My initial consultation with Dr. Ostrzega led to an absolutely spot on and positive conversation with him understanding my medical concerns and need for guidance. I found him to be not only understanding but he offered exemplary advise and recommendations regarding my medical concerns. At no point did I feel dismissed or rushed through my consultation and appreciated his legitimate attention to me. From me, Dr. Ostrzega receives a five stars rating and look forward to my next visit with him. read more

Ostrzega is basically a counter person at the DMV. You can tell this is just a job to him. He does the basics of the job, but nothing more. He checks off all the boxes that's required. If you ask a question, he'll begrudgingly answer it with the least amount of effort, and with little to no exploring deeper. He's basically just herding cattle, and you're the cattle. read more

I called cedars Sinai to get me in right away to a doctor as I was so sick and needed antibiotics. Now I see why he had openings and the others I asked for didn't. I'm beyond frustrated with his lack of judgement on giving me the right medication for my strep throat because of his conservative ways that he explained to me earlier as he critiqued the other medications I was on and explained that I really probably did t need them. I went in for a strep throat! Not a consult of my current medicines! For 3 days, I took the wrong antibiotic and was bed ridden with a temperature, chills, couldn't swallow, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep.. Monday morning I went to urgent care and they gave me a steroid shot so I could swallow and new antibiotics.. within hours i was feeling 70% better. So thank you for 3 days of pain Dr and yes I'm staying on my other medications, but thanks for your opinion! read more

Dr. Ostrzega's medical knowledge combined with his demeanor when interacting with patients places him as LA's best. To say that I am a difficult patient is an understatement, combined with the past couple of years (medically) being difficult for me, however, every time, anytime that I have reached out to Dr. Ostrzega, he has immediately responded with solutions. Without reservation I highly recommend Dr. Ostrzega read more

A few years ago I transferred to Dr. Ostrzega at Cedars Sinai from Prairie Medical Group. All I can say is wow, what a dramatic improvement. Not only was professionalism and treatment far superior, but Dr. Ostrzega and his team run a tight ship. When I raise a concern he is on it immediately, listens to me and gives referrals promptly when needed. His staff is not only friendly, but excellent in follow through with appointment calls, etc. I like all of the staff there, but most recently remember his assistant Evette, who is courteous, friendly and helpful. I am not the ideal patient, as I tend to lean more towards holistic eastern medicine, not always adhering to Dr. Ostrzega's western medicine recommendations. If I could have a doctor with knowledge of eastern and western medicine, I'd be in heaven. (That's the only reason for 4 stars, instead of 5, but I realize that Cedars is a western medical group, after all). There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Ostrzega has my best health interest in mind. I am glad to have him as my primary care physician. read more

Dr Ostrezga refused to see my mother in person, opting only for video visits. He completely missed that she was showing clear neurological symptoms of brain tumors. She died two weeks ago of stage four cancer. He should have his license revoked. read more

Dr. Ostrzega is really nice and absolutely down to earth... none of that 'doctor' superiority air. He has this cute NY type accent and talks fast :)! He is honest and genuine. I was actually trying to find how he spelled his last name for my pharmacy when I bumped into this review on Yelp. I've been his patient for couple of years and never thought of writing a review, happy that somebody thought of it. read more

The great Doctor Adrian Ostrzaga was my Doctor for approximately 3 to 4 years and I loved his service, staff and his style. He always presented himself in a professional manner and remembered my children and the events we shared a year ago from the last visit. Doctor Adrian Ostrzaga is one of the finest Doctors I have ever met in the medical profession, straight to the point, had a sense of humor and made me feel comfortable on my visits. Due to my employer insurance change, I cannot see him as my doctor. I will miss him very much and if my insurance change again, he will be the first on the list. Excellent Doctor, one of the best. I recommend him to all. By the way, they answered the phone every time I called. read more

