Even if you receive a notice, it is a text message with a website link instructing the recipient to click in order to access the document. The links only work for a day or 2, then they're broken, unable to be accessed any longer. the address this company has on their website is not even the location where the vehicles are held! the small patch of property where the vehicles are stored is hazardous, unsafe, with a ditch in the roadway & surrounded by a junkyard/dumping site. they are not easy to get a hold of when attempting to arrange for payment & pickup of the vehicles. when you do manage to get a hold of someone, you are told someone will be there in 10 - 20 minutes, only to sit and wait for several hours. this was an absolute nightmare and total scam of taking resident's cars, especially when you are an expectant mother and need transportation, is horrendous. do not award any contracts to them, nothing but scammers & thieves out to make a quick buck off the backs of hard working people.

Which is against the law in Virginia. The most they can charge for a tow is $210 + $30 if the tow occurs late at night not during normal business hours. Also, the most they're allowed to charge is $50 a day. They charged double. They saw my father was in a terrible situation and tried to take advantage. What they're doing is extortion. She happened to be closing on a home that day. Ethan waited on her to complete signing her paperwork with the buyer and completed the job. Both my daughter and I were very pleased with Ethan and Snatched Towing & Recovery. I genuinely recommend their service (AND THEIR PRICING!!)

I was hit by a driver who ran a red light. I was in pain, my car got towed, and all I wanted was to…read moreget my belongings and take photos for insurance. What I got instead was one of the most degrading experiences of my life. The tow company ("Roadside Heroes" / RVA Roadside LLC) never gave me an address. I had to track down the location myself through a reverse phone lookup -- and even the police couldn't find the place. Every time I called to ask for directions, the driver hung up on me. Multiple times. Even when I was still at the hospital. When I finally found the lot the next morning, he kept me waiting outside a locked gate, then told me on a call that he had me "on speaker," mocking me while I cried to my mother in what I thought was a private conversation. When he showed up, I asked a simple question, and he told me, quote: "In all my 8 years, I ain't never dealt with no ghetto bitch." When I told him I'm a 52-year-old woman, he said I sounded like a "52-year-old child," pushed the gate into me to keep me out, and threatened to have me arrested for trespassing and assault -- for standing outside his own business waiting to get my things. I never touched him. I never cursed at him. The only thing I said was that his behavior was racist. His response was to threaten a false police report on the spot. When officers arrived, one told me flat out, "Don't talk to me, you talk to him." No report was filed against him. No accountability. Just a Black woman in pain, standing outside a gate, being talked to like she didn't matter. If you are a person of color, be careful with this company. If you're anyone at all, be careful with this company. This is not how you treat a customer -- let alone one who was just in an accident and is trying to get her own property back. I am filing a formal complaint and pursuing this further. This should not happen to anyone.

This is a five star review so you already know my thoughts, but after speaking with Chris today I…read morethink it's important to go into a bit more detail. For any company out there HOW they do business is just as important as whether they do a good job. Read on. I'll try to entertain you along the way I promise. I don't know jack about cars. It's not my thing and never has been and I always feel like an idiot when something goes wrong because while it would probably be a good idea to learn what makes my car go VROOM VROOM life is too short and I have other things I'd like to spend my time on. So one day I wake up and my car won't VROOM or even turn on. Crap. It's stuck in the drive way and there's no easy way to jump it in the position it's in. How do I even jump a car? ::Googles how to jump a car:: "Jumping your car might lead to injury death and maybe destruction of electrical equipment/starter" oh nice great easy I'll pass thanks. I called a few shops, some big, some small. All of them tell me it's an alternator problem based on the dash lights, age of the car, etc. I'm told I shouldn't try and jump it because it could die at any moment which might lead to me dying any moment so just have the car towed and they'll do some diagnostic work on it. My BS detector starts perking up but again, not a car guy. I look on yelp and see that Sam's is pretty close to where I live so I put out a request for a quote. Yelp told me they would send it to a few people I said sure fine whatever. Within a few minutes I get a message from Chris asking for some details about what's wrong with my car. I tell him it won't start and relay what the shops told me. He gave me a quote and said he could squeeze me in sometime today (we spoke yesterday evening). Oh I also got an automated message from another towing company this morning, and the third one never bothered to respond. Fast forward to this morning Chris shows up at my house and immediately pulls out a jump kit to get my car started to rule out the alternator problem. Why? He's the guy towing my car why does he care....? It starts and stays start-ed. He tells me to skip the shop and go to advanced auto where they can test my battery and throw a new one in because it's definitely not my alternator. (I also googled what an alternator was because cars are ::waves hands:: made of magic or something). There was a service charge for him to come out which I felt was more than fair for the amount of money he saved me. Turns out it was just a dead battery most likely from the heat and not going anywhere/working from home. He could have made more for towing me a mile down the road and let the mechanic figure it out but he didn't. That is....so important these days. In the business I'm in, integrity is in short supply (Real Estate. Don't even get me started), and honestly it seems like it's in short supply everywhere. Nobody is honest with each other and it's very rare you come across people, let alone business owners, that aren't trying to skin you alive and pull a fast one on you to make an extra buck. Chris didn't do that. He was professional and honest. I know he wasn't trying to just fix the issue so he could cut and run to the next job. We sat and spoke for a bit while the car ran just to make sure it wouldn't abruptly die. After he left I almost felt like I ripped him off for not ripping me off. Is that weird? That's weird isn't it. Anyway five stars A+ would definitely call him for any future towing needs and you should too.
