So I got a careless driving ticket that I was found guilty the main reason for me writing this is…read morebecause of how ridiculous it is that I was found guilty even though common sense and knowledge would say I was not guilty.( very disappointing) long story short I got in an accident during a really bad snow storm in February where I totaled my car after accelerating over a foot pile of snow on the main road of 120th and I-25 causing my car to lose complete control. The cop who arrived on scene later made "speculation" and circumstantial evidence of what he thought happened which saying I was driving too "unsafe" and "fast". Funny fact that isn't considered actual evidence. But for some reason despite me pointing out it was all speculation and that I was driving very careful and that the fault was the road not me driving carelessly. I've admitted fault in every traffic ticket I've gotten this is the first one I went to actual court for and honestly I'm disappointed. Which leads me to assume that I was guilty already and that they perceived the law in anyway possible to find that I was guilty. Very unprofessional and due to its new building and no yelp page I'd make one for them so that anyone prepared to fight a ticket I hope you don't end up here. Honestly I'm Uber upset with how things turned like if a person slips on ice outside a store (it's not he was carelessly walking) no it a fine for the store because it there job to make sure it's safe. Same logic applies to the road unless a 150 pound person inside the vehicle can Superman outside and stop a sliding car, baffled. It not innocent until proven guilty. It's guilty until you prove your innocence.

The advice and insights that were offered to me were always delivered in a polite and respectful manner. I am appreciative of their services and would highly recommend Bridge to Justice to anyone. Their efforts to be able to help those with less means without compromising on the quality of the services they provide is exemplary and should be emulated by others.

They don't actually help, or do anything, even though there is often simple legal action they could take to help. "Representation" is not really what one gets. After going through a slow process to qualify, which may be too little too late, you may get to speak with an attorney. That doesn't equal representation. They pay "contract" attorneys to speak with clients. The contract attorney makes money and you don't really have help. Just because someone has a law degree, doesn't mean they know the type of law you need help with, or care. This is like a side job for bad attorneys and don't confuse non-profit with caring. It's so frustrating because they could help. Bridge to Nowhere gets money from the State and other grants, this is what they are supposed to do. This organization has always been kind of useless. They need to offer real representation. Mediate, write letters, file motions. People are overwhelmed when they need legal help and these people do nothing.

We hired him and of course he took our $500, said he was going to reschedule our court date and he would get back to us once that was done. Two weeks later we still heard nothing and he ignored all our attempts to contact him. We ended up calling the Westminster court clerk the day before my son was suppose to appear and they said NOTHING HAD BEEN RESCHEDULED!!!! So if my son did not appear there would be a warrant out for his arrest. So we frantically prepared for court in less than 24 hours, still unable to get a hold of this quack, so-called, lawyer. Luckily this was my sons first offense and he was basically let off with a warning with some community service but if it was for our due diligence this situation could have affected our 18 year old son for the rest of his life. I will be reporting him to the bar association, this poor excuse should not have a license to practice law! Please DO NOT OBTAIN HIS SERVICES!! Wish we would have checked his reviews before we paid because obviously this guy treats everyone like they are disposable.
