My desk adjuster was Misti Mangel, Greg handled things as the executive adjuster, and Vicken supported on the accounting side. From start to finish, they were organized, responsive, and knew exactly how to handle a difficult insurance situation. AAA initially downplayed the damage significantly, offered a very low payout, and even pushed to close the claim before I had time to fully assess everything. On top of that, they made things difficult for my contractors, which added even more stress to the situation. I reached out to multiple public adjusters, and many of them told me upfront that AAA was extremely difficult to deal with and didn't even want to take on the claim. That alone says a lot. This team stepped in anyway and handled everything professionally and aggressively when needed. They knew how to push back, document properly, and navigate the process without cutting corners. Now that my claim is officially closing this week, I can confidently say hiring them was the right decision. They turned a frustrating, overwhelming situation into something manageable and ultimately successful.     The Un-Lovely Story of a Not-So-Lovely Company:…read more Here's the story of a lovely company, Who was busy with customers of their own. They were called in to help me with a leak, That ruined two rooms of my home. They seemed legit and promising, And I thought I was in good hands. This was the start of a great experience... Or so I thought was the plan. It's the story of a harsh reality: this company would eventually throw me under the bus. They originally hired an outside crew who rushed through the entire project in one day, despite the Project Manager (PM) promising it would take a week. The work was incredibly messy; they ruined my house with their sloppiness. My floors and stairs were trashed, and my room looked like a child had painted it. They even cut off a section of flooring that was meant to stay and tried to hide it with tape so I wouldn't notice until after they left. When I asked the workers why they were in such a rush, they admitted they had another job the next day and just wanted to get mine out of the way. Additionally, while I have no proof, an external charger that never leaves my house went missing while they were here, another $50 lost. I also never received a refund for a part of unused flooring they took back. When I called to complain to my PM, Antonio, he fired the crew--rightfully so--and assured me he would fix it. However, he then tried to claim some of the issues were because I chose a darker paint color, suggesting he could have charged me for an "upgrade" but didn't. I told him that was no excuse; he never communicated any extra charges, and I had explicitly asked for permission to choose my own colors. I then had to wait for their "best" in-house guy, Theo. I waited a week for his availability, and while he did a great job cleaning up the paint in one of the rooms, that's when the run-around began. For over a month, Antonio would schedule Theo, only to call the day before (or the day of) to say he was no longer available. At one point, the PM tried to flip the script, saying the delay was my fault for insisting on Theo. I had to remind him that he was the one who recommended waiting for Theo in the first place. Finally, Theo showed up unannounced at 4:00 PM one day. Since I wasn't expecting anyone, I was hesitant to let him in until I realized who it was. Antonio hadn't given me any warning. After he worked that day, I told him to let Antonio know that I had already fixed the stairs and much of the upstairs myself because I couldn't wait any longer for them to correct their mistakes. He promised to return Tuesday to fix the trashed flooring downstairs and finish the upstairs. Monday came, and it was the same song and dance: the company had "more important" clients, and he was sent elsewhere. Antonio promised Wednesday instead. Tired of waiting, I fixed the flooring downstairs myself that night so it would have time to cure and I could finally get my house back in order. At this point, they should have put me on the payroll; I performed 2/3 of the repairs myself while still paying my bill in full. On Wednesday morning, Antonio called to say he was sending someone else entirely, because again Theo was not available after being sent to a more important job. This new person fixed the cut flooring and "fixed" the paint, but I still had to clean up after him because his attention to detail was severely lacking. During the final walk through, I told Antonio I just wanted them out of my house. I felt like Sandy in Grease: "You're a fake and a phony, and I wish I'd never laid eyes on you." I truly wish I had never used this company.
