I had no idea that this bar had been here for two years and I still hadn't been. I was meeting a friend for some drinks and it was a Sunday afternoon so I thought let me try this place. They do have happy hour from 4 to 6 daily. We ended up just drinking margaritas on the rocks we drink several of them. The atmosphere is really laid-back. There are sofas there are chairs and then you could sit at the bar on stools. We got there right at four so it was just the two of us really and then the two people working there for about an hour or so and then it slowly started getting a little crowded and a little louder. They do not serve food, but there is a taco truck right outside. The parking wasn't too bad because it was a Sunday afternoon, but I'm assuming on a Friday or Saturday night it's probably more difficult to find a place to park because you have to park on the street. Neither of us had been there before, and we both really enjoyed it and most likely we'll be back.

Fantastic cocktails in a beautiful bar! I love the gorgeous offrenda in the back corner. It was a really nice start to my evening. The bartender ( I hate that I forgot his name) was really friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed conversing about the cocktails. My personal favorite was the Turista.

Adios has a nice, chill atmosphere. My first time coming here was recently and I really enjoyed it. I'm not normally a big cocktail drinker but I was presented with some really nice options. Specifically, Remember me! Don't ask what's in it..... you'll have to look it up! Haha They do not serve food but there was a taco food truck posted up out front. I definitely will return here whenever I'm in the mood for a nice cocktail.

This is a pretty neat place if you're looking to break away from the traditional American bar routine. It's not so tequila-focused that you have to like tequila to enjoy a drink here. The vibes are good and there seems to always be something going on like comedy, live music, or a food truck. The house tequila-focused cocktails were creative, but not too far out to not be enjoyable to the average drinker. There's some adventurous stuff and also plenty of spins on the classics.

This is a really cool bar in North Birmingham. I've been here twice. Service is exceptional, and they have so many cocktails on their menu. I had the amaretto sour which was pretty good if you like sweet drinks and Thinking of Tulum which has a rim of Tajin that I just loved!

We've always been big fans of Adios but had an exceptional experience last night. We came in after dinner for drinks. After being greeted by the doorman and staff we were asked "what's the occasion" (noticing we were dressed up I suppose?) After we were seated the staff brought over glasses of bubbles from the staff for our anniversary. They didn't have to do that, but they chose to. Still one of the best in Birmingham and never disappoints. 20 out of 10

Adios is a go to downtown spot for tequila and vibes. It's even been recognized nationally as a tequila bar! Service is always quick. You cannot go wrong with the cocktails here.

Great atmosphere, drinks, and service! This place is perfect for catching up with friends, and trying out new drinks. The bartenders were friendly and quick with service. Will definitely be coming back!

Incredible vibe. Eclectic and cozy! Filled up through the night and went from date night feels to more of a party (great for either!) Perfect for the adventurous drinker - lots of unique craft cocktails, particularly if you're a tequila connoisseur. The bartenders are so knowledgeable and drinks came out quickly. If you're in town during the holidays their seasonal menu is fantastic!! I can't remember what the drink was called but it was a milky, coconutty, creamy drink with a kick. RICH but yummy!

This bar is located in the bar district on First Ave North. I drove by heading to another bar and noticed it. We talked about Adios all the way to other bar. We decided to go back to Adios. We are glad we did. The drinks were good. There is a food truck in front of Adios. We didn't try it. We were only out for drinks. Our drinks were good. We had an Un Coco, Airmail, and a margarita. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. I'll be back!

Very nice lounge/bar with beautiful decor. The drinks are amazing and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They also have games like Uno and Jenga to help keep you entertained. Overall one of the nicest bars in Bham!

Nice chill place to go have drinks. There are many drink options to choose from. Parking can be a bit tricky. I will definitely come back again.

They have a food truck that I've heard wonderful things about and I ordered the chicken Caesar salad. It was almost like a chopped Caesar salad and it was just the right amount for a small girl dinner. If you like Parmesan cheese, this is a must order as they do not skimp on that! What was really nice however was that you couldn't tell the food was from a food truck. It was great quality and you are able to order from inside the bar and they deliver it to you. That was a great service. I can't quite remember which cocktail I got, but it was very delicious and at one point the server had even given me a new chilled glass so my drink would remain cold as I sipped on it. This is definitely a great date night spot or just a place to grab a drink with friends, definitely a little more upscale as we were there in the evening, so the lights were dim. I won't drop my rating as it's spring time in the South but I remember being cold immediately as I walked in- but that's typical for a lot of places.

