We had a great time when we visited the 1100 social. They have awesome music that was playing outside that made my wife very happy and she dance they had statues in different memorabilia to see which I got to take pictures of and I enjoyed. There was a Phillies game going on right across the street to the place was really live in Poppin and we had a really fun time and they had drinks and appetizers and just a Lotta good fun was had

3 1/2 stars We stopped in here for dinner before a concert since it is right next to the Wells Fargo Center. The place is located inside Xfinity Live so it's great for dinner drinks before a show. They have a cool bar area and plenty of TVs located throughout the restaurant. Seating is great as you are not squished on top of each other so your table seems semi private. Our waitress was really nice and helpful. Noise level in the restaurant was perfect. Tip- If you have Ticketmaster tickets check for the 1/2 price appetizer coupon which is good here. We used it for two apps. It was great! Appetizers (Small Plates- good for two people) Tempura Rock Shrimp Satay had Creamy spicy sauce and pickled thai chili. These were REALLY good. Smothered Sweet Chili Chicken Quesadilla had Cheddar, napa cabbage, sour cream, sweet chili sauce. I really enjoyed this but the shrimp won me over. Dinner Loaded Nachos Tacos - two Pork carnitas, refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, crushed tortilla chips. I really enjoyed these although my sister said they were salty (I didn't notice). Crispy Fish Tacos- Tempura-battered black cod, pickled red cabbage with creamy chipotle sauce. Came with two. These were ok to me but my sister enjoyed them. I wish the food was hotter. It was not room temperature but close. Didn't really bother me much but I like it right off the stove. Food came out quick which was perfect since we had a concert to attend. My sister had two mixed drinks (about $14 a piece) but I only had a soda. Making a reservation was tough as my sister called a few times and I'm not even sure she ever made it or if we came during a slow moment. The manager gave us her card to make reservations easier. I prefer Opentable. Hopefully they are listed on there soon. I would definitely be back.

So Xfinity live is a weird place. You have girls dancing on a bar in assless chaps around a mechanical bull, you have vip bottle service booths, arcade games, some sort of live music situation, giant beer pong, and now (or soon- Grand Opening October 2nd)- a place to get quality Asian-Mexican small plates at a reasonable price and a drink that isn't an overpriced beer can. DRINKS: Tequila Old Fashioned is really good but not at all like an old fashioned. Chris the bartender was cool to chat with. $15 is a lot for a drink, but it was a really good drink and I've paid for $13 beers and concerts and been much less satisfied. The soju bourbon cocktail (blanking on the name) would be a good after dinner drink, a bit too boozy to start with. There were a few wines and beers listed too. There are also party buckets so that could be fun- could be good way to start off a birthday or Bachelorette followed by a concert, game, or bull riding contest. FOOD: We had 4 small plates between 2 people which was a good amount of food for just under $50 pre-tip. We really liked everything, and there were a few more we wanted to try. Tamarind ribs- You must get these. 3 juicy ribs in a sweet sauce, on a bed of pickled red onion, cilantro, radish and apple, topped with peanuts for a crunch. Favorite bite of the night. Corn- You must also get these. Charred, spicy mayo and cheese topped. A bit on the spicy side so be careful. Worth the mess. But maybe not if you're on a date. No one looks cute chowing down on corn and you'd need to byofloss after or you'd look like a carnie. Guac with pork belly, truffle, and kimchi- hefty sized portion, crispy chips, delicious. You should probably get this too. Not too spicy. Shrimp skewers- these were not our pick (we asked our awesome waiter Andre to surprise us) you get a few mini fried shrimp on a skewer (you get 2) topped with that same delicious spicy mayo as the corn and some red chilies. Also very good. SERVICE: This was soft opening so the waiters are still very new and getting used to everything...so we were the ones waiting. Some of the waiters and hostesses look straight out of high school and I hope they can handle the game day crowds. Can't speak to how the service will be because this wasn't a typical night, but everyone was very friendly. VIBE: Like I said Xfinity is a weird place. This place definitely classes up the complex, but the crowd it draws will be interesting (are the bros and woo girls going to embrace the small plates and fancy cocktails or go back to their Miller lites, fireball, and wings?). There's a bar inside and a bar that faces the outside of the restaurant (so you can see what's going on in the middle of Xfinity or avoid it). The music is odd for the place (because it's the music for Xfinity, not just the restaurant) and it can get a bit loud. There's a mix of high top and regular tables. Definitely check it out if you're in the area for a game and want to have a quality meal and drink before overpriced concessions.

