Servers here will not wait on you hand and foot nor will they at most any other local bar/tap, its just how it is. When you go to a place like this you should understand your visiting someone elses world for a bit, it's not McDonalds or a fancy Italian spot. If local dive culture is foriegn to you or you don't like it you will likely not like this spot. All that being said I found the somewhat aloof bartender and local regulars to be quite charming, reasonably attentive, and all very kind. I ordered some drinks and food, the food was suprisingly good for what you might expect when you arrive, and the drink was fine (just ordered a bottled beer or two). I feel like this place deserves more than a 3 star rating, but honestly I have a hard time saying that my experience was anything special or above being "okay". The accompanying green goddess dressing was a nice accompaniment, but even with that I was craving more flavor. The crispy tenkasu provided a nice texture contrast. -- The Australian Wagyu Hanger is supposed to be served medium rare but the steak I received was very undercooked, making the dish pretty chewy and unenjoyable. I called at 4:00 PM on October 3, 2026, and made a reservation for nine people at 5:15 PM. My sister and her family were in town for Parents Weekend at the University of Delaware, and since we had never been here before, we chose this restaurant because the menu appeared to offer options for everyone in our party. We arrived promptly at 5:15 PM, only to find that a private function was just wrapping up in the restaurant. There was no one at the hostess stand, so we had to ask multiple bartenders and servers if we were even at the correct entrance. When we finally located someone, I explained that we had a reservation, only to be told that there was no reservation in their system. The initial interaction with the hostess was extremely unpleasant. She grabbed the menus, threw them onto the table, and then walked away. She allowed a minute or so to pass before finally telling us that was our table. There was no greeting or acknowledgment when we were seated. Unfortunately, things got even worse. Once seated, we noticed that several of the menus were covered in what appeared to be mold. It was absolutely disgusting. At that point, we seriously considered getting up and leaving, but decided to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Ironically, the hostess ended up being our server, and from that point forward she was actually friendly and pleasant. We requested clean menus so that we could decide what to order, and eventually placed our order. Unfortunately, the food and service continued to be disappointing. It took quite a while for only part of our order to arrive, and we waited so long for the remaining food that most of our party was nearly finished eating by the time it arrived. My brother-in-law ordered a gyro and specifically requested extra tzatziki sauce. Our server returned and told him they had run out of tzatziki and handed him mayonnaise instead. Another member of our party ordered a grilled chicken Caesar wrap and found that there was barely any chicken in it. Her French fries were also served cold. The atmosphere was another major issue. There was a very strong smell of mold throughout the restaurant, which was extremely unpleasant. Then came the experience in the ladies' restroom, which was honestly beyond disgusting. The smell of mold was overwhelming. Several stalls had no toilet paper, one had a broken toilet seat, and another was visibly covered in feces. The stall I used had black mold covering part of the wall. At this point, I have to question the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the establishment. Mold-covered menus, a strong mold odor throughout the restaurant, and a restroom in that condition are simply unacceptable. To say this experience was disappointing would be an understatement. We came here expecting to enjoy a meal together while spending time with family, and instead left extremely disappointed and disgusted. I will never return to this establishment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Bardea was able to get an order in and out in like 10 minutes. Even weirder, comes the confusing part after Angelo's takes the pizza out of the oven. Twice, the pizza made it to a box, where employees stood over it, seemingly unsure of what to do. They appeared to be discussing it and even taking photos while the pizza just sat there getting cold, for several minutes. Is this an Instagram moment? I genuinely had no clue what was happening. By the time I finally received my order, the pizza was luke warm and the whole experience was frustrating. I have no interest dealing with whatever was happening here.
