The pizza is so good!! It's crispy and LOADED with toppings. We always order the Meat Lover's and it is always stacked with meat. The pizza looks thick but the crust is thin and crispy, the rest of the weight comes from all toppings. So yummy, wish I lived closer. The workers are always nice and the wait isn't too bad. Came in for lunch and my wife and I got the 1/2 order of Lasagna and cheese Ravioli, salad and soup. For half size, VERY large portions, very well prepared and sauces on both were very well done. We came here on a Sunday afternoon. My parents and son wanted something else, but my husband wanted to try this place. We placed an order for an 8" pizza and a half and half of spaghetti and lasagna. We were told it would take about 15-20 mins for our order and since my husband ordered a beer he couldn't leave the restaurant with it. I took a seat at the tables for dine in with my husband and my Dad walks in with his left overs from the other restaurant they ate at and a young woman rudely tells us that there is no outside food allowed. This is understandable, but there's no need to be rude about it because 1. THERE WERE NO SIGNS SO HOW WOULD WE KNOW THIS and 2. WE JUST SPENT $30 AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. Her lack of tact prompted me to go outside to find a table before I went off on her because by this point, 20 mins already passed and we still didn't get our food and the audacity to be so rude when you're already providing sub par service is just ignorant. My husband had to stay in the restaurant while he finished his beer and this same rude young woman approached him basically asking if we're going to be occupying the table/dining in because there were other people who wanted to dine in. My husband a little taken back just told her that he was just finishing his beer and he'll be taking our food to go since they basically kicked us out. I'm pretty irritated at this point so I check how long we've been waiting for our food (my son called me after we ordered and I text my husband right before he came out of the restaurant to meet us outside) and we waited 30 minutes!! We waited 30 minutes to get our food, got treated poorly and here's the kicker.....the food was NOT GOOD AT ALL!! Had the food been delicious or even "okay" I wouldn't have been complied to write this lengthy review, but you cannot drop the ball on all fronts. Pick a struggle. You can't provide poor customer service, take forever to cook the food, AND have the food not taste good. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I will definitely not be coming back here. read more

This place has an owner who has no consideration on a big family group. All we want is to enjoy a nice lunch together. They had no coffee but yet it's on the menu so I went next door to buy one and came back to eat lunch with my family. While we sit to wait on our order we have employees coming to us because we can't sit together as a family with more than 4 adults. Once again the employees come to us and tell us we can't drink outside drinks in the restaurant due to covid! That's the most absurd thing I've heard I was only drinking a coffee from next door because they didn't have any to begin with! It was very rude and annoying thing to have been told to leave when we just wanted to enjoy this time that we don't get very often to be out as a family. Out of the group only two of us had to leave because we had an outside coffee from next door. RUDE! A star simply because I had to select one.. I would give it none I it was an option. Terrible service. My husband was accused of an "altercation", because he scribbled on the receipt when signing an asked the cashier for another one, she alleged that he threw it at her. Which he did not, simply pushed it back towards her. The girl was clearly having a bad day because she had an attitude from the beginning. What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't have olive oil? My daughter's and her friends love buttered pasta with olive oil and fresh garlic. They only have butter here according to the man at the register, no olive oil. What! Aren't some pizzas finished with olive oil? Thought olive oil was an Italian staple. Gluten-free crust has changed, it used to be yummy now it tastes like cardboard. Although I think mine was over cooked this time. The guy at the register asked my friend if she had cash. My friend and I always go to the sushi place when we have a day out at the Viejas outlet. Since we had sushi the night before I suggested we try something different. Our choices, were Rubio's, always my favorite, Adriano's, or KFC. Since I'd rather starve than eat KFC, we chose Adriano's. As we went inside, I was a little intimidated by what I saw. The cashier and some big guy were standing by the cash register staring at us. Neither one greeted us. Here's where I should say the counter was REALLY high. I had to look up at them to place my order. So we walked up to the counter and placed our orders. I was in the mood for a sandwich so I ordered the Capacola with Provolone. My friend, petite as she is, ordered a half and half of lasagna and spaghetti. When the orders came out, we were pleasantly surprised. My sandwich was stuffed with lots of Capacola ham and a slice of provolone cheese. The lettuce was thinly shredded and there was an italian relish that put it over the top. The best part about the sandwich was the toasted roll. The tastes and flavors measured up to my expectations. My friends plate of food was enormous. The spaghetti was oozing over the side and the mound of lasagna looked brilliant. Her order came with a basket of garlic bread that really didn't matter. It was garlic bread, end of story. The half and half, however, was cooked perfectly and the sauce was to die for. It was meaty and had just the right consistency. I tried a few bites, there was no way my petite friend was going to finish it all, and instantly fell in love with this place. I would order any pasta item off the menu if it came with that same sauce. Outstanding!! Why not 5 stars you may be asking? The intimidating way I felt upon entering the restaurant. This place has it all! Friendly customer service, nice warm atmosphere and homemade delicious Italian food. I had the soup and salad lunch special and the Italian dressing is the best. Their homemade split pea soup was very fresh and tasty. The kids had pepperoni and cheese pizza which was amazing. The crust tasted homemade and the mozzarella cheese tasted better than any ordinary pizza. Even the red pepper tasted like they added something special to the jar. The garlic bread was a nice added touch. We will definitely be back for more! read more