The mixture of Asian and Spanish food along with the hip venue vibes makes 1100 Social the coolest restaurant in Xfinity and one of the cooler restaurants in Philadelphia. Before planning a dinner here make sure to check our the events calendar on Xfinity's website. If there is an event at one of the nearby stadiums, you'll have to pay $10+ in parking. So if you're just coming for dinner I would avoid any nights with sporting events or concerts going on. Two of the best things here are the Mariachi Dragon Club Guacamole and the Bahn Cam. Both dishes are appetizers and worth the splurge. 1100 Social has a bar and an inside seating area with tables and booths in addition to an outside patio with fire pits. I'd suggested requesting a booth, they're super comfortable. The venue is clean and the staff is knowledgeable. 1100 Social is worlds apart from it's neighboring bars and worth a visit.

"CUISINE INSPIRED BY A BLEND OF MEXICAN & ASIAN FLAVORS" Ok, you have my attention. I was fully impressed by 1100 when I came here on Saturday before a concert at Wells Fargo. I came with three people and we had a drink, app, and dinner all within a half hour. Service was sharp and fast. I was only feeling something pretty small and the portions here were perfect. We ordered chips and guacamole to start and it was truly some of the best guac I have ever had! Immediately after finishing our appetizer our entrees came out. I ordered the shredded chicken tacos and the other two people i was with ordered the cheesesteak empanadas. The tacos were pretty good. A little dry, but tasty! I sadly didn't get to try any of the asian cuisine options, but definitely want to check out the general tso's rice balls on my next visit. Our server was great and personable. 1100 Social did an excellent job of getting you in and out and making sure you leave happy with your meal / service.

Stopped here on a Thursday before a concert and there weren't any sports events going on so we could walk right up which was nice. I think I give this 4/5 stars in comparison to other places in xfinity live vs going out of my way to go here. The theme is Asian Mexican (odd but hipster) the menu is pretty clean cut and has a nice variety of choice without being overwhelming. Plenty of space and a clean but casual place to go. I ordered loaded nacho tacos and honestly they were perfect. I would compare to a street taco but with everything one would want on it. The corn tortilla was legit and I ate them both up pretty Quick. The boy had chicken dumplings and unfortunately they were under whelming to say the least. Not gross but not good. Dumplings themselves were bland and the peanut Thai sauce tasted...not like that lol. Closer to canned tomato sauce. I would go back, would not wait or go out of my way but overall with food in xfinity live I haven't been too impressed so this is the best best. Also feels a little more classy for the gals who want a glass of red vs the pub vibes.

Our group of 8 was split into two booths of 4 so that we didn't have to wait (even though the place was half empty on a Wednesday night). We attempted to squeeze, but they are adamant about their fire codes here. I was surprised by the limited draft selection, and instead opted for a bottle of Yuengling. We started with guacamole and street corn. We asked that they cut the corn cobs in half so that the 4 of us could share the 2 ears more easily. The server was concerned that they wouldn't want to for the sake of presentation, but they did (and it still looked pretty). The apps were good, though the chips for the guacamole were a little greasy. For my main, I got the bahn mi burger. The burger and toppings were good, but the bun was wimpy, and didn't seem to go with the rest of the sandwich, as if they'd run out of the regular bun and were making do. The yucca fries were greasy and limp, falling apart instead of being crispy. I only ate 2 of the stack. Others enjoyed their food, but no one raved about it. Service was ok, nothing great. It was good for us since we wanted to sit down and be able to talk to each other without screaming, which wouldn't have happened elsewhere in Xfinity Live.