Dr. Ostrzega quite possibly may be the worst doctor on the planet. I went to him after a car accident I had in 2009. He told me I had whiplash, prescribed some BS anti-inflammatory meds and told me sleep it off. I informed him it was not whiplash and something was really wrong as I had intense pain down my right leg. I went to another doctor for a 2nd opinion as I was in severe pain, the doctor ordered me to get an MRI right away, and it turned out I had 3 tears in my spine and a herniated disc. 30 doctors visits and 3 epidurals later, I am still seeing a Physical Therapist .... and it's 2 and a half years later. I've been progressingly getting better, but the carelessness shown by this doctor has created a negative impact on my health and well being for the rest of my life. On top of all of this, after I got the second opinion, because of my hybrid HMO-PPO insurance, Dr. Ostrzega had to order the MRI for me or I would have to pay cash. Dr. Ostrzega commanded me to come back to see him, not trusting the 2nd opinion doctor (however I believe this is an HMO rule). I had to wait a week to get an appt. and then another month for the MRI! Dr. Ryu was great. Caring, friendly, and took time during each visit to analyze your overall health. Dr. O just tries to push you right out the door so he can move on to his next patient. Do not go see this doctor. He is not friendly, he does not care about your health, he just cares about your money. I am not saying this out of frustration. I see three other doctors that all treat me with great respect and care. Maybe it's because i am an HMO that Dr. O does not care. But he does not understand the practice of medicine. He may be a specialist is some facet of medicine, but not general practice. Oh, and parking is awful at this place. This is strictly my opinion from my experience. There is no libel or slander in here. It's my experience with this man and I highly recommend you stay away from his office and his facility. They don't even answer the phone half the time at his office. read more

I went to Dr. Ostrzega for a possible broken rib, and he was really excellent. His staff was great, answering my questions about the paperwork required at arrival, and he displayed a sense of humor, knowledge and compassion. I was sent for xrays, and back to his office for a post xrays consultation. Dr. Ostrzega's office and the entire process was painless, aside from my injured rib. Yes, I will definitely refer him to others in need of a honest, professional Physician. read more

I really like Dr. Ostrzega. I feel like he takes his time when I visit and is thorough.

I have had nothing but pleasant visits from Dr. Ostrzega. He's been thorough and to the point and I guess I prefer that in a Doctor. Parking is a pain but I usually opt for before permit hours and you can just park on the opposite side of the bldg for free. read more

I'm a medical mystery and Dr. Oztrzega takes it in stride. Very comfortable to be around, doesn't rush through seeing you like some other doctors and very knowledgeable. My one complaint (and this has nothing to do with Dr. Oztrega himself) is that it's very hard to get an appointment with him when you actually need something. So be prepared to wait. But I think this is an overall issue with Cedars Sinai Medical Group. read more

I love this doc!! Hes very down to earth which I appreciate in an MD. I don't need a doctor who thinks they're better than patients because he has a license. He tells it like it is...and is to the point. Hes joke full which I love. I've worked in the health care field myself and trust me that they're isn't many doctors out there that are easy to talk to like him. I recommend him to all my friends and family who need a PCP. As far as the phone calls goes it sometimes can be hard getting a live person on the phone but again working in the field I can totally understand. Hundreds of phone calls come in on a daily at any given time and you cant pick them all up. The back office is pretty cool. The nurses are funny and make the experience enjoyable. If you need a PCP I give him a 5 star! read more

Dr. Ostrzega is by far the best primary care physician I have ever had. He is patient, understanding, and genuinely cares.

Dr. Ostrzega is the "BEST" doctor I've ever had! If my family and/or friends are ever in need of a doctor I never hesitated to recommend him. He's very down to earth, speaks to you and not at you and is very knowledgeable as a physician. To make things even better he has a great staff. I'm blessed to have such a great physician :) read more

me and my husband have been seeing Dr.Ostrzega for about 2 1/2 years now and I couldn't be any happier. the times that I've seen him he always seems to calm me down, he takes the time to explain to why am having those symptoms and has always found a solution. He is so easy to get along with and most important I know he cares about me because he takes the time to follow up with me. I love this doc and not to forget his great staff. read more

Dr. Ostrzega has been my primary care physician since I moved here ,4 year ago, and I can say without a doubt that he is the best internist/doctor/healthcare professional I have ever met. When I moved to the area, I looked on Yelp for a 5-star doctor and I'm so glad I found him! read more

Dr. Ostrzega is the BEST-- some reviewers here have critiqued his calm demeanor, mistaking perhaps a "quiet intellect" for "apathy". He's a focused guy, concentrating on patient health issues-- much more comforting to have a smart Dr., often in thought, than one who is simply amusing like a game show host. He busted me on not going to the gym. "You're getting flabby", he noted during my last physical, looking at me sadly, and with some pity. He rides his bike to work, so you can't challenge him-- I could only nod, shamefully . It's cool that he lives healthy, which sort of gives him the right to expect it of his patients. read more

