We hired Tim to do a complete bathroom remodel, including a corner shower, new floor, tile, paint,…read moreand drywall. After demo we learned of extensive water damage, and Tim corrected and secured floor joists, and corrected an uneven floor. He brought the best tile guys in the area, and guided us in decision making from start to finish. He really busts his ass. He doesn't talk, eat, drink, or play on his phone. He works nonstop, and could easily outwork someone half his age. While he was here we asked about other projects such as replacing doors, and he had a guy in here the next day to look at our doors. If your looking for a no nonsense hardworking guy- Tim is the man.

They were a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them. Unfortunately he recommended Scott Southworth Electric of Hampden MA, an electrician that is not a straight shooter. I had several electricians quote the job and went with Tim's recommendation. He quoted, then when Tim and I suggested he look at another electrician's quote, Scott told me yes its a better way. He looked me in the eye and said to my face that it would significantly save me on both material and labor. (about 30 feet of Romex 220 copper wire, very expensive per foot) I contracted Scott without getting a re-quote (my mistake) and when it came time to pay there was no additional discount. Very slimy. Scott Southworth basically took another electrician's idea for the job, plus Tim and my recommendation for savings, and KEPT it as his additional profit! Very scummy! He tried to justify it by telling me how much gas prices are up, and how he has to pay his insurance. I told him thats bull, we all have these expenses. The nerve to try to blow me off saying he has expenses. He cannot be trusted. I will NEVER use Scott Southworth Electric again and would warn everyone about his very unscrupulous BAD Business. None of this is Tim's fault. Tim and his company are awesome and I would highly recommend them. I don't think Tim will be recommending Scott anymore.

The project manager said that Anthony had done good work in the past and was confident in his skill level. But it got to a point where I wouldn't allow his crew to return. The owner of the restoration company asked if I would give Anthony a second chance to come in and complete the tile work. The bathroom floor was straightforward and came out good. But the kitchen was a bit more complex and about 1/4 needs to be torn out. I actually had to explain edging and bullnose tile to him. The pictures are just a small representation of what they considered to be finished work...they had packed up and removed their equipment. I was speechless. There was wall paint all over my cabinets and molding, molding paint all over the ceiling and walls, and gobs of joint compound. The demo crew set up a plastic containment barrier. When it was removed, Anthony's crew painted over the adhesive residue left from the tape. A breakfast nook escaped damage except for a 6-8 inch stain on the ceiling. Instead of using stain blocker, the crew slapped joint compound on the stain and painted over it without sanding. In addition to being sloppy, they clearly do not have the skill to work in old homes. Additionally, they took down the motion sensor to the security system, lost half of the unit, and hung up what was remaining. No one recalls touching it - that's a $350 replacement and installation cost. They also covered my Corian sink in paint, lost the paint covered garbage disposal stopper, used my mop bucket and left it behind covered in crap, and let tons of construction debris pile up in a pantry sink that has 114 year old pipes. The restoration company had their demo guys come in to try and clean up the mess, but unfortunately the ceilings need major remediation and I have to hire someone else to come in to clean up the poor caulking and painting. Work time was already extended at least 1 week because of mistakes and sloppiness. I got the distinct impression that Anthony was juggling a lot. Judging from the reviews, he should drop construction from his business model and focus on the landscaping.