I had the pleasure of attending a VIP tasting party at 1100 Social. As you may know, I'm not a fan of Xfinity Live and might not have made way down to this new restaurant so soon otherwise. I have to say, I'm impressed. Firstly, it's a much better use of the space. While I never actually ate at the Spectrum Grill, I'm much more likely to go 1100 Social to grab a taco and a margarita before a game rather than sitting down for a steak. This type of restaurant just makes so much more sense in this atmosphere. Secondly, the food is fun and something I actually want to eat. I recall going to one of the Xfinity beer events within the past year or so and leaving starving because I didn't want to indulge in crab fries or a cheesesteak. (Yes, I get the irony since I was over indulging in beer). This tasting event was a blast. We could try anything off the drink menu. A lot of the time I go with beer or wine, so I had some fun with cocktails. I tried the Mango Margarita, Tequila Old Fashioned and the House Margarita. I enjoyed them all but the House Margarita was outstanding. It was just a very well-made margarita that exemplifies what a good margarita on the rocks should be. I also had to try the New Harbor Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris since I have a soft spot for New Zealand wines. It's nice to have the opportunity to have nice things in this building. Everything I drank was the opposite of light beer. I also had the opportunity to sample the drunken beef and shredded beef tacos. I'm a tough critic having just visited Southern California, but these were pretty good. They were dripping in juices and very flavorful. I'd absolutely have them again. While not on last night's tasting menu, they had chorizo tacos and cauliflower tacos that sounded pretty intriguing. We also go to sample some passed appetizers included the Korean Meatballs, General Tso's Balls and Tempura Rock Shrimp Satay. They were all pretty tasty, but the General Tso's Balls were amazeballs. Quoting myself from last night, "I could easily be vegetarian with things like these." I can't forget the chips and guac. The chips were nice a thick consistency and not your bagged chips. The guac was a little overly limed for my liking, but also had a thick consistency, which I prefer in my guacamole. There's outdoor seating and an outdoor bar. I'm always on the hunt for a place where I can watch TV outside so I'm definitely keeping this in mind. Why go inside after tailgating to watch a game when you can just continue the party at 1100 Social. The outside area overlooks the Linc and CBP so it's ideal for feeling like part of the crowd. Yep, I'm impressed. Maybe this is exactly what the entertainment complex needed to class up the joint without going "steakhouse overboard." It gives me a reason to less begrudgingly head to Xfinity Live.

It's not a bad thing. Just very nondescript. It's a small place but I love what they did with this concept. It's unique and I wish them much success!! This is a set Kayamanan menu. No substitutions or accommodations. The food is plentiful and delicious. The garlic rice has a nice rich flavor. The vegetables are in a coconut milk sauce. It's flavorful but a little too heavy for my liking. The chicken was probably my favorite then the pompano fish. The chicken skin was crispy and the meat was moist. The fish was cooked perfectly. Crispy skin and flaky fish. The pork belly!! Not really my thing but it was on the meatier side than expected. Loved it!!! The highlight for me was the lumpia. I never had it before but now I need this in my life! Is this the best out there? I have no idea but they are now on my list of favorite things!!!! Due to my allergies I couldn't have the dessert, which is a chocolate and nut thing. The server was so gracious and brought me one of the pre-dinner sweet rolls. Then a coconut gelatin dessert. It was totally unnecessary but greatly appreciated!!

A little pricy for what it was ~$70 per person after tax and tip All of the proteins were very well cooked - fish was flaky and moist, the chicken was extreme tender. And the lumpia and pork belly were both crispy and well seasoned. All the sauces were extremely delicious Only downside was the balance - far too much rice in relation to the amount of vegetable curry and protein and neither of these were particularly flavorful The interior was also pretty small although service was attentive If they improved a little on the flavor of their carbs and curry base and provided a little more value for the cost I think this would have been a knockout meal