Billing nightmare. I've refrained from writing about my billing nightmare with Dr. Ostrzega for about a year, given my understanding of the demanding and complex nature of the medical field. Now it's been almost a year from the date of service and I'm still getting a bill I shouldn't be getting. I've spoken to him directly, to his office manager, and to many of his staff members. On the one hand, I've been assured by him and his office manager that it would be resolved. On the other hand, when I've had to call back because it hasn't been resolved, I've often been told that I'm calling the wrong office because the bill is for another service. Over the past 10 months, I have spent a total of about 30 hours of my time on countless calls to his office, the lab, and my insurance company, trying to straighten out the mess. Today, after getting yet another bill, I spoke with two staff members in Dr. Ostzrag's office and they both again presumed to tell me--without checking--that I was calling the wrong office, that my bill concerned another service. I was finally able to confirm with the lab that the bill is in fact for in-house bloodwork done at Dr. Ostrzega's office. When I called his office back to tell them this, they didn't even apologize, they expressed no acknowledgement and took no responsibility for having wasted so much of my time and caused me so much stress with all the run around. When I finally said, "You should at least say you're sorry," I got a forced "sorry" and was sent to a voicemail...to leave yet another message. I am disgusted. read more

I've been his patient since he took over for Dr. Ryu. He is that rare doctor who is supremely knowledgeable without being arrogant or condescending. He is thorough, but doesn't waste your time. I've been seeing Dr. O ever since he took over for Dr. Ryu. I loved Dr. Ryu and was totally bummed when she moved, so Dr. O had some pretty big shoes to fill, but he's done it. Dr. O is a fantastic doctor. He's caring, but still professional. He's thorough without taking too long. He's straight forward, which I like. He's also very good at explaining things and makes sure not to cause any undue worry. He has also made considerable effort to contact me personally for follow up when dealing with an issue he knew had me very worried. I couldn't be more pleased with the medical care that I receive from him. His office is a little busy, so sometimes it is hard to get an appointment, but they are amazing about squeezing you in if it is urgent. read more

Dr. Adrian Ostrzega is wonderful. He has been my Dr. for 2+ years. He is always very helpful and has a great bedside manner. I recommend Dr. Ostrzega to everyone, especially athletic type patient's like myself. I recently had an injury to my knee. He referred me to a great Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Suketu Vaishnav and I am on my way to a speedy recovery. I trust Dr. Ostrzega and respect his opinion. Dr. Ostrzega is fantastic. He loses one star for lack of back office customer service and not validating parking, but the actual care and personal attention is quite excellent. I had a wonderful doctor that moved to NYC and I was really worried when I was assigned to Dr. Ostrzega (I had chosen a female doctor but was bumped over, thanks HMO). I was completely sold after just one visit. If you are a woman of any orientation and nervous about having a male doctor, Dr. Ostrzega totally puts your mind at ease. He's very friendly (LGBT-friendly even!), takes time to find out how you've been but then gets right to the point. If you like a doctor that coddles you and runs a million unnecessary tests, then he's probably not for you. If you like a doctor that tells it like it is, then he's great! Sometimes he can be a bit dismissive if your issue doesn't seem serious, but all you have to do is ask and he'll order the tests you want. Mostly, I think it's him trying to make you less worried about the problem and I take it as him caring that you're not too stressed out. He makes you feel comfortable, is very approachable and doesn't make you feel stupid if you have questions. In fact, he's really nice about explaining things further if you want to know. The nurses are all very pleasant and seem at the top of their game. It's always a nice experience, even when I don't want to be there :) read more

Comes off a bit cold at first but he's an excellent doctor and a nice guy. Five stars.

Dr. Ostrzega is a warm, kind, and friendly Physician. He has been incredibly helpful to me in taking care of multiple medical issues. He is very smart and knows his stuff! First I would like to say Dr. Oztrzega is a wonderful doctor very professional, easy to talk to and I would go to him any day. So I don't want to say anyting bad about him. I also think this is just someone not doing their job. The problem is it has been over a week since I went to for some high blood pressure medicine. I was at the time they would call in the prescription. It did not happen it has been a week. I call the Rite-Aid ask them to call again. They call no respond. I call the office now I am very upset because it is going into another week I have not has this medicine for a about two week now. I talk to someone in office and of course I am upset she ask me what kind of medicine you take. I am thinking I was just there didn't someone write this down or isn't it on the computer. Her answer is I don't know you have to tell me. Well I could tell her anything go check. I don't want to say to hold office is not good. But this person by the time of Angelina is not to very smart in dealing with the situation. read more
