says she the manager and very snotty she says they are unable to help me and I ask why and at that time I was in between jobs so I take it they ran my credit and was like okay I get it but why be snotty about it and I ask again who she was and she kept say I'm the manager and I finally ask for her name and she said Veronica and I just hung up and left it like that... Today I called because something unexpected happened and well I printed out my check stubs and was ready to give all my updated information, but when someone answers and I explain I'm needing to reopen a loan that I had for years and she tells me that I called less then 6 mos ago and if I'm sure if I want to try again and I told her yes then she puts me on hold then here comes the manager on the phone telling me I'm denied because my credit wasn't good and I told her yeah I know my credit isn't good but I always had called in the past and they would tell me to take in my pay stubs showing proof I'm still working and current utility bill proving where I live and with the same snotty attitude says they are finance with the bank and that's how they get their money. I didn't want to get into with her because she sounded the same snotty Veronica I spoke to months back, it's a shame that I've been doing business here for years and seen so many little girls come and go and wasn't hard for me to get money because I build my history with them but I guess that doesn't matter here but what's makes me angry that they are not professional at all about it and have a shitty attitude, well glad I was able to get help from another company that I build history the same time as I did with this company. read more

I would give these friends a 0 right now, feelings are hurt major, they are stealing major from me, talking me into renewing my $350 loan so I can pay on another date? They should not communicate in confusing ways to their customers, I am a sophmore of UMass Global majoring in business. I borrowed $350, have been late monthly a little with the four payments a month I have made. I have paid $200 according to my bank statements in four months on a $350 loan. They offer to "renew" my loan which is a trick for me to owe them $350 more as I get no new money from them, just a fun rip off for them nothing in it for me. So now after $200 paid on a simple $350 loan they want $450 more! Make sense to you? Do not do business with these people, they are lying, deceiving , tricking, stealing, blaming me for them deceiving me charging me double when all I ever got from them is $350! This place is a great credit builder. They will give you like 25 or 50 bucks guaranteed even with no credit check if they still do that. i started that years ago. they'll give you regular increases after that and report it to your credit. one thing i love is they are very fliexible. they'll hold off a payment if your behind with no penalties. they have a habit of trying to what i think they call restructure your loan which is basically them paying off your loan and loaning you what you had left or somethign like that. its saved me a few times though read more
