Was greeted warmly and she readily complied with my request. Sold, no hassle just friendly customer service. I then asked about opening a checking account. She responded professionally and alerted the appropriate person. The manager greeted me, introduced herself and explained a customer swap due to expertise and then introduced me to the person who would open my account. Again all professional and friendly. BEST PART - Most favorable terms of all the banks I researched in Bradenton. Low amount needed to open and maintain the account. Online statements waives the $2 monthly fee. Plus free use of other ATM's as long as it's part of a network which they clearly explained. Very pleased with my initial experience and don't expect things to change.

Blake went on to say, they go through these "precautionary measures" to everyone who isn't a member at their bank, but there were nothing wrong with the checks, I feel racially profiled when I come into this establishment just because I am black, there was a 15$ check cashing fee as well and I asked, "why is it 15$" and Kelly replied with "because we're offering you a service" a service of what? Giving me a hard time because of my skin color?, This is your job it's what you get paid to do, you weren't doing me a service you were doing your job, so in conclusion, stay away from this bank far-away, you might aswell cash your checks at Amscot, you'll save $ and won't feel like you're being racially profiled.

I waited quite a while. When it was finally my turn, I asked for a simple business document to be notarized. It was frustrating to be made to wait while staff focused on printing for someone else and then told they couldn't help me. With his wonderful customer service, attention to detail, and handling any issues that had arisen, David was exceptional. Now, how the bank brand is against competition; after 40 plus years with being a long and dedicated commercial and personal bank, I'm closing out my account and leaving for good. Trustco has become a dinosaur in this sector and to antiquated for my family moving forward. It's a sad day knowing how long I've been a Trustco customer and business friend.
