I explained to the girl on the telephone what the situation was and the call was expedited. Tim the AAA technician arrived in minutes. My dog was tired and scared so Tim did this while I kept a distance holding on to a skittish dog. Tim was prompt, polite and professional and after a terribly stressful situation I was overjoyed to experience a little dose of kindness. Please let him know that his happy smile and jovial disposition turned a bad situation around. That was a gift.

I frantically called Advanced Lock & Key and Kirk Ciccarello took up my request. He showed up an hour late, blaming it on me to my friend. I didn't answer his call for 10 minutes, he complained to my friend asking for payment from her and saying she couldn't get in just to feed the cat and would have to lock the door again if I didn't pay him immediately. He hadn't given me a way to pay him or tell me how much I owned him up until this point. I payed him as planned and he left with the door unlocked. But not before complaining to my friend about how much he hates working with people like me and how much of an inconvenience it is that I needed to ask my friend to come and feed my cat, how I should have picked up immediately (I was ready when he said he would have been there an hour earlier but he waited 30 minutes to say he would be another 30 minutes and I had things to do). My friend said she felt threatened and uncomfortable the entire time. Their website says they offer free child lockouts and I am fully aware a human child is different then a cat, I expected to pay maybe $50 for the 10 minutes it took him to unlock the door, not including the drive there. The cost was $110 for him to unlock the one deadlock, no keys were made or anything.

I had a key fob that's been half-working for about six months. By the time he finished, I had a brand new key fob and two freshly cut keys. He also offered to replace the battery in the old one. For context, I drive a Mazda that requires manufacturer key fobs, so the total came out to about $350. They were very upfront about the cost and explained that Mazdas can be a little tricky with keys. Now instead of one key that works half the time, I have three keys that work perfectly and a backup. The technician also suggested I try getting reimbursed through AAA or my insurance, which I appreciated. Fast service, professional, and everything works. Would definitely recommend.