From the paper sign on the front door with handwritten sharpie reading "Roxanne (its a restaurant)", I should've known this would be an interesting one. I walked in for my 8 PM resy on a Saturday night and the place wasn't even 1/4 of the way full. There was one server taking care of all the tables, rightfully so. It took forever for the server to remember I was sitting there and to come take my order, so that was a rough start to the meal. I ordered 3 items and it was time for the meal to get started. First came out the raw prawn starter, which was just okay. Nothing really stood out about it, which kind of made it a chore to eat given that this dish was such a rich texture and mouthfeel to it with no contrasting textures to balance out the slimy richness. Next up was the scallops starter. Also was an extremely rich and creamy dish that would've benefitted from a crispy/crunchy texture contrasting ingredient being added. Got through these two starters and my stomach was already feeling very heavy from the richness. I was kind of regretting getting the entree that I chose after those two starters as my stomach couldn't really handle any more richness. But I chose the richest dish of them all, the duck breast entree. The sear and cook on the duck was great, they nailed it there. It came with a semi hard cheese, preserved strawberries, marinated peppercorns, and a rich sauce. It was pretty tasty and I liked the flavor contrasts of the fruit with the cheese and rich duck flavor. However, again, this one needed something crunchy mixed in there to offset a yet-again overly rich dish. The duck entree was pretty good, but I really regretted ordering it after those first two dishes. Overall, from the vibe of feeling like you're sitting in an illegal dining operation inside of someone's home art studio, to the subpar service even on a slow evening, to the lack of contrasting flavors, textures, and tastes of the dishes, this is definitely not a place I will be returning to.

Our reservation was for dinner at 8 PM on a Tuesday (8/5/25) with the set menu, and found we were the only ones with this time seating. It made our meal more intimate and special, as if we had rented out the whole restaurant for ourselves. We emailed Chef Alexandra pretty last minute (see email on website), so we were ecstatic that they could accommodate our request for set menu dining. The friendly service throughout our meal also echoed the welcoming nature of Roxanne as an establishment. Chef Alexandra, the amazing one-woman team, honestly wowed us with the set menu. Upon first glance, basically every type of protein was on the menu for us! As a whole, the plating was so whimsical and fun, and the portions were very generous for our party of 4. Around halfway through the meal, we were already full. The extensive menu started off with the appetizers of a baguette, beef tartare, and a shrimp cocktail. The baguette was regular, the beef tartare felt fresh, and the shrimp cocktail had a fantastic spicy cocktail dipping sauce. One of us just started drinking it like a gazpacho since it was so good! The next segment was the confit tuna, chicken, crab, salmon, and duck. The tuna was maybe less memorable than the delicate tart it was served on (and the hand the tart was served on), which really made the dish whimsical. Honestly, the next dish was most shocking dish for me personally- the chicken on a bed of hot sauce and sweet melon, which was such an interesting combination. I had my doubts, but it was such a perfect interplay of flavors! It really subverted my expectations. My personal favorite dish was the crab gnuddi, with its perfectly chewy bounce and generous healings of crab. The slice of duck was amazingly tender and juicy, but the other dishes were the stars for me. Lastly, dessert! Our dessert was a coffee crème brûlée and basque cheesecake. Once again, the plating and theatrics at the table, such as the pouring of cherry sauce over the basque cheesecake dish by Chef Alexandra, really made the meal memorable. For me, the crème brûlée was too sweet (as it should be!), but I really enjoyed the basque cheesecake! Plated like a fluffy cloud, it was airy and balanced perfectly with the sour cherry. I'm singing high praises for Roxanne, and highly recommend it as a "fancy" dining experience. From the service to the ambiance to the food, the all-in $190/pp price tag was well worth it. Although it's past my price point for frequent dining, it was really such a memorable experience!

