This isn't really a hotel at all, it's an extended stay aparthotel. Meaning if you want to stay for a few days (4+) then you do not get daily house keeping, so no fresh towels, no trash removal, no made up bed. Be aware that the staff is very rude and inattentive. We waited 35 minutes to check in, upon checking in, we found there was no wifi, only Internet connection through LAN in your room. There is a "business centre", which has no printer, and is only 3 dated computers, and the computers were "not working" according to the staff the 4 days we stayed there.
We asked for an extra pillow one night, the night desk clerk was too busy smoking his cigarette to get us one so he told us "no pillows today, the pillow delivery did not come in today". Who honestly beliefs that??? The next morning we asked again and magically they had them.
I had asked for a view of the Eiffel Tower when booking, we did get a slim view of it, be aware that if you are high enough and on maybe one of the 2 out of 6 rooms on the floor that might have an un-obstructed view. There are other high rise buildings and a rather odd tall white smokestack looking thing blocking the view for the other rooms.
The worst part yet-our last night in Paris, I was going to the business centre to see if maybe on the final night the computers were working, I got off on the 1st floor, my GF was going to the room to drop our shopping bags off. I got to the computers and still not working. Head to the room, notice my GF or our bags are not there. Go down to the business centre again, maybe I missed her, not there, not in the lobby, not in the room again, not in the business centre again. I then run to the Novotel next door (free wifi there, you'll need it), she isn't there using their wifi. Then my mind starts to run, maybe I've seen the movie Taken too many times, but my pretty GF, expensive shopping bags in an elevator, maybe she was kidnapped!!!! I go to the front desk and ask if they've seen her, nope, I go back to the room, the business center, the lobby. By now over an hour has passed, go back to the room once more, she still isn't there. I go to the reception desk again, say that my GF is missing, I need the police or security!!!! The response "maybe she went shopping"!!!!! Really! I explain that's not reasonable and I need the police. Then the woman says "maybe she's stuck on an elevator", not telling me that they have a broken elevator with 9 people on it. Just maybe she's stuck on one somewhere. I asked if they can call and see if my GF is there, they say no she's not. They didn't know her name, so how can they know. I tell her to call the elevator and ask. She asks my name, and then says, no there are no Deans on the elevator. Well duh, I'm right in front of her!!! I overhear her speaking on the phone in French that the stuck elevator is between the 9th and 10th floor. I go up to the 10th floor and call my GF's name, and she responds! Thank god! She hasn't been kidnapped by a Parisian sex slave gang! On her end she was stuck in a 4x10 elevator with no air with 8 other people on it for more than an hour. They refused to call the police, fire department, just the Otis repair man, who was at least 45 minutes away by the time they call. The hotel didn't open the door for air, and stopped answering the emergency phone after they kept demanding to call the fire department.
Finally she gets out, livid! We both are yelling at the Manager, demanding a full refund. After 10 minutes we go to the lobby, get some free water and are given a refund for 80% of our stay. We then ask (with another couple that was in the stuck elevator as well) if we can use the printer at the reception desk, the manager says no, but he can take us to the business center, he gets there and after 5 minutes of farting around realizes that his computers are not working. He takes us to the hotels back offices where he lets us use the computers there. So our last night in Paris was wasted, thanks to the hotel.
So, if for some reason you do stay here and only find this review after you've checked in, here are some tips! If you want Wifi, there is a Novotel and a Mercure on either side of the hotel, as well as a Starbucks and McDonalds by the Charles Michel metro stop(5 minutes walk).
Ask for an un-obstructed view on the high floors or you'll have a 1/3 view of the Eiffel Tower.
Bring good shoes because the Eiffel Tower is a good 15 minute walk at a quick pace.
