You start off the service with getting your hair washed and then head over to the chair where Jennifer does her assessment of the next steps. I asked to go a dark brown and a 1 inch trim with long layers and bangs starting near my midface. I would also like to mention that my scalp usually flakes and peels after getting my hair dyed but it's been about a week and this has not happened so I'm super happy about that. Elaine ended up staying about 20 mins after closing to finish my hair, she really went above and beyond. I'll be back when I need a little self care day again. Side note: some of the hairstylists don't speak very great english. One of the other customers sitting near me was getting visibly and verbally agitated due to the language barrier with her hairstylist which was disheartening to see and hear. She was very thorough during the consultation to make sure I understand what she is about to do and that I also get what I came in for. My original hair was highlighted (super bleached/ashy) and had a bad layered cut (turns out I had a mullet I wasn't aware of lol). I wanted to return to my natural color and also get a cut to even out my layers. Within two hours, Hanh achieved the color and cut seamlessly through proper and detailed steps to repair my damaged hair. My experience with her was fantastic. She is so bubbly and fun to talk to and she is an expert in her field. I have never learned so much about hair ever in my life! Even for styling, she gave so many tips.
