When the pandemic started, I did not know where to go to purchase face masks and a friend pointed me to the Lollicup website. I was not sure of the quality so I ordered a couple of items and had them shipped to me. The shipping cost was reasonable and fast! I received my order in a few days and was okay with the quality. They did mix up my order and when I emailed them with pictures and an explanation, they remedied it right away. Not bad for a first time order experience. A few months pass by and I see that the price of a few items had dropped and this time, I saw the pick-up order option. Since I had time, I opted for the pick-up to save on shipping costs. I read the verbiage on turn around times and even called customer service before placing my order to make sure that my order would still be there for the day that I was available. Yes, I did not receive an email to state that my order was ready, so I called customer service and they noted that my order had been ready that day. I was a bit disappointed in their relay of information but what can I do. I drove to the office and the parking lot was packed. Not sure if they were all employee parking but it was crazy full. I walked in and there is a counter where you pick up your order. The customer service representatives gather your information and then pass the information to the back warehouse. A pet peeve is that, even though the orders are "ready", they really are not "ready." I would've imagined that when my email tells me that the order is "ready," that it would be packaged and ready for pick up but it is not. The people in the warehouse actually have to go and pick up your items, and place them in a box for you. You will be waiting about 40+ minutes, give or take depending on how busy they are, from when you step foot into the office, provide your order number, and receive your items. The worker showed me my order and I double checked to make sure all my items were in there. After inspection, I signed the paperwork noting that I picked up my order and was on my way. While waiting, I did notice a fridge where customers can grab 1 drink per person. Not sure if there was anything in there prior to me arriving but that is very thoughtful. Their lobby is packed with products showing what they sell and it surprised me of the food (drink syrups, creamer, boba, powders, and etc) and food packaging products that they sell. Very diverse, and a colorful way to brighten up the lobby.

Today, I was waiting in line at the self-checkout with only a few items: one loaf of bread, one package of paper towels, and three packs of milk. I politely asked an employee named Luis, who was holding a handheld scanner, if he could help me scan my items. Instead of helping, he raised his voice and repeatedly said, "Scan it! Scan it!" I politely asked again, "Would you please help me scan my items, please?" He looked visibly annoyed, grabbed my bread roughly, scanned it using the checkout scanner, and tossed it aside. Then, with the same irritated expression, he used his handheld scanner to scan the paper towels and milk, finished, and immediately walked away without saying a word. I noticed from his name badge that he has been working at this store for more than 10 years. I don't know whether he was having a bad day, but that does not justify treating a customer this way. Luis, the reason your name badge proudly displays your years of service is because it represents experience and trust. Customers expect someone with your experience to provide respectful and professional service. If providing customer service has become too frustrating for you, perhaps you should take some time off. Your job is to help customers, not make them feel like a burden. After shopping here for so many years, this was an experience I never expected. This place is bustling with business especially on the weekends. Upon walking in, you'll be able to borrow a grocery cart on the off chance that you'd buy a lot or a big item. You walk down the right side and you'd see a lot of clothing. These clothes are mainly from Sam's Club, Costco, or Target. They also have shoes available. Only some clothing articles are 50% the name brand price, but most of them are only a couple of dollars off. They have a furniture/appliance section of their warehouse next to the clothes. I've seen refrigerators, washing machines, outdoor furniture, and indoor. Sofas are available for half the price. I've seen a lot of kitchen items and outdoor items. They have pantry stuff, but all are open so they can count how many packages per box. They also have canned goods. When walking around, you'll see some bathroom necessities, living room appliances, stationary, and toys. I enjoy coming because I'll never know what I'll find or may need. Other reviews are right though; service isn't that great and the people at the front desk are usually on their phone.
