What upset me even more than the injury was how it was handled. My technician never stopped to clean my finger and simply continued the service. There was no apology or concern shown. Before leaving, I spoke with them expecting at least an acknowledgment of what had happened. Instead, the incident was dismissed. There was no apology, no discount, and no attempt to make things right. My family spent nearly $250 during this visit. My 7-year-old granddaughter was charged over $56 to polish her natural fingernails and toenails, which also came as a surprise. I understand accidents can happen. What I cannot accept is a business showing no concern after a customer is injured. Customer service is measured by how problems are handled, and unfortunately this salon failed in that regard. I will not be returning.

I asked her AFTER SHOWING A PICTURE OF MY DESIGN MULTIPLE TIMES (mind you, a simple color with chrome) if we could do a tester on one nail to see if the color looks good and she said yes. since the salon was closing up, they asked if they could charge me before the design was done and I said OK. I paid my $70 and left a tip. Fast forward 30 minutes she's working on the design and remembers that there's chrome in it. She says she didn't count me for the chrome charge and that I have to pay an extra $15. I was kind of taken aback and even asked her to confirm if this would be 15 on top of the 70$ she had already charged me and she said yes. Whatever I paid and continued. She starts my first nail with a red color and it looks so bright that I remind her if we can test just one nail. She gets so annoyed and starts complaining saying she'll have to charge me extra if we test the nails and have to take them off and goes on to say that it's very late and she should be home right now. That moment made me feel so bad and embarrassed and on top of that, I had to pay so much more than I was expecting for a simple design that the entire experience was ruined. like I understand that people get tired after a long day, but is it my fault that I had a *SCHEDULED* appointment and that she just so happened to be my nail tech? It seemed like she was so frustrated throughout the entirety of the process that I regretted even coming in the first place.

It probably doesn't have any antibacterial properties. Techs are rude and not professional. The man working on my nails was in the middle of buffing one hand and got up without saying a word, grabbed his stuff, and moved two seats over to start working a woman who just walked in. And just left me sitting there, waiting, without knowing what was going on. They eventually moved me to someone else but it was bizarre. Every tool has been heavily used. Old nail dust thickly coated on every single thing.

Later on I realized that the discount had not been honored, but they seemed happy with their nails, and it was after hours anyway. The following week, my sister's gel nails, which had been sold to her as "good for 3 weeks" ended up coming off a week later (photo shown below). I was slightly irritated at this point, but was still traveling (this time with my brothers-in-law). After that trip I called and explained the situation to someone named Michelle who said that she would pass my thoughts up the ladder. I was seeking an adjustment of the original gel cost, then on that new price, the original 10% discount. Michelle's tone when taking the message very much conveyed "yeah right" but I left it with her. A week later, no response, I called back and got someone else who told me that someone would call. A couple days later someone did and I explained the situation to him, telling him that a discounted "re-do" of my sister's nails wouldn't help, as she lives in Topeka, not Bentonville. He said he would pass it up to management for me to get a call back. That never happened. So, I'm officially giving up and letting you all know. You can see on the receipt yourself that on a spend of $229.08 I was asking for an adjustment of around $40.00. I had to call 3 times just to be effectively ignored. I wasn't asking for much, just a reduction of the inferior nail treatment (not as delivered) and the 10% discount (not a lot, though I felt strongly that it should be honored given the poor quality of the treatment). As a fellow business owner I find this request not unreasonable and I think I have patiently tried to resolve this through ordinary means.

I specifically said that I know bangs are tricky and that if the stylist was not comfortable, I did not want her to do them. She assured me she could. She could not. She cut my bangs far too thick and far too wide--essentially from ear to ear--and then, in what felt like a panic, over-thinned them trying to fix it. The result is uneven, stringy, misaligned sections with different lengths, and hair that now starts much farther back on my head than it ever should. This is not a minor mistake--it fundamentally altered the structure of my haircut in a way that cannot be quickly corrected. To make matters worse, she was late to my appointment, and there was no acknowledgment or remedy offered for that. The lack of professionalism continued when I raised concerns. I was told, "it's not a big deal, it will grow," which is incredibly dismissive considering I have multiple family events and travel coming up, including a professional photoshoot. When I spoke to the owner, the response was, "what do you want me to do about it?" There was no accountability, no attempt to meaningfully fix the situation, and no care for how this impacts me beyond the salon chair. While I was not charged for the haircut itself, I still paid $80 for color--and that is the least of what this has cost me. This experience has cost me confidence, comfort, and peace of mind during important family moments that I cannot redo. This was never about saving $20 on a haircut. I paid far more than that in the aftermath of this experience. Mistakes can happen. But poor skill combined with dismissiveness, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling is unacceptable. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially for precision services like bangs.

At that time my pedicure was over 90 mins already and I had an appt after my services, so I suggested that we start my manicure and then put the top coat on after my manicure. She said no she couldn't do that. No discussion just no. So I skipped the top coat. Definitely just get cozy not cozier or coziest. The towel was cold in a few minutes but she was gone for the 5 mins it was on and the massage was too soft. I decided to just get a cozy manicure. My manicure turned out ok but no scrub nolotion at all. That just seems weird. I was there for 2 1/2 hrs but would have been there for 3 if I didn't downgrade. All for an uncomfortable, subpar service. Not again. Oh and it was Valentine's Day week and not one person came in or called the entire time I was there. Odd.
