There was a elderly woman waiting for her stylist to arrive at the salon. She waited 1hr. the stylist was a no show. Everything in this salon needs cleaning . There are things you should do to have the public comfortable in the setting you want us to pay for. If this salon closes tomorrow it would not be missed. The owner is reviewed as a good stylists but watch your wallet. It cost me $85.00 for 2 perms & I was sent out with damp hair. I'm still wondering where the style went, she tried to fluff my hair. Why am I paying for a style when I look like I just got out of the shower. NO CLASS.

Finding a hairstylist that you connect with can be as difficult as finding a therapist! I found Marie in about 2010, and I have not needed to look elsewhere since. Marie is as good as it gets when it comes to someone who knows how to cut hair and tailor it to each specific person and their needs/wants; she listens to the client and builds from there. The staff is always friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would also recommend Jerry Jones for any barbering needs. Verve is a terrific place and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great haircut experience.

Went in for a cut and color. I have medium brown hair. I told her I wanted darker than my normal…read morecolor, with some skinny blonde highlights. She mixed up two colors, and I asked her what the "dark" color was that she was using. She never showed me a swatch, or matched colors to my head, and she told me "I just mixed some colors together". Should have been RED FLAG right there. But I trusted her. When we were all done, my head was yellow, bright yellow! I was NOT HAPPY! She said she'd fix it for free, so I came back the following weekend to fix it. Her fix was just putting dark lowlights in. I told her to put a swatch against my head, I am normally a 6n, she used 7n as my "dark color" with blonde highlights - needless to say that wasn't the "dark" I was looking for. I now have yellow roots with dark low lights, and my hair feels SO horrible! It's like straw. I am SO NOT HAPPY with this experience. I hate is so bad!!! But my hair literally feels like straw so I don't dare dye the whole thing with 6n to start fresh. This is honestly the WORST hair dye experience I've ever had, and I paid salon prices for this! I've had better experience in high school with friends and a chunking kit... just saying.

I guess I'll have to find another place to get a haircut. There's a lot of them around and most of the stylists are friendly. After she finished blow drying my hair in all different directions she didn't ask if I wanted anything on it. She just said we're finished. I walked out of the place, looking like I was just electrocuted with my hair, sticking out in all different directions.