The choice to go here was made due to the fact we have an engagement in South Philly. However, Jen simply pulled up a list of places in the area and picked here. After looking at the menu though, we knew we had likely locked in on a perfect place. Not only is the menu extremely extensive, but it also has an almost unending plethora of Mexican and Central American inspired brunch choices that had me trying to make selections two nights before we were even going to go. After stopping nearby at the place we needed to attend first, we leisurely made our way to the 1700 block of ninth street, and were amazed to find parking right in front. From years of working in the area and dealing with parking and driving here, finding a space with absolutely zero issue right off the bat was already a recipe for success and obviously just a sign of the boon to come. The little cafe is tucked away into what appears to at one point, likely many years ago, to have been a classic center row home. It's not an end property, and despite the space inside being quite roomy for what it is, it's a narrow corridor with the seating up front, prep and serving area in the center, and kitchen in the rear. Very cute, and everything inside has this older wooden feel to it, as if plucked from an old bookstore. We only had the opportunity to converse with one staff member, our server; she was not only wonderful, upbeat, and friendly, but also helpful, guiding us to a nearby location to get banana leaves for tamales I planned to make later in the week. That's just the beginning because I haven't even gotten to the food. This was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time. The Huevos Enmolados was so outstanding, not only did I finish the perfectly build stack of tostadas with all the ingredients stacked deliciously on top, but also asked for a small bowl of tortilla chips to scoop up the remaining mole that had become its own unique sauce amalgamation with the runny eggs and cheese and other flavors. I cannot overstate how wonderful this was. If I could have physically stomached a second meal, I would have ordered a complete second portion and eaten that too. Jen's carnitas skillet was also outstanding, although I only had a taste. We also had a side of scrapple which was delivered perfectly crisp and molten inside, steaming hot like forbidden meat-lava. Even the local classics are done perfectly here. Not only is Izzy's 33 worth visiting if you live in the city, if you are in the area at all, this place warrants a trip for breakfast or brunch. It is a premiere experience at a reasonable price especially for the city. I am sure there may be places that have a different selection, or may be preferable to some people, but for everything they offer, I don't think they can be beat; at least not easily. Do yourself a favor and get in here today and enjoy some of their unique offerings. I can guarantee that you'll enjoy.

The space is warming, inviting and I love the farmhouse chic vibes. I was t there for the aesthetics, but it was lovely. Staff is super attentive, knowledgeable and sweet! JESS guided us through the lovely menu. I studied it prior, LOL, and she was on point! The experience was chill, love and yummy. Risotto with scallops and shrimp was phenomenal! Next time I'll ask to 86 that brown butter vinaigrette. The biscuits with the sublime butter was a great start along with the strawberry salad my GODSIS got. It was FRESH! We got different desserts to try and I'll be back to try them all. She got the mini donuts and according to her "they are not munchkins"! No these were special, because I tried them. Perfection. We shared the sweets and that butterscotch treat was perfect and here is where the service over stands! Thank you JESS! Can't wait to go back when it's warmer and sit out in the GARDEN! Lovely service, esthetics and vibes. Park nearby, enjoy and stroll the park. Can't wait to return. S T A R R

Red Lobster should take over in that department!! The shrimp & grits were DELICIOUS --10/10. The dessert was really good, too. I'll give it a 9/10 because I didn't get to enjoy much of it bc I left it in the fridge and forgot about it. But from what I tasted when I got it, I love that the lemon cake wasn't too tart considering the raspberry sorbet and lemon curd took on that role. And that mocktail sangria was delicious--OMG 12/10! Service-- the guy was great! No complaints. It was my friend's birthday and they came through with the cute birthday brownies for us to share. Ambiance-- it's a really cute place and I hope to sit in the back one day because it's really dope over there. I took myself on a tour .

The restaurant has 2 levels and there is an elevator to the second floor. We were seated at a window which was quite nice. We were able to watch the city streets and architecture while enjoying our meal. The service was top notch, they were incredibly fast and attentive. All of the food was fantastic. If I lived around the area this would be a staple for a nice night out!

It's situated right near rittenhouse square so it's a bustling and great area. The spring festival was happening is it was PACKED! We were seated by a window and immediately given water. We ordered some lattes that took quite a while to arrive - we learned they have one coffee machine so things were backed up! Our serve apologized profusely and they gave us a sweet treat on the house at the end of our meal. I ordered the frittata which was delicious and my husband to the omelette . We also got the drop biscuits with strawberry rhubarb jam and omg am good! Our brunch was great and the interior was modern but felt homey and we had the best service and the manager also came to see things were going. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back next time I'm in town!
