Service tech was Outstanding, however they charge $59.00 just to check your system then $150.00 to reset the door bell camera because you changed wi-Fi providers less than 2 years into your contract REALLY! CALLED SEVERAL TIMES!! adt+ is the most scandalous company i have ever had the displeasure of working with! they are completely unethical and lied to me repeatedly!! 5 MONTHS OF NONE STOP PROBLEMS!!!! i was lied to during the sales process by Gregory mills using extravagant scare tactics and told i would have to call their "video guy" for video surveillance. Turns out there is no video guy he just said that so it would be outside of my ability to get financing and i would have to pay out of pocket!! the system is garbage and does not work at all!!! they installed my doorbell wrong intentionally so I would have to pay for them to fix it!! the sensors FALL off repeatedly all the time!!! THE BASE IS FAULTY AND CONSTANTLY SAYS IT IS OFFLINE!!! i called to cancel as they claim to have 6-month money-back guarantee which they refused to cancel and keep stretching out this timeline deliberately refusing to remedy these issues!!! I have called off work several times to accommodate their tech - 1 of which said he did not have the time to fix my sensors!?!?!?!?!? are you serious?!?!?!?!!? NOT TO MENTION I FOUND OUT TODAY I WAS MISLED MADE TO SIGN DOCUMENTS SAYING I WAS HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE! The business is unreliable and frankly a bunch of liars. Signed up with them on August 11,2025. They took $179.00 for activation and $63.99 for the monthly payment. Had the equipment removed and returned on the 14th of August because it ended up costing another $300.00 times 3 in payments. So, $900.00 on top on a $1,000 voucher for being a new homeowner. Needless to say here it is the 28th of October and still getting the run around why my money hasn't been refunded. I'm very very unhappy with the company thinking that it was going to be reliable and safe. Crooks! I keep calling....they keep giving me the same song and dance! I very rarely make a purchase without looking at reviews but ADT has such great name recognition and a solid reputation that I did not do my research. That was my first mistake! I talked to 3 different agents before committing to the service and each quoted me a different price including the agent that was dispatched from the website, who after looking at the proposal that was given to me said he couldn't honor it and left. The installer/agent sent me an electronic copy of a contract that was not covered In its entirety And after going back through it, there were important points that should have been highlighted. He also made recommendations about placement of sensors, cameras and doorbells that were not in good judgement. Since my installation, less than 2 weeks ago,I have a hard wired doorbell camera that is inoperable, wireless sensors that have fallen off and a company that is impossible to reach. I rarely write a negative review, but it takes a culture of indifference to get service like this at so many different levels. ADT no longer values its reputation or the people they serve. read more

Alex, the ADT tech, provided us with plenty of suggestions of security options and did not try to sell us things we did not need or want. I would never consider alarm service with adt again. i would give them a half star rating. they are not responsible for the service agreement that their sales representives make. they sold me sevice for 27.99 a month. after I told them that I did not have land line. They insisted that they could let me have that 27.99 price, so I accepted it. On the day of installation they told me that I could not have that price,after installing the system. I felt that they were being dishonest with me. I told them to remove their system,and reconnect my pre existing. they had totally destroyed my system and claimed no responsibility for doing so . read more

This is the worst alarm company imaginable. I wish I could give minus stars 12 years ago I purchased their system. over 8 yesrs ago I ceased my service with this company (due to difficulty with the equipment). They said had purchased the equipment and would not remove it but would turn off my service. It has been a nightmare ever since. Periodically the equipment chirps. I call company they said it is not our equipment. Yes it is!! I hit the reset button several times and the chirping stops...for several days. It usually starts chirping in middle of night. I go to keypad in kitchen and reset. I have been doing this for 8 years I have been told there is a box and plug in but have also searched for 8!years and cannot find it. They have no record of where it is located. It may be in attic. My attic is not tall enough to stand in, I cannot crawl due to 2 knee replacements! Today to stop chirping I hit reset and alarm went off. I called ADT and they gave me emergency shut down code that at least stop the blaring alarm. Again I begged them to come out to disable the equipment. Again they said it is my equipment and they do not come out when service is discontinued Beware. If you ever get their service you can Never terminate it or your life will forever more will be a living hell due to their equipment and their refusal to shut it off!!!!!! read more