It was so fun and the crowd made it feel like a safe space. I'm going to try to bring my mom and some of her friends for the next one! It's a great bar with comfortable seating, and on this night it wasn't so loud that my older, hearing impaired friends wouldn't enjoy it. Burlesque aside, this is a great bar for an intimate drink. They have multiple seating options; the first floor has booths that can accommodate smaller and large groups. The bar area is very inviting and fun to be able to watch your drinks being made and upstairs offers a more private area. When not seated at the bar they do have someone to come around to make sure you have what you need. The servers are very nice and tend to remember you, which is a great feeling. The menu rotates seasonally, which makes it easier to try new things. My favorite menu item so far has been the cheeseball that was on the menu around Christmas time. It had a great flavor served with crackers the only thing is when we came back after the first of the year it wasn't on the menu anymore. On my most recent visit I had the queso which also had great flavor, served with blue corn tortilla chips. When it comes to the drinks I like how on the menu they let you know how strong it is using toucans. Many of the drinks feature rum, but they do still offer some gin and tequila options. Everything I've had has been good and something I would try again. I would like to note that many of the drinks are fruity and can be somewhat sweet. At Christmas time they even had holiday themed drinkware which I felt was a nice touch. If you are not a drinker, they also have options for mocktails. Which has been great for me the last couple of months. I didn't care for the Phony Negroni, but I think Negroni itself might be an acquired taste

The menu varies so don't expect this menu when you go. The smash burger is dependable and good. The duck fries are pretty awesome, but they seem to be super enthused about their house seasoning, almost to the point of obliteration! It's good; They just need to be a little more judicious with it. Pictured are the noteworthy Brussel sprouts: "$10 BRUSSELS' SPROUTS Red wine balsamic glaze, Agrodolce pearl onions, scallions, fried garlic " You can also have them topped with grilled chicken for a few bucks more. Can Brussels be overcooked? Apparently not. These aren't as charred as the photo suggests. The red wine / balsamic reduction adds a lot of color to them. They may look charred but there's no burned taste in the flavor. I know, those poor little Brussels look overwhelmed, but they're not. They were good in my mouth and belly. Be careful not to spill any in the car on the way home, or the next day your car will not be very welcoming to guests.

We went very early one Saturday and were the only people in there -- but I won't hold this against them at all, as we are always early birds. The staff were all hanging out in a booth near the door. One bartender eagerly jumped up to help us, but the rest seemed pretty inconvenienced by our presence. Our bartender was great -- very personable and knowledgeable. That's about the only redeeming factor. The menus were tattered and sticky, bar itself was kinda gross, lipstick marks on our glasses, and our drinks were subpar at best. I believe the theme when we went was something about Italy, so there was a lot of potential for creative drinks, but they all seemed pretty uninspired -- think limoncello, Negronis, etc.. Also, some weird blue frozen one, but I can appreciate catering to every crowd! We probably won't be back.

The chairs sucked to add to it. I find the bathroom, whoever thought it was such a good idea to put a faucet that high was special because you have to turn the water low enough or push the faucet to the side to prevent from it splashing all over you. My in-laws got there a few mins before us and got everyone waters which that was good. The waitress, it took her forever to come back by to ask for drinks or starters. Granted we were waiting for a few other people but my husband wanted a soda and we were going to go ahead and get an appetizer. I decide to stick with my water because I just felt like I would get a drink if I asked for something different. Which I was right. My husband had to wave the waitress down for his soda. She accidentally brought him diet. She never brought back his drink. I had to get up and ask the hostess about our his drink and that we were wanting to order an appetizer. The hostess apologized and said they were really busy. I know I had to fix my face because I looked around, saw our table, and two other tables, about 6 people at the bar that the bartender handled, and looked back at the hostess like, "wtf?" The rest of our group shows up. Waitress comes back. Still no drink for my husband and gets our appetizer orders along with the remaining drink orders. When the appetizers comes out, it was a guy who brought it to us and we asked him about the soda and he apologizes and gets it for us...finally. Nothing special about the appetizer just chips and dip. We finish it and once again...the waiting game. The rest of our group still had yet to get their drinks. She comes back after another long wait, drink less, and gets our orders. My father in-law mentions the drinks, she apologies, and gets them. The wait it took for our food to come was ridiculous. I hate to imagine how long we would have had to wait if it was actually busy. Maybe it might have been worth my wild if the food was phenomenal but the moment it was sat in front...I knew it was not gonna be good. I got the Alfredo with shrimp. It looked like some soup. The sauce to noodle ratio was not good. The sauce was so runny that I had to lean it and eat the noodle like Naruto eating ramen. 5 measly pieces of shrimp. The sauce was also very gritty. How something that is so runny also be gritty, I don't know but I've had lean cuisine frozen alfredo dinners better than this $29 plate. 3 of us ordered Alfredo, only one got a piece of bread but I'm not asking for bread because I don't want to wait 30 mins to get it. My son looked at me and legit said, "we should have just gone to Olive Garden" knowing good and well I don't care for Olive Garden but also knowing it would have been better than whatever this plate in front of me was called. When walking to my car, I looked at everyone and said, "I'm sorry but this place sucked. I've been curious about it and now that I've experienced it...there is nothing here that would bring me back." So I suggest spend your money elsewhere because there is nothing that makes this place standout enough to have the audacity to have nonexistent service and charge $29 for soupy Alfredo
