They were very prompt to show up after I made the call to them in the early afternoon. I already knew the well pump went bad. I did some trouble shooting ahead of time. The 2 guy's who showed up were very nice, and confirmed my diagnosis. They replaced the pump and got us going in 2 hours. A textbook replacement. The work was done well. The only concern is they were very expensive. $1500. for labor, plus the new components were marked up more than 100% each. We were in a situation with no water. I should have done my homework. After the fact, I got estimates from other companies I had called, and could have saved $800. read more

I am Ashley S's neighbor who has been out of water for 5 days, and they have only been here for a day drilling (not a few days). I have had nothing but great service from the office staff to all the workers that have been at my house. Adams has been nothing but helpful and speedy on getting my well dug and water back in my house. I really want to give tehm 5 stars, but there are a few areas they could improve. The good: They responded extremely quickly when we lost water. Arrived within 2 hours of our call, diagnosed and gave us options within 90 minutes of arrival at our home. We decided that a new well was in order and they arrived the next morning to drill and provided a quote. Finalized the well the next day, about 50 hours from our initial call to them. Crew was amazing, professional and quick, we cannot say enough about how well they treated us. AND our property. The improvable: Our quote was about 2k less than the final cost. I get it that this is an estimate, but 2k is an awful lot to underestimate, especially given what was already known because of an existing well. The not so good: We feel like they don't finalize the job. The water testing, chlorinating and retesting is all left to the homeowner. This means that after the well is installed, expect to be without potable water for another 7 days (take water sample to testing company (hundred bucks, wait 3-5 business days for results, re-chlorinate your well, retest with testing company). Admas even say this process is normal, and that makes sense, but it really should be something they either explain up front, or do as part of the new well installation. read more

Exceeded all my expectations! The company about us section says it all. Family business built on honest, dependable work. I called Monday morning 8:30 am because I had no water. The person who answered the phone was friendly, pleasant and professional. My doorbell rang at 11am. Josh introduced himself and gave a brief explanation of what steps they would be taking. Then Josh and Brody began troubleshooting my system. They checked the simple things first and then determined that my well pump was bad. (I already knew this because I had already checked the simple things myself as well) Josh and Brody replaced my pump and Brody mentioned that my well tank was old and while it did not absolutely need to be replaced, it should be soon. He was 100% correct (I already knew this as well). Brody gave me a few options and left me with the decision. No high pressure sale tactics, instead the complete opposite. Josh and Brody were at my home to help! I decided to have my tank replaced also. I had already did my research and the cost of my job was very competitive. I know that I will need to replace my water softener system eventually and when that time comes it is nice to feel 100% confident that I will only need to make one phone call to this company. read more

Our well was running at a trickle on a Sunday night. I called them on my way into the office Monday at 7AM and left a message. Travis called me back shortly after 8 to let me know that they received my SOS and they'd call me back once they scheduled out their day to let me know when they could come by. He called me a little after that and told me he'd be out to our home within the hour. This was around 9 or 10 so they moved quickly. He checked out our pressure tank, our pressure switch, the well pump and a couple other points along the line. He changed out our pre-filter, replaced the pressure switch and even toted away old pressure tanks that the previous owner had left sitting. Adam's is a total lifesaver! I highly recommend them for all things well related. A lot of people must feel the same because their signs are all over our neighborhood. They're clearly a trusted company. read more

We started having trouble with our water pressure which was causing our geothermal heat system to shut down. With no heat we called three companies. One never called back, one called back 24 hours later, and Karen at Adams actually answered the phone! Although they were busy, because we had no heat she got a tech out to our house in about 4 hours. After some diagnosing, it was determined that our well pump had gone bad. I got a price for the replacement and the tech gave us a suggested upgrade that he said would solve the low water pressure we often had. I decided to go with the upgrade and fully expected that they would have to come another day to get my well, and heat up and going. Again I was surprised when he said that he would get it done now. 3 hours or so later I was back with water and heat. Now that was truly a pleasant fix worth a 5 star rating. But please read on as the following is what makes Adams special. When I went to pay the bill the amount was higher than I thought I'd agreed to. Rather than dispute it with the tech, I paid the bill and called Karen the next morning. I explained to Karen why I thought the amount would be lower and she told me she understood my point and asked me to give her a day to get with her tech and she'd get back with me. A day later I got a call and they said they understood how the communication error occurred and they would either void my check and I could send them a new one or they would send me a refund for the difference. I choose for them to send me a check and it arrived today! I won't say I was shocked it was so easily resolved, as my impression from the start was that they are a sincere and honest firm. I will say that I'm very appreciative of the professional and polite manner they listened to my side and then quickly resolved the issue. I whole heartedly recommend that anyone needing well service use Adams as I know I will! Oh yes, we love the upgrade that was suggested. Our water pressure has never been so good. Adams originally put in our well 17 years ago (long before we moved in). Recently we were having issues with losing water pressure at the well head so we had them out to fix a bad switch at the valve. They came out quickly (next day after I called) and worked until the issue was fixed and followed up a day or two later to see if I was satisfied with the work before billing me. read more

Adams well drilling did OK with drilling well, but on installation of water softener system they did poorly. First the PEX tubing from RO system leaked and when tech came to fix leak, he left standing water on newly poored concrete floor which stained the floor badly. Also, the installation of post softener filter system, the heavy iron mounting bracket was installed with drywall anchors on the poured concrete wall. When I attempted to loosen the 10" filter housing, the entire bracket broke loose from the wall! I was going to call Adams back to rub their nose in it, but fixed it myself using anchors made for concrete walls! read more

If you are looking for a business that truly understands how important customer service is, then I would highly recommend Adams. I recently had an issue with my Well pump control unit and left them a message around 9 pm. I was expecting that they would return my call during lunch or sometime later in the day since I left the message late at night. They actually called me back at 7:45 am. They suggested a Service Call which is what I was expecting, but when I told them I needed to keep the cost low, she said she would talk to a technician and have one call me back. Again, I was expecting a call at some point later in the day or perhaps the next day, since they probably had a full schedule. But to their credit, I received a call from a technician at around 8:15 am. I explained what was going on and asked him if he could walk me through some initial troubleshooting to try and avoid a service call. After resetting the Control Unit did not clear the fault I thought a service call was unavoidable. Luckily, the Pump Control Unit that I have has a way to manually activate the pump. After manually running the pump it cleared the "Service Unit" red light and now is functioning normally. Thanks to Adams' patience, flexibility, and belief in real Customer Service, I was able to avoid any Service Call or expensive repairs. They easily could have charged me a small fee for the Technicians time, but he said he was happy to help. Everyone I have spoken with, including past experiences, is friendly and places the customer above profits. They earned a customer for life a long time ago and after every interaction, I always walk away knowing I made the right decision. read more

I would not recommend Adams Well Drilling to anyone. They refused to finish the job after ripping out our old well pump and piping. They wanted to add extra's to their service that was not necessary or asked for and we refused. When we did refuse and asked them to stick to what we originally agreed upon, the technician stated that they were "Insulted" because they were the "Expert" and we should "listen" to them. We requested a new technician to come out to finish the job after the first refused to do so. The owner (Deb) refused to return our calls all day. The previous technician removed the piping and old pump from our property ( in hopes to scrap the steel maybe?) when we did not ask them to do so. Another company who came out wanted to see the old piping and pump and Adams refused to return it. The owner mocked both my husband and myself when we tried to file a complaint with her, laughed at us and hung up on us. Completely unreasonable behavior. read more
