Nothing crazy. She wanted a manicure with a simple French tip and one butterfly design, plus a pedicure with gel polish. Before I left, I specifically went inside and asked the man at the front EXACTLY how much everything would cost. I was told $114. I said okay, cool. Even if it ended up around $125 with something small added, I would've understood. We live right down the street, so I left to go feed my other kids. Then I get a text saying the price has gone from $114 to $156. I was already irritated, but I said fine. She's already there, so let's just finish it. Then about 30 minutes later, I get a PHONE CALL saying they didn't have the original product she wanted for her nails, so something had to be changed. Now suddenly the total is $189. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! How do we go from $114 to $156 to $189 for a 15-year-old getting a basic manicure, French tips, one simple design, and a pedicure?! That's a $75 increase from the price I was quoted before I left the salon. My biggest issue isn't even that nail services can be expensive. My issue is that I walked in, ASKED FOR THE PRICE UP FRONT, was given a price, and then that price kept changing after I left and while the services were already being done. That feels completely unacceptable. If something was going to cost extra, that should've been clearly explained BEFORE doing it, especially when you're working on a minor and the parent already asked what the total would be. And for nearly $200, the quality of the work absolutely did not justify the price. I feel like I was taken advantage of, plain and simple. If you decide to come here, I strongly suggest you get every single service and price confirmed before they touch your nails because apparently the price you're quoted at the beginning may not be the price you're expected to pay at the end. (which they probably will not do) I would NOT recommend this business.

The environment is the most relaxing with soft music and lighting, and the techs don't make me feel rushed like I do at other places.
