I requested a towing service from my insurance company, and they booked me with ADJ Towing. My experience with them was absolutely terrible! When I called the provided number, a guy answered the phone as if someone was trying to collect money from them. He never mentioned his name or the company name, which was extremely unprofessional. I decided to check their reviews, and it seemed like they had done this before. After waiting for two hours, I called them back to inquire about their progress. The same person, Andy, answered the phone again. He claimed that they were busy and had someone heading my way, but they should be there in about an hour. It was clear that they were not professional at all when they answered the phone. They made me feel like I was bothering them and should not use their company. Roadside service, towing requested at 10:14 am. Received a message back an hour later that the tow company had been assigned and would arrive in 30-90 minutes. Over 4 hours later a guy seriously dressed as a fireman? shows up and turns into a complete cry baby! I was stuck standing in the rain while trying to recuperate from pneumonia, directing this guy into loading the car on one of the easiest tows I have ever seen. He likes to say it's too hard and threaten to leave you even more stranded, btw. Lesson learned, if they do not show up when they initially say, bad sign, tell the dispatcher to find you another tow! The price for the storage went from $84 for 8 hours of storage to $250 in a matter of minutes to $450 for less than 24 hours of storage time. Owner Andy was nasty. Don't waste your time with this company, call atlas instead. This company was called through my insurance company. They were told of my flat tire on the front passenger side. I waited TWO HOURS only for them to send a flat bed tow truck, and for the guy to tell me my car is too low, and he can't tow it. THEY LITERALLY HAD ALL OF THE INFORMATION. My car make and model, AND THE ISSUE, yet they sent the wrong freaking truck. Then the guy I talked to on the phone was very rude like it was my fault. It's not my fault you can't send the proper equipment. It's yours. I will absolutely tell everyone I know about this horrible experience. ATLAS towing came, with a flatbed too, I was scared at first! I would like everyone to be aware of this towing company especially Andy who came out was the best in helping my husband start his Corvette. The car wouldn't start and was stuck in the garage however Andy took the time to figure out how to get the car started (it didn't start with regular cables) get it out of the garage and put on his flatbed truck to bring it to the dealership. I had an outstanding experience with Andy today. He is one of a kind and hard to find. I had problems with the Roadside Assistance company that was provided to me by my car company. I dealt with them the whole day and only learn at the end of the day that they were undercutting towing companies and paying them 1/3 of what they would charge me. The first towing truck did not even bother to show up or to call after 3 hours of waiting. Then they found ADJ Towing. Andy was trying to deal with them, was not too happy with what they pay, but was not able to get them to return his call. Regardless he came for me, just like he promised he will do when he called me, towed my car to the dealership, and gave me a ride. Ha Int to get tow is always a hassle but companies who I've dealt with in the past provide accurate times for ETA and keep communication along the way. If there is a delay you get notify.Its been 3 hours and the tow hasn't showed up yet, every time I call the company I am asked for 30 min. My husband's BMW broke down in 100 degree weather on a canyon road with no cell service on a Sunday. Thankfully our insurance company connected with Andy at ADJ and he was amazing! After walking to get a cell signal we were able to communicate with Andy as to where the car was. He was on time to meet us. In fact, he was early which was great! The car had to be jumped for him to even put it on the flatbed. Andy had the remote jumper and perfectly drove the car on the flatbed. He towed the car to our mechanic about 30 minutes away, then jumped it again so we could park it outside the repair shop's locked yard area until they arrived on Monday. Our car key was stolen and we had to have our car towed to the car dealership to have a replacement key made. The worst experience ever! I called for RoadSide assistance at 8:15am...it's currently 4:45pm and no tow! I keep contacting them and he keeps saying "oh yea, 60-80 minutes, I got caught up" WTF! If it weren't free from my insurance company, I'd hire someone else....The driver called me at 4pm and asked me what time the delivery shop closed, I told him 6...the pickup shop, closed at 5. This was my first experience with ADJ towing . For roadside assistance, USAA uses company called Agero, which hires various tow companies for jobs. They have always been slow, assistance from the drivers (usually from Quality towing) are usually nice enough. NOT SO ADJ - name of driver "Andre" (he had no card, so who knows). 3 hrs after calling for assistance ("dead" car to be towed) he called & said "stuck in traffic, couldn't be here for another hour", tried to reschedule for tomorrow. ARGUMENT ensued! He arrived sullen, "apparently" deaf, and disgusted that he had to do this job (classic BMW, flatbed needed). He would have broken an irreplaceable part had I not been watching him.
