I ended up finding Bernadette, an independent nail tech who works there--and she's been an absolute gem. While she does use a drill (contrary to what I originally searched for), she's incredibly skilled, gentle, and precise--so much so that it never damages my nails. Her technique is both efficient and mindful, striking the perfect balance between machine and hand filing. Initially, I was getting regular gel manicures, but Bernadette truly cares about nail health, and she suggested switching to builder gel (BIAB). It was a game-changer. Builder gel doesn't require soaking off and allows for continuous fills--meaning you can build on top of your last set without compromising nail integrity. Since switching, my nails have grown so long, strong, and healthy, and a single BIAB manicure can last me up to 6 weeks! Beyond nails, Bernadette is a wonderful person--easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. She also specializes in pedicures for clients with diabetes or other health conditions, which speaks volumes about her expertise and sensitivity to clients' unique needs. So I was out and just decided to look on Yelp and this shop came up. I called and was able to get in the next day for a structured nail set on my natural nails and a pedicure. What I really like was that she does everything you can think of so if you want the gel x she does, acrylic she does that, and she goes the structured gel which is what I got. I am trying to grow my nails back out again and this works so well and I can't wait to see my nails grow. The pedicure was so great and the manicure she did very well especially with the cuticle work. I've never had anyone do the cuticles and nail foundation work as well as she did. As the pictures show I I got French on nails and feet. The only thing I would say that maybe it's just me and I use my hands too much, but the French didn't last long. It's already peeling...but other than that I love my nails. Can't wait until they get longer so I can get them almond shape!

At first, I honestly couldn't tell if it was a salon or what because I wasn't familiar with those buildings that have multiple mini businesses inside--but now? I'm completely sold. She was amazing. A M A Z I N G. The service was refreshing. She listened, asked questions, and made sure I was 100% happy with my length, shape, and style. I never felt rushed, and the conversation was great. She loves Christ, and the whole atmosphere was peaceful, chill, and welcoming. It's a smaller space since it's just her, but please don't let that stop you--it's not uncomfortable or crowded at all. Honestly, it makes the experience feel more personal. And bonus--there are so many other small businesses inside! While I was there, I got my son's haircut and my daughter's hair braided by neighboring businesses. Super convenient. I looove my nails and my toes! The male technician who did my pedicure was excellent. He was professional, thorough, and did a great job. I have absolutely no complaints about the service he provided. Unfortunately, the condition of the salon during this visit made it difficult to relax. I saw roaches crawling on the seating area, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. There was also a spider in the salon that several employees were loudly talking about and trying to kill, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere while clients were trying to enjoy their services. The biggest issue for me was watching a scrub product spill onto the workstation. Instead of discarding it, one of the technicians scooped it up with his bare hand and put it back into the bottle. Seeing a product that is used on clients' skin handled that way was very concerning and made me question the salon's sanitation practices. This experience was surprising because it wasn't like this during my previous visits. I hope this was just an off day and that management takes these concerns seriously. The technicians are talented, but cleanliness and proper sanitation are just as important as good customer service. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll return, which is unfortunate because I've had good experiences here in the past.
