You will be told the job is yours...pending an on-site Adecco managers approval ; ) In your head you be like; "What?!! How is the Adecco on-site supervisor over the HR Department that just hired me?" The on-line on boarding process will not show you interviewed or got the job offer...you received in-office. Your ability to message or call via the application will be blocked. Had a terrible experience with Whitney Cole months back. Do not waste your time with her. She is unpleasant to speak with, condescending, heartless, and rude. You are better off going to an agency that she doesn't work for. Who a company hires and keeps, speaks volumes of the culture, their values, morals, expectations- if they even have any, and overall standards. I would not want someone like her to ever be the face or a representation of my company. I mean the 1.5 star ratings speak for itself. She is of NO help. She has this ugly snarky attitude that can care less of your actual needs and what you are looking for. Not sure if she is unhappy or what, but she is too old to be that bitter. Word of advice for anyone, work on yourself, before you ever think about helping others, instead of spreading that negative energy. Very bad communication on their end. I went through the process of doing an interview and passing all their tests with great scores to be told I would be contacted the following Monday. It had been several weeks and I had not heard anything. I tried calling multiple times but they never answer their phones or respond to any voicemails. I went into the physical location and was told that I just have to wait to hear back. Never heard anything an entire month later. Why do all this work just to ignore a candidate? There needs to be better communication on the agency's part. The other reviews reflect that they have failed at this for years. read more

i went in for a Forklift position that they have up on their website for over 2 weeks already saying the pay is 23.50 and then Norma & Josie try telling me there is no openings but that they will keep their post up, it's a SCAM they wouldn't even give me the company name so that i can call or anything. i DO NOT recommend this agency for ANY job. My wife has been working with this company for a month and a half and this is already the second time they have not paid her. The first time they said it was a glitch in the system so she didn't get paid til the following week..OK now this time they tell her the check is processing and she still hasn't gotten her money. We have bills that are due and no money to pay them. This is ridiculous. We call and call the agency and no one will answer the phone. I don't understand how they can get away with not paying their employees. When I speak to the other people that are also employed with this agency, they all have the same issues checks are not being issued when they are supposed to and they never answer their phone. I also don't like the fact that they hire people pending a background check and fire them if something comes back, they shouldn't give people hope that they could work with them just to be fired. That's just my opinion, Adecco you need to do better. read more

You call but no one answers so you leave a voice mail but no one responds , did this for 3 days in a row before I had to finally go into office . Has an attitude and tells me I'll call you back later today with the update on my situation . Norma Never calls back I show up the next day at 11:55 and they have an "out to lunch" sign so I leave and come back at 1pm still no one there. Leave come back again at 2pm and still no one!? Call back leave a voicemail begging someone to call. Finally I get a call back and she has a major attitude when customer service is the #1 problem they have to begin with not to mention the 1 star rating on this app should say it all. I read the reviews and I agree this place isn't fair , I also had a job offer to the almond warehouse and I was suppose to start the next week and all I was waiting for is a call back ... nothing . Called the guy emailed. Seems like they don't need people. Every time I call the office I have to leave a voicemail which no one ever calls you back, when I did finally reach someone she said she's just covering for them and they are out of town and she's just helping out with the phones ... what ? I was given a appointment time to go in for an interview, showed up at given time and office was closed. I had to wait in the heat for over 2 hours. Luckily the business next door had me wait inside their place where it was cool and offered me something to drink. As far as communication they rarely answer the phone and never return calls. Was told they would give my number to a recruiter handling a production position coming up and never got a call back. They have you go in to do short interview and then don't call you back so when you call them to get update and lucky enough to speak to a person it's we don't have anything available at this time take your name and no call back when work is available. Told me they didn't have anything to fit my lack of production experience but would see job openings that didn't require experience. I loved this place when I first started, but then I got assigned a job at the Affina group in Patterson, and was so excited until I got laid off a week later and told it would be temporary. Then when I finally got called to go back like a month and a half later, my car broke down and I had to call out. Of course I didn't expect them to hold my job for me, but then Delilia got upset with me and put me on the do not call list. Like I can control my car breaking down, and how far away Modesto is from Patterson. Come to find out after calling the San Leandro location because I am looking to move back to the bay, I was told there are no bad comments on my file and I can work at any location. So this was a personal attack for no reason. I honestly think that she is some how related to one of the bosses at the job site I was sent to. I plan to file a complaint with corporate, because I went without work for months since they would not place me any more. read more

Consitantly unproffessional(snotty, rude, and sometimes they would yell at you). I contact addecco about getting myself a job. Took them 3 months to do so, well I was already applying for other jobs like I told them. I got a part time job the day after I went in to their office. I called to let them know. The response was "oh okay, why did you bother coming in?" Then 3 months later they call me to let me know about a position availble. I told them I had my other part time job. The lady sat and procceded to scream at me in the phone for almost 30 minutes about how ungrateful I am not jumping on this job now. After I requested to speak with another representative the other proceeded to mock me repeatedly. "Oh I don't understand why you do not want a full time job with this excellent job oppurtunity are you just not looking or what." Making snide comments as I attempted to explain to her I had a part time job. I then asked what are the hours of the other job. So I finally took the job so I didn't have to sit an explain to unproffessionals about having another job and going to college. After doing so I was stretched thin consitently tired etc. I decided to quit my part time job to continue working for addecco only because pay, and lack of sleep. I finally got on with the job full time so I was not working for addecco anymore (which I called and told them with a two weeks notice that I was in the final hiring stages of my job) Then they call me several weeks later, I was working so they left me a voicemail. I attempted calling them back but the apparently blocked my number. I do not see personally how these unproffesionals even have a job. I think they need to all be re-trained. read more
