My spouse is a physician as well (another specialty) and can be quite particular about our providers, and he thinks she's wonderful. My five year old said, "She's so calm." This was during a joint well child check with two young children and me being a stressed parent wanting to touch base on a few things. Dr. Julian IS calm. She also graciously reviewed notes I had taken when our youngest was sick off and on for a few weeks. I was embarrassed because she could see my google search notes on the paper, but she didn't laugh or disregard me and took my concerns seriously. My whole family really likes her. We feel fortunate to be in her care.

As soon as we said that, our kids doctor (Angela Beauchaine) unfortunately was not kind or understanding at all. Immediately started fear mongering and telling me our child was going to die and told us of a patient she had that died. Also, the nurse for our children was a smoker. Could smell it all over her. You're basically telling me I'm going to k**l my children by not vaccinating right when they're a newborn but your nurse is a smoker?! Make it make sense.

Most recently my daughters came in for their annual well exam and because my teen daughter asked a question about acne during her visit, they charged us an additional $375.00 office visit on top of the well exam office visit that they billed for. We have also had problems over the last 2 years with the urgent care doctors refusing to treat ear infections and sinus infections because they don't want to prescribe antibiotics. At one point we had gone into the facility 3 times in the course of a month and a half because our daughter's ear was not getting better. Each time paying for an office visit for the same issue and having them tell us there was nothing they could do. When her ear was finally so swollen she had lost complete hearing in it they gave us antibiotics and within days the infection cleared up. By the time we finally got the treatment she needed we had a bill over $1000. Unfortunately, it looks like it's time to find another doctor and facility.

We have had multiple issues since our baby was born and all he did was tell us to switch from one formula to another which by the way just exacerbated the situation. I have sat and watched them many times, and I simply think they are so short staffed that they get as frustrated as their patients. I have been misdiagnosed and diagnosed correctly at different times. I NEVER go there for urgent care, they always send me to ST. Al's anyway, so I just cut out the middleman (depending, of course on the issue). Unfortunately, the front desk seems to be the captain of the ship, and that captain is handicapped with their working environment and being overworked; I assume for the sake of saving $ and hiring as few as possible, then they can only deliver poor customer service. (I may be wrong, but if you read the bad reviews here, I think you will see the same frustration).
