These guys are honest! I had a low pressure problem with my well. I had someone else come out who…read moresaid that I needed a new well! I called B.W. Layman, Phil came out and said it was a pumping problem, not a well problem. He sent a team out to do a complete cleaning. They worked politely and professionally on the hottest day of the year! They solved my problem for a fraction of what the other guy wanted! When I do need a well dug, they are the only phone call I will make because I can trust what they say,

After 14 months, I have just FINALLY settled my law suit with them and their insurance company over their completely inept installation of a water softener for my home. After they sent out 2 kids to install the softener, it spouted water out of the top and flooded my family room. They then lied to me and tried every way to NOT accept responsibility for their actions. They then tried to tell me that I should turn in the damages they created to MY insurance company, and they squirmed and tried their very best to avoid paying for their incompetence. PLEASE STAY AWAY from these dishonest and incompetent jerks if you want to do business with an honest and competent company........because they are NOT honest, and the quality of their work is less than a 13 year old off the street would do. I give them a NEGATIVE 10 for their review.

Woke up in the morning the other day where we had no water in our home. After reviewing both…read moreGoogle and Yelp reviews for well contractors in the area we settled on Wyckoff Well Drilling based on all the positive reviews where Google is a 5 star average! I called the business at 7:30 am, a time that most businesses of this nature were closed and was surprised to reach a human voice on the other end end. Seeing that we were literally out of water and in a lurch the owner, Robert, was able to juggle his full schedule and was get to our house less than an hour after contacting him. Upon arrival Robert was able to quickly diagnose our issue as a failed pressure switch and had parts on hand to effect the repair all within an hours timeframe. The service call with labor and parts came to $140 which was very very reasonable in my mind. I truly expected it to be much more due to all the price gouging I have seen in this area in the past and definately did not expect to be up and running again within 2 hours of my original call. Nice! Throughout the process Robert and his grandson Trevor were super friendly and explained what was going on throughout the process showing great patience with my questions as he went about the business of the repair. During the repair process he identified that the pressure switch had failed as a result of my 35 year old pressure tank being near end of useful life where the bladder was clearly starting to fail. He explained to me that we could get a few more years out of my old tank but the tradeoff was that my well pump which is also 35 years old was getting cycled way more than it should which could lead to a an earlier failure of that key component which would be a much more expensive repair on the order of $3500. At no point did he pressure me to replace the pressure tank but instead provided key data/information I needed to make an informed decision all the while stating I could push this tank replacement off maybe a couple more years. Being a retired engineer I appreciated both his honesty and candor where he presented the facts/data which is the way all contractors should act and most dont and let me make up my own mind where I decided to proceed with the replacement of the pressure tank in order to extend the life of my old more expensive well pump which he did two days later. No over the top pressure tactics here and the usual scare tactics that contractors like use. Again nice! Overall I was completely satisfied with the work he did on my well system and how he handled his business. Reasonable cost, first class work and a friendly demeanor are hard to beat in my book and I will definately contacting him for any well issues I have in the future. Five stars in my book.

He went above and beyond to help us fix the problem even though it was bigger than we originally thought. The price was reasonable too. I highly recommend these guys!

Joe was here for 3 hours the first day to drill the new well, and the next day came back put a new pump underground and all the other work that needed to be done. This man Is very motivated and does great work. He is honest, no hidden fees. and this is also the first job I have ever had done, that the clean up process was great, others usually leave such a mess behind, not him. thumbs up to curry well drilling,

DO NOT USE JOE CURRY WELL DRILLING! I have to say this company could possibly be the worst company…read moreto work with ever, and I mean ever! Joe Curry personally did a great job "over" selling me the well with his quick talking, and "30 year's experience" for an overpriced $7,000 at least $2,000 more than is should have cost well. (FYI - which I now know is working directly with McPherson Well Service, where Joe Drills McPherson's well quotes for him with his rig) who ironically quoted me near the same $7,000 price. Not only did Joe personally upon the initial estimate, bash Oakland Country for their water testing procedure on certifying a well to rid the bacteria, but did not back his work after is was drilled. My well failed a total of 4 times for bacteria at high levels, he did not stand behind his work to assure the well was 100% clean of bacteria, rather he walked away after just 2 chlorination's saying he "does not work for free" and would need to charge me to get rid of bacteria with another chlorination? Now I am really upset and confused as to how someone can just walk away?? Isn't this part of the well procedure to drill a safe well? Not in in their eyes. I had to pay out of my own pocket to have another well company chlorinate/re-establish once, time and it passed. (I have their name if you need it) One try and it had to be re-established, not did Joe Curry try, or offer this. Not only, my well was drilled on 10/30/17 and it was not until 1/12/18 that my well was free of bacteria. I lived with bacteria in my home for nearly 3 months. Not once, did Joe try to make it right without attempting to charge me. It gets worse. After 3 days of rain recently, I came home to a wet basement. I found that the old intruding well pipe that Joe Curry used to put his new pipe through, was leaking like a drinking fountain in my basement for days, and not sealed properly outside the well, or at the house. My basement was full of water and carpet ruined. I called Joe curry who offered to come put a drain from my gutter in the yard (which was not the problem), spray foam in the pipe (which he did), and let me use a high powered fan. When I told him I needed the problem dug up from the outside as the leak is from the yard, he refused to help. He would not dig up the problem, again saying he'd need to charge me if he did? I now have a new $7,000 well, my own extra costs, a leaky well, a wet basement, ruined carpet, and new piping and electrical wire sitting in an old leaky well pipe ..... and he has actually packed up and walked away refusing to do anything else to make this right. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
