I initially purchased the Groupon, however, there was no availability for the weekend I was interested in. I ended up purchasing the wheel for two and I was not disappointed at all. The location was very easy to find as it is right inside crafted at the port of Los Angeles. The wheel for two created the fun and intimate experience that we were looking for. My partner and I had a wonderful time learning from April and working on our pottery creations. We look forward to picking up the finished products! We will definitely be back.

I'd love to see them in pink.

It's time for this hidden treasure to be exposed! The owner/instructor, April, is a sweet queen who knows her stuff. She has everything you can ask for and if you don't see it, ask. April offers classes for beginners, and that could be a fun date, anniversary, birthday, or pre-wedding outing. She offers affordable prices on her one-of-a-kind wares and you can bet her merchandise is A-1 quality. Call for an appointment or drop in if you're in the area. Tell her that I sent you and watch the smile that appears on her face.

Woahhh ok so this class was so much fun! Grab a bottle of your favorite whatever and jump right in to making and molding your very own clay item. I made a little nacho bowl and my wife made an amazing bowl. I love bowls. Will highly recommend to anyone ready to get their hands wet and get right into the action!

Can't wait to see how these will turn out after they're all dine!

We had a wonderful time at the I Love Glass Candy workshop, run by April (who also does the pottery). Can't wait to see the final project. Will def do again!

April is as genuine as can possibly be. Great for beginners. Great for intermediate. Great for the advanced. April guides you through the entire project one step at a time and will help you along the way. Jane and I had such a wonderful time together crafting our bowls. Pinching clay is therapeutic mana for the soul. Heck, April--unbeknownst to her--gave me some free therapy when she mentioned how I set my standards too high and ended up overworking my piece . It will forever be a memory that I will cherish visiting.

This place is awesome! My sister and I came in and took a class titled "Pinch and Sip"! You can BYOB and the instructor (Miss. Adewole) walks you through an incredible clay molding class!! We each made two items (medium size bowl or large mug and a small succulent planter) and had the best time. Our instructor was helpful, encouraging and so charismatic! We will absolutely be back again! Thank you so much!

My two pieces from the Wheel class

April was an amazing instructor. She guided me all throughout the process, even when my "bowl" was all slanting down to one side with her magic and help we brought it back to center :) A wonderful experience and very meditating activity.

    Look at that progress!

Her endlessly inventive suggestions and solutions made what could have been a taxing remodel into a dream project. While working abroad a few years ago I made the mistake of renting my 1924 Tudor home in Los Feliz, to a tenant who completely trashed it. When I returned, I was heart broken to see this Hollywood gem in such disarray. I knew I needed someone truly extraordinary and Carolyn came highly recommended. When I showed her what I thought was a complete disaster, she was unfazed and literally jumped into the challenge of bringing this house back to life. She was patient with my emotional ups and downs and found a way to not only decorate and revive my home but to restore it to a splendor that it hadn't enjoyed for decades. Her attention to detail is unparalleled, and her commitment to the authenticity of the period never got in her way. She is great at keeping every detail and fixture faithful to the period but was also able to find modern and state of the art solutions to the design challenges that come with older homes. Each and every one of her choices felt organic and intrinsic to the overall look of the house. I couldn't be happier. She works with terrific contractors and tradesmen and her knowledge of materials and textiles seems limitless. My house has been completely reborn, as the project included a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel, interior paint, plastering, hardwood floors, new windows and drapery design and fabrication. Everything was done to the highest possible standard and went far beyond what I thought my budget and time parameters would allow. She is a true professional and her charming and helpful demeanor actually made it fun. I can not speak more highly of Carolyn and would not hesitate to call her for any design project I had. Allison
