After I noticed his urinary issues, Dr. Young told me that his urinalysis showed no crystals. As his symptoms worsened, I then rushed him to Ocean State, where I learned he was actually suffering from crystals that had developed into bladder stones. I returned to West Shore to discuss surgery, but the surgeon initially suggested that we wait. I explained that I was under the impression he could become impacted at any moment, which could be life-threatening, and she confirmed that my understanding was correct. I told her that, in my eyes, waiting wasn't going to help. He was essentially a ticking time bomb. She appeared reluctant to move forward with surgery and seemed frustrated by my insistence, but eventually agreed to schedule it. Just hours after dropping him off for surgery, I received a call from that same surgeon, who had initially been reluctant to move forward with the procedure, telling me that an ultrasound showed his bladder stones had "dissolved" and surgery was no longer necessary. Despite this, my cat continued to decline. Thankfully, another surgeon took his condition seriously and performed surgery, discovering that the bladder stones were still there. They had simply become difficult to see on imaging because they had become translucent. This experience caused unnecessary suffering and, most importantly, put my cat's life at risk. After trusting this practice for years, I am deeply disappointed in the care and medical judgment he received, and I cannot recommend this clinic.

Yes, so I try to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning. Are they busy? Yes, so I get ready to wait sometimes when I call. Are they kind? Yes, and if a staff member is super busy, they might sound rushed, but they are still kind and mean well. I haven't seen anything but a clean space, so I was surprised at the photos. I actually really like the people at Titan Vet, I think that they are true animal lovers and try their best to help, staying a little late or trying to fit one of our pets in. They are always busy, there are always people in line, but they do a good job, and try to keep their prices reasonable, which is probably why they are so busy.

Went back to RI and found they had got away from Covetrus pharmacy who were very expensive and sent dented cans, to a different pharmacy that told me to order her food direct from hills. Great! I find Dr Garrett and Dr Michelle are great. Not cheap but they keep up on all her shots. She is a happy camper now flipping from RI to Fl. Both vets about the same price.expensive but necessary.
