The bill that I received did not give any information re:date of service, what service was performed or how much was billed and paid by my insurance company. The only thing the bill said that I had a $62.40 payment due to their office...NO OTHER INFO! When I called the office to get more info I was told it was for periodontal work and that was not covered by my insurance! I called the insurance company and was told they DID NOT DENY coverage but requested more info from the office! Their request for more info went unanswered. The billing office billed me a second time after which i contacted the manager and told her I would not even consider paying such an unprofessional bill until she answered the insurance companys request. I have gone into the Better Business Bureau website with all intention of reporting the issue to them and find that they have gotten many similar complaints that have gone unanswered by the Smilist. Apparently the Smilist doesn't care about their customers and is not into good customer service!
