I took my son their and is basically a child's version of the Ninja Warrior's course. It's plenty for children to do. I would recommend it. They also offer military discounts.

Went here with my 8-year old and her two older cousins (14 and 15) during the week. Wasn't very crowded at all for a summer day. For the first 30 mins my daughter walked around and didn't know how to use many of the "obstacles" on the main floor. I had to walk up to the workers three different times to ask them how things work. They were very caught up in chatting with each other rather than helping the kids. It would have been nice to see the obstacles explained or demo'd for the smaller kids. Maybe this is different on a busy night w/older kids, but it seemed very unorganized "... kids running in all directions on the obstacles. We then decided to venture upstairs. This is where I was thankful my kid had her cousins to help her bc the "workers" didn't seem to have any concern with explaining to an 8-year old how to maneuver the ropes. The girl took less than 30 seconds to show her how to lock in -- and then said to "just go" when she was clearly confused. There are no nets, mats, etc below the obstacles ... I don't understand how little kids are safe (even if they meet the height requirement). I would have expected a few workers to be hanging out on some of the "landings" in case the kids get stuck or scared? At one point a little girl was stranded and crying and it took a worker about 5 mins to strap in and get her. They also seemed a little short-staffed among the rock walls. One guy was working four or five walls and you had to wait for him to latch/unlatch your kid. Overall I wasn't impressed and we won't be back. Mostly bc of the lack of help among the staff.

Okay, so this place is a blast! It is fun for all ages and has a bunch of things to do. They have a killer confidence/ropes course, a sweet ninja warrior course, a bunch of climbing ‍ things, an arcade, a juice bar and I'm told that they should now have VR as well!! It is a great place to take the family or even the folks from the office (try the confidence course). There is even a party room where you can host a birthday party or other event. Check it out and have a blast!

Great place to take kids! Something for everyone and reasonably priced. The bowling game in the arcade is a favorite!

From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, organized, and most importantly safe and fun for the children. A special thank you to Matt, the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure our party ran smoothly. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for the families there really stood out. The entire staff was patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful with the kids. The children had an amazing time bowling--there was laughter, excitement, and so many happy little faces. It was the perfect place for a group of energetic five-year-olds to celebrate and enjoy themselves. We were also pleasantly surprised and so happy to learn that the Saturday morning kids programs will continue. That's such a gift for families in the community who are looking for a fun, positive place for children to gather and play. Thank you again to Matt and the wonderful team at Pinstripes for helping create beautiful memories for my grandson's birthday. We will absolutely be back!

The Aloft Cleveland Beachwood was clean, the staff was friendly, and while it wasn't the Chicago Aloft, I would definitely return to this location. Upon arrival, I checked in and was placed on the second floor, where I found my room with ease. I then decided to head downstairs around 9:20pm to sit by the pool (as I was told the pool was open until 10 & the gym is 24 hr), but when I tried the doors to the gym and pool area, they seemed to be locked. I sat in the courtyard instead and browsed online for some dinner (see Agave & Rye). I wasn't super impressed with the decor of the room, it felt very much like an 8 year old's superhero bedroom, but I can't deny that the hotel as a whole felt very clean and I appreciated that I had a mini fridge in the room. It seems mini fridges are becoming less and less common in hotels, so I'm always relieved when one is provided. I was only in town for one night, and while I was disappointed that I didn't get to use the pool or the gym due to the doors being locked, I was happy to have a clean room and a comfy bed to sleep in. *I loved the pool table and hot cocoa bar in the lobby! I think it's so important that hotels provide guests with a space to socialize and engage with one another.

The room was clean and appeared to be generally well maintained. However, there were several issues: 1) TV didn't work 2) Toilet intermittently ran all the time (Ever try falling asleep to that sound?) 3) Nearby elevator hummed loudly every time it ran (Made the toilet noise seem tame by comparison) 4) Glass barn door to the bathroom rattled and made noise every time it was opened and closed (How can anyone sleep through all of these noises?) My breakfast experience had some issues too. The menu listed 3 pancakes for $12. I ordered those for dine-in. Instead, I received a take-out container with 2 pancakes for $10. That was a 25% higher price per pancake than was listed on the menu. I then requested a plate and real silverware from the cashier so I could eat the pancakes in the dining room. On a positive note, the hotel offers coffee and refrigerated bottles of water in the lobby 24 x 7. Will I stay at the Indigo Hotel again? Probably not, considering there are several other similarly priced and higher rated hotels in the same area.

Landerhaven Event Center - 'Celebrate Sisterhood', a Cleveland Clinic Health Event for Women -- on Saturday, 26 October 2024

The Landerhaven Event Center is a big conference/events center on the east side of Cleveland,…read morespecifically, in Mayfield Heights. It is used for weddings, work conferences, and other events. I've been here twice now, both times for a Cleveland Clinic women's health event which is a huge event held every October. The October 2024 "Celebrate Sisterhood" event was fun. I met my mom's church members there and sat with them. The event started at 9am but the doors opened at 7:30am when breakfast was served. The conference center has a large ballroom, the Diamond Ballroom which is where the main event took place. Tables and chairs were set up and speakers stood on a raised platform. There were probably around 40 tables and chairs placed inside. The Diamond ballroom is one large open room with no doors or dividers separating the room. Just outside the ballroom was an open area where food was setup. During breakfast and lunch, participants stood in line and members of the Landerhaven catering team, served the meals unto our plates. The catering team did a great job with laying out different vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The catering team were very hospitable by greeting everyone and clearing out plates and glasses from tables once people were done eating. For breakfast, I nibbled on a little fruit because the sausages and eggs didn't look appealing to me. For lunch, I opted for a salmon and vegetable dish which was tasty. Inside the Diamond Ballroom, at the back, is an area where endless tea and coffee were setup for the Cleveland Clinic event. I'm sure other events could make that section a coat section. Outside the main ballroom is an open area where vendors set up their booths so participants could purchase items. I bought a cute mini facial travel set filled with oils, moisturizers and creams from the black-owned brand, C-3 Restoration which was founded by a young female medical doctor. The founder, Ciera, still practices as a doctor. I also bought collagen powder by the same brand to use in my homemade smoothies and teas. There was a smaller room where additional vendors were located. I got to check my blood pressure and weight by Cleveland Clinic which was a complimentary service they offered during the event. In that same room, there was a section to learn about the brain and the plenty of paid and unpaid (volunteer) medical studies being done by Cleveland Clinic. Front desk staff were great! In fact, all staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. I had a king room on the top floor. The room and bathroom were clean. The lighting situation was great, meaning, there was enough lighting in the room unlike some hotels. The bed was one of the better hotel beds I've slept on. I got great sleep! I did use the pool and hot tub and both were clean and at perfect temps. The daily breakfast was plentiful and tasty. They kept things refilled right up until the end. I was there midweek and breakfast goes till 9:30 which is nice since some other places end it way earlier. I ate breakfast there all 4 mornings of my stay and it was the exact same every day. Would be nice if they switched it up a bit. The 5:30 Kickback was also nice. It's basically a full dinner which is such a great bargain. Kinda wish that went a little longer, 7:30 maybe? But still a great perk. Having soda available is also a nice perk, as is the free adult beverages during Kickback. If I get send back out here for work again, I know where I'm staying!
