The day of my appointment someone calls and tells me my assigned physical therapist cannot make my appointment. I was disappointed because I was so looking forward to it. She offered two appointments the next day at times I just couldn't make (I work in a school). I explain this to her, and she said "I'm going to need a few hours to for you in we are just that busy". I said ok no worries and she said she'd call me back. That was over a week ago. I reached out to the first person I had set up the appointment with~no response. I'm disappointed because I was hoping that this would be the place that could help me be pain free. Edited to add: someone did reach out to me after I posted this review, I got both a message and a phone call. I have found another place that I am trying, but appreciate the communication.

I called in February to book a PT appointment with a pelvic floor physical therapist. They said…read moreearliest availability was in May, so I booked my appointment. I booked with the Los Gatos location instead of the Palo Alto location because Palo Alto didn't have availability until June. Several other places I call don't have availability until June or July either. My appointment in May comes around, and they call me the morning of to say that the referral my doctor gave is missing some information and needs to be updated, and if not, they will have to cancel my appointment. I frantically call my doctor, informing them of the ~3 hour deadline to update the referral. Then, they tell me the pelvic floor physical therapist is leaving their practice so it doesn't matter anyways. I can rebook my care with the Palo Alto location, who then tells me I now have to wait until July at the earliest. So now I've already been on their waitlist for 3 months, and I'm obviously not on anyone else's waitlist, so now I have to wait even longer to get care. Lesson learned: even if you book care with Select Physical Therapy, make sure you have a backup in place because they might just completely cancel your care and force you back on a waitlist with a different provider that's 2+ months long.
