Her help with floral arrangements for a brunch was remarkable and the result was perfect. It is rare these days to get this kind of service and this, combined with the magnificent flowers they always seem to have available, make it a pleasure to shop there. This definitely has become my "go to" place for flowers and gifts.

Amazing experience once again, Kyle never disappoints! I unfortunately procrastinated in buying…read moreflowers for Mother's Day and reached out to Kyle on Friday evening requesting a beautiful-full arrangement. Knowing this weekend would be very busy for him and his staff, I suggested picking up at a later date. He was swift in his responce, requesting details on how I would like the arrangement & followed up with confirmation of having everything prepared for Mother's Day (Sunday) 3pm pickup! Always extremely helpful & understanding. I absolutely love Kyle's arrangements, as the flowers always last far beyond other suppliers I've tried. They're all the more special as he seems to design each bouquet in layers. On pickup you'll have an already bloomed set of beautiful flowers which last at roughly 6-7 days, the filler is accompanied by unbloomed buds which tend to blossom after 5-7 days of pickup. This bouquet appears to have a third layer of unbloomed lilies which I assume will blossom within a few days as well. Where a typical bouquet is thrown out after a week, Kyle's arrangements always last a minimum of two weeks! I will continue to be loyal to Growers Flowers. Without fail, an amazing experience time & time again.

Ordered flowers for mothers day delivery - however, they weren't delivered until the next morning…read more I left both a voice mail and an email on Sunday (as it was now 6pm and I was increasingly worried they weren't going to arrive). The flowers did eventually arrive sometime after 5:30pm Sunday and before 8am on Monday). I received a follow up email simply stating "We have a confirmation from our delivery driver that it was delivered on Sunday at 9:21am, and left at the front door. Address..." Was very disappointed they were a day late and there was no ownership. The flowers were beautiful but I won't be ordering again - especially for an additional $25.00 for a day late....

Maple Garden Florist and Gift Shop is a small family run business in East Chinatown. It's part…read moreflorist and part aquarium shop. They sell flowers, a fair range of plants and aquarium related items inside the store in the back. I normally come here for the flowers and the value is amazing. I recently bought some orchids for $20 plus tax when every other florist sells the same flowers for $40 and up which is incredibly cheap and nothing is wrong with the flowers, they are freshly cut. The store is pretty simple and staff are fairly knowledgeable and more or less a basic no frills type of place. The reason I don't give a higher rating is because quite a few times I have been there, the service can be quite unfriendly, maybe it's just their interactions with me. I haven't checked out the aquarium but if you are a guy looking to buy flowers for a date, significant other or anyone in general, this place has outstanding value. Take the money you will save and use it to add to a nice dinner date.

This is the place you want to be buying your flowers from. As a person who now realizes how much…read moreflowers cost, I refuse to buy from supermarkets where there's no one really concerned with freshness. We're talking about sitting flowers in dirty water. The difference is flowers that last 3 days versus 7 to 10 days, for a 10% difference in cost. Here's the scoop on what I've gathered so far. A friend of mine told me about "Sara Flowers". Basically, she's the go to person in Toronto for flowers. If you're looking for someone who knows their stuff and has talent and is still affordable despite the hype. When I visited, I chatted with her and she's done stuff like Rob Ford funeral, stores like LV, restos like Kasa Motto, Chase, etc. I went in and basically said do what you think is right, after giving her some general instructions, and watching her work, she really is brilliant. In terms of the actual store itself, I was really impressed at the stuff they're carrying. There's a large retail front selling house items, and gift items. Very cool stuff actually. The card section is excellent. Hilarious actually. Everyone's got succulents, but these guys also carry coral cactus (the only store in Toronto I've seen so far). They also carry Parkhill Candles (really hard to find, but excellent) and at a cheaper price than I paid in the U.S. Other cool things as well if you're looking for gift ideas. Overall, this place is worth the drive for me. Flowers are expensive, but at least I don't feel ripped off here. I feel like i'm getting my money's worth here. p.s Tip - there are Yelp check in discounts available.

Avoid this place at all costs…read more I ordered a bouquet of tulips for my wife for Valentine's Day. I get that it is a super busy day of the year and I get that it is impossible to provide a set delivery time. However I have experienced multiple issues from this store. Let's first talk about value. The website allows one to "upsize" for a larger more expansive bouquet. Well I ordered the "best". What I received would never qualify for "best" under any scenario. Below are pictures from their website of their "best" offer and what I received instead. What a ripoff!!! Let's next highlight service. I had not received the flowers by 5.30pm. I called the store to ask when the delivery would be happening. I was told that the driver was out with the delivery and that it would be "very soon". 2 hours later the flowers were still not here so I called again and was again told that the driver was out and was maybe "20 minutes away". After challenging the person on the phone I was told that it "might be up to an hour" depending on the traffic. And for clarity we live WITHIN 10 MINUTES of the store. Well it took another 1.5 hours for the delivery to occur and when it did happen it was delivered by a guy in a sedan car - who would have had space only for about 4-5 bouquets. So it was never possible that my order was out for delivery as originally suggested. Brutal experience!!!! Will never recommend this place