My wife and I came and asked questions to the cashier regarding if they used peanuts because my wife has a severe peanut allergy and she was very rude , we asked for her to check the bread label and she refused and had the odacedy to say that our service dog wasn't allowed on her premesis until we told her about service dog rights. Little that we knew that she was the manager which is even worst, who would in their state right of mind would promote a person like that with no qualifications. I've been here a couple of times in the last couple weeks and was happy they had good pizza at the outlets. We all got our own small pizzas and they were hot, fresh and cheesy. The crust was soft and crisp in all the right places. Don't forget to order your ranch with the meal, they give a nice sized portion for the full pizza. read more

I just stopped at Adriano's Pizza Grotto for lunch since I was near by working. I ordered meat sauce lasagna to go. I thought it was strange how quick it was prepared, but oh well. When I opened and start eating it, what a disappointment. It was cold and there were only a few chunks of meat here and there and the cheese wasn't even melted. The sauce on it was definitely from those giant jars from Costco stores. I don't recommend this place for anyone. If you spent $8 dollars on a piece of lasagna, it must be a good piece of lasagna. We ordered a meat lovers pizza, pepperoni pizza, small salad & an order of half ravioli & half lasagna. The salad was ok. The pizza was good, it had meatballs, sausage, pepperoni & Canadian bacon, except it was a bit messy as a blanket of cheese covered it. When you grabbed a slice, all the cheese & meat would pull off. The crust was crunchy. The lasagna was tasty, the ravioli a bit chewy & the meat sauce that covered both had a bitter taste- as if it had been burned. Our pizza was made fresh & our wait time was about 15 minutes. It was empty when we arrived but within minutes, 3 other groups came in. Their wait time was about the same. I know we won't return because it's off the main grid & if we did I would only order pizza. Ordered a large half cheese and pepperoni for my kids. Was pleasantly surprised. The dough was delicious -not too thick and not too thin with a nice crispy rustic edge. Plenty of cheese on it. Was over all delicious. Sauce they use was good as well. I could tell cheese was excellent quality. I would definitely be a repeat customer if I wasn't just visiting here. Try this out. Also customer service was good . We got there near closing time and the gentleman that helped me was older and had glasses. May have been owner, I thought I was going to get that we are closing etc you have to order or go. But he said I could have ordered when he was closed and he would not turn anyone away. Walk in through the front door and it looks like a normal hole in the wall... that's because it is... The menu is up high on the wall in huge letters. Very classy. The menu is small. I didn't see anything special. We ordered a 12' inch pepperoni pizza. It came out about 20 minutes later. We sat ourselves in the very small dining area and looked around for a little while. There was dried food stuck to one of the forks. Mmm... appetizing. One of the guys came over with the soup of the day "On the house". It was Split Pea. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. My daughter, who usually loves split pea, wouldn't eat it. The pizza came, you can tell that it's all home made. However, "Well Made" and "Home Made" are different. Just make whatever you're doing crooked and HEY! It's home made. The sauce lacked flavor. The pepperoni was stacked so thick on the pizza that if you bit into a slice if fell completely apart. The crust was pretty good. Lighter than most. Again, nothing special. If you're in the Outlets or the casino and are hard pressed for a pizza, by all means. Adriano's pizza crust is one of the best I've ever had. It's not your typical Pizza Hut or Domino's crust. It's like a thick, crispy, chewy flat bread. I'm not usually a fan of cold pizza, but their stuff tastes good the next day, straight out of the refrigerator. I tried their Caesar salad last time, and it was also delicious. I love how everything tastes so fresh. That's because everything is made fresh - you can watch them make it while you wait. Hands down, this is the best place to eat in the entire outlet/casino area. It has a soda machine cups are cheap and it is a great place to get lunch at!
